Vehicle information display image

Abstract

This image is projected onto the steering wheel of a vehicle by an image projection device. The image shown in the image diagram is projected so as to be superimposed on the steering wheel rim, as shown in the reference diagram showing the usage state, to inform the vehicle occupants of the vehicle's behavior and status. The image may also change color depending on the vehicle's status. For example, when the vehicle is in an autonomous driving state, the image may be projected in blue or green, and when the vehicle is switched from autonomous driving to manual driving, the image may be projected in red or yellow. The image may also be projected at an angle linked to the steering angle depending on the direction the vehicle is turning, and the image projection may be periodically changed (for example, flashing or fading) to attract the attention of the vehicle occupants.
