Abstract

This invention is about the description of the formula in the form of the amount / content of Amino Acids from Swamp Gourami (Trichogaster Trichopterus) from South Kalimantan for the Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus obtained from the latest fish meal processing. It was found that there are 18 types of amino acids with varying levels in swamp gourami meal. Amino acids in swamp gourami meal can support the use of natural ingredients as active ingredients in the treatment of diabetes mellitus so that it can optimize the biodiversity of South Kalimantan waters, especially swamp fish as a source of bioactives that support the development of innovative health products. So that in the future it can develop a formula or pharmaceutical preparation from gourami amino acids that can be applied in the form of capsules, tablets or other innovative preparations for antidiabetic therapy. It is known that the active compound that can have potential as an antidiabetic is a protein compound where the complex protein consists of amino acids.
