Concrete reinforcement spacer

Abstract

There is disclosed a concrete reinforcement spacer (1) meant to maintain the reinforcement in a predetermined fixed distance from a surface (5) to be concreted. Said spacer includes two elongated parallel walls (2, 2') which are connected by a connecting element (3) and include side projections (4, 4') at their lower part which is placed on the surface (5) to be concreted; the aforementioned side projections (4, 4') are shaped so as to adhere to the surface (5) during the placement of the spacer (1) thereon, increasing the contact area of the spacer (1) with the surface (5) and preventingthus the sinking of the spacer (1) into the surface (5) to be concreted in the event that this last is soft.
