Sealing material

Abstract

The present article is a sealing member that seals gaps between members arranged at intervals in a machine tool or the like. As shown in the reference perspective view showing the function of each part, the present article has a support plate and a sealing layer arranged around the support plate. The support plate and the sealing layer are bonded with an adhesive or the like. As shown in the reference view showing the usage state, the present article is fixed to a plate member such as a metal plate with screws or the like, and seals a gap between the plate member and a moving member that moves in a direction perpendicular to the plate member. As shown in the reference enlarged bottom view, the sealing layer is a cut pile layer including a large number of pile yarns.
