Vibration dampers

Abstract

This article is a vibration isolator that prevents vibrations from being transmitted from one object to another. As shown in the reference explanatory diagram showing the names of each part in use, this article can reduce the transmission of vibrations generated in the object by attaching the lower and upper plates, which are arranged to sandwich a coil spring and a viscoelastic member, to the object with fasteners such as screws. The lower and upper plates are provided with guide tabs and crimping tabs for attaching the coil spring. The part for which design registration is sought is a portion of the coil spring and portions of the lower and upper plates that support the coil spring and viscoelastic member, and as these are the parts that support the coil spring and viscoelastic member from above and below, they have functional unity.
