Power tool system with a detachable level

Abstract

A power tool has a detachable level 200 received in a receptacle (132, fig 1). The level can have a self-levelling laser line generator 248, a power source 252 that receives electrical energy from the power tool, a pendulum unit 208, and a switch 256 to activate the laser generator 248 when the level is removed from the receptacle and deactivate the laser generator 248 when the level is inserted into the receptacle. An additional spirit / bubble level, housing window 220 for a laser line, electrical contacts 236, inductive wireless charging 260, pendulum locks (144, fig 2) are described. Figure 3
