Abstract
This kitchen sponge can be used to remove dirt such as water and boil-over from around the sink or stove, and to wash dishes, and is made of absorbent material such as urethane, measuring 115 mm wide x 100 mm long x 30 mm thick, and its overall shape is based on a C-shaped curved magatama (curved jewel) made of jade, which is one of the ornaments of ancient Japan, with one end called the head, the inside of the curved part called the belly, and the outside called the back, and a tail coming out from the head jewel. A roughly circular hole is drilled in the approximate center of the round, bulging jewel, which penetrates from the front to the back, and the sponge can be supported by inserting a finger into this hole, which gives a sense of stability compared to when the entire sponge is gripped, and the sponge does not come off the hand even if the user does not continue to grip it, improving workability.
