This invention relates to the field of agricultural equipment technology, specifically a portable areca nut splitter to increase the efficiency of the splitting process. This tool is designed using a lithium battery power source that drives a brushless DC motor so that it can operate the splitting system without relying on a fixed power source. The splitting system consists of a rotating blade that works with a carrier that rotates in the opposite direction to produce a faster, more stable, and safer splitting process. The carrier is equipped with several sizes of areca nut placement pockets so that it can accommodate various fruit sizes. The tool frame is made compact and lightweight so that it is easy to move and use at harvest locations or processing areas.The use of a portable drive system and splitting mechanism increases work capacity, produces more uniform splits, reduces labor costs, and reduces the risk of injury compared to manual splitting methods.
