Abstract
A system generates a map for use in navigating a host vehicle relative to a road segment. The system receives drive information from each of a plurality of vehicles that traversed the road segment 2910 and aggregates indicators representative of road topography features to generate a representation of road topography of the road segment 2912; provides the representation of road topography of the road segment as input to at least one trained model configured to generate an output including a target trajectory for at least a first portion of the road segment 2914; aggregates the actual trajectory information included in the drive information received from the plurality of vehicles; generates a crowdsourced trajectory for at least a second portion of the road segment based on the aggregated actual trajectory information; combines the target trajectory and the crowdsourced trajectory to generate a hybrid trajectory associated with the road segment; stores the hybrid trajectory in the map 2916; and provides the map to at least one host vehicle navigation system 2918.
