Liquid weighing tool

Abstract

This article is a liquid weighing tool consisting of a container and a base. Specifically, the container, which is approximately cylindrical, is fitted into a base with a disk-shaped bottom that maintains the container in an upright position. The surfaces of the body and base are coated with aluminum. Because this article is capable of dissipating static electricity through the aluminum surface, by placing the article on a conductive base, placing the liquid to be weighed, and then inserting a capillary tube for liquid collection, the container, the capillary tube, and the liquid are not affected by static electricity, allowing for accurate weighing. Because this article has the ability to prevent static buildup, it can be used as a tool for weighing liquids in X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF). The portion of this article for which design registration is sought is primarily the portion of the container, excluding the cap and neck.
