SYSTEMS, MACHINES, AND METHODS FOR MONITORING AND MITIGATION OF MACHINERY COLLISIONS AT WORK SITE

Abstract

A system (110) for mitigating machine collisions at a worksite is disclosed. The system is configured to receive at least one input from at least one monitoring device (135) associated with at least one machine (105) operating within the worksite. The system is also configured to detect at least one collision event associated with at least one machine corresponding to at least one work area (140) within the worksite based on at least one received input. Further, the system is configured to determine the severity of at least one detected collision event corresponding to at least one work area based on a model. In addition, the system is configured to identify, through the model, at least one collision zone (145) within the worksite based on the determined severity.Next, the system is configured to perform, through the model, at least one corrective action based on at least one identified collision zone.
