Gabions

Abstract

The present invention provides a kit for assembling a gabion 1-4 comprising a plurality of panels, each panel comprising a wire mesh wherein at least some of the panels comprise a lining material 103a-103h connected to and extending over at least one face of the wire mesh, and a plurality of connection means for connecting the panels to one another to form a gabion compartment. The lining material may comprise a single piece of material attached to each wire mesh. The connection may comprise helical wire members 104a-104h and the lining material may comprises a geotextile.
