Description
This innovation relates to a support for a portable air conditioner pipe. As is well known, portable air conditioners have a pipe that must connect to the environment outside the room to be air-conditioned. Currently, this pipe, or rather its free end, either fits through a hole drilled in the window pane or is inserted, artificially, between the two window sashes. It is now known that air conditioners are typically used in homes almost exclusively at night! From the above, the current drawbacks to connecting the air conditioning duct to the outside environment are evident. In fact, it is necessary to drill a hole in the window glass, and of course, if you want to air condition other rooms, RAFFAELE BORDELLI Registration No. 533 - 2 of the home, it is also necessary to drill a hole in the glass of the windows of the other rooms to be air-conditioned. However, inserting the pipe between the two window sashes results in lower air conditioning efficiency because, with the window ajar, there is a direct connection between the room and the outside environment. In any case, it is clear that the window shutter must be raised, and therefore external lights (moonlight, streetlights, sunrise, etc.) can illuminate the room and therefore disturb some users. The aim of this innovation is to create a device for supporting the pipe of a portable air conditioner that is free from the above-mentioned drawbacks. According to the present innovation, a device for supporting an air conditioning pipe is created, characterised by the fact that it comprises a panel which rests on the windowsill of a window and on which the lower edge of a shutter of said window rests, said panel having a through hole engaged by the free end of said pipe. This innovation will now be described with RAFFAELE BORRELLI Registration No. 533 - 3 reference to the attached drawings, which illustrate a non-limiting example of implementation, in which: Figure 1 is a view of a device for supporting a portable air conditioner pipe; and Figure 2 is an enlarged-scale section taken along line II-II of Figure 1. With reference to figures 1 and 2, 1 indicates as a whole a device for supporting a pipe 2 of a portable air conditioner 3, where air conditioner refers to all those devices used to regulate, within a room, one or more quantities such as temperature, humidity level, etc.. The device 1 comprises a panel 4 which in use rests on the sill of a window 5 and on which a shutter 6 rests. The panel 4 has a width substantially equal to that of the shutter 6. With reference to figure 2, the panel 4 is made up of a central portion 7 in which a through hole 8 is made which is engaged by one end of the pipe 2, by a base portion 11 which rests on the windowsill and has an increasing thickness and in any case greater than that of the central portion 7, and by an upper portion 12 which has RAFFAELE BORRELLI Registration No. 533 - 4 a groove 13 engaged by the lower edge of the shutter 6. In use when you want to use the air conditioner 3, first take the panel 4 and place it on the windowsill 5, then close the shutter 6 so that the edge of the latter engages the groove 13, and finally insert the end of the pipe 2 into the hole 8. From the above, the advantages achieved with the implementation of this innovation are evident. In particular, the use of device 1 does not require any type of processing to be performed on a window component. Furthermore, the use of device 1 does not involve any direct communication between the room to be air-conditioned and the external environment, with a consequent reduction in air conditioning efficiency. It is clear that device 1 also involves the closing of the shutter, a closure that prevents the infiltration of light from the outside and which, together with the shape of panel 4, makes the positioning of panel 4 stable and safe. Finally, it is worth highlighting the ease and speed of installation of panel 4, its low cost, and the possibility of installing panel 4 in RAFFAELE BORRELLI Registration No. 533 - 5 correspondence of a window of another room making the air conditioner truly portable 3.
Claims
1. Device (1) for supporting a pipe (2) of an air conditioner (3), characterised by the fact that it comprises a panel (4) which rests on the sill of a window (5) and on which the lower edge of a shutter (6) of said window (5) rests, said panel (4) having a through hole (8) engaged by the free end of said pipe (2).
2. Device (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that said panel (4) has an upper portion (12) in which a groove (13) is obtained which engages with the lower edge of said shutter (6).
3. Device (1) according to claim 1 and / or 2, characterised in that said panel (4) comprises a base portion (11) resting on the windowsill having an increasing thickness.
4. Device (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that said panel (4) has a width substantially equal to that of said shutter (6).
