In addition, the fixing member has an upper installation portion arranged on the upper side of the roof of the building and a lower installation portion arranged on the underside of the roof, and the lower installation portion is provided with a guide portion that guides the end of the roof between the upper and lower installation portions, and the fixing member is configured to be fixed to the building by being guided by this guide portion and fastening the upper and lower installation portions with bolts and nuts to the roof arranged between the upper and lower installation portions (see reference diagram showing how the end of the roof is guiding into the guide portion, reference diagram showing the state where the end of the roof has been guided into the guide portion, and reference diagram showing the state where the gutter is supported on the gutter support member and the opening and closing portion is blocked). Furthermore, as shown in the reference diagram showing the state in which the item is temporarily fixed to the roof and the opening / closing part is open, this item can be temporarily fixed by fixing only the lower installation part to the roof, without fixing the upper installation part to the roof, and is configured so that in this temporarily fixed state, the opening / closing part can be opened and the rain gutter can be arranged and supported on the gutter support member.
