Abstract
This product is a positioning template AX used when fixing a shelf column PIL to a wall such as a plasterboard. This template AX is made by cutting a thin paper material into a vertical length longer than the shelf column PIL, and has a center line extending vertically at the left-right center position, a pair of guide lines extending vertically in agreement with the left-right width of the shelf column PIL, and an orthogonal line perpendicular to the center line at the upper position to specify a fixing reference point. When fixing the shelf column PIL to a wall, first, a push pin or the like is inserted into the upper end of the center line of the positioning template AX, and the template AX is hung on the wall. Next, a clip or the like is used to apply an appropriate weight to the lower end of the center line to ensure a vertical position, or dimensions are removed from the inside and outside corners of the wall, door and window frames, etc., where verticality is present, and a push pin or the like is inserted in an appropriate place on the center line to fix the vertical position. After that, the mounting member FIX (see the reference diagram (a) showing the usage state) with the two positioning pins PN inserted therein is temporarily fixed to the shelf column PIL. The shelf column PIL is a metal tool with a square U-shaped cross section, with multiple square holes formed at a predetermined pitch, and a round hole formed between the upper and lower square holes at the appropriate position. The mounting member FIX is also provided with a substantially cylindrical protrusion PR with a built-in screw groove, two positioning holes through which the positioning pins PN pass in a direction perpendicular to the wall, and five inclined holes through which the fixing pins pass in a direction inclined to the wall. When temporarily fixing the mounting member FIX to the shelf column PIL, the mounting member FIX is housed in the shelf column PIL with the positioning pins PN, PN inserted in the positioning holes, and then the fixing screw SC is screwed into the screw groove of the protrusion PR through the round hole of the shelf column PIL (see the reference diagram (b) showing the usage state). The mounting members FIX are temporarily fixed to multiple locations on the shelf column PIL, but in each position, the positioning pins PN, PN are exposed from two adjacent rectangular holes located vertically. The shelf column PIL in this state is pressed against the template AX, which is fixed in a vertical position, to align the outline of the shelf column PIL with the guide line. Then, with the shelf column positioned vertically, the positioning pin PN is inserted into the wall to position and fix the mounting members FIX to the wall. This operation is performed for all mounting members FIX, and then all fixing screws SC are removed and the shelf column PIL is removed from the wall. Then, only the multiple mounting members FIX in the positioned state remain on the wall.In this state, the template AX is pulled sideways so that no template AX remains on the wall. After that, the positioning pin PN is driven to the final position, and the fixing pin is driven into the inclined hole of the mounting member FIX. Finally, the shelf column PIL is placed over the mounting member FIX, and the fixing screw SC is screwed into the screw groove of the protruding portion PR to complete the installation of the shelf column PIL. By using this product, accurate positioning is possible, and the fixing pin is driven directly into the mounting member FIX in the exposed state without going through the shelf column PIL, making the pin driving work easy and avoiding work errors. Moreover, the positioning pin PN can be driven into the mounting member FIX in the exposed state, and the required number of fixing pins can be driven into each inclined hole, so the required mounting strength can be achieved. For example, when a pair of left and right shelf columns are attached to a plaster board, the shelf board can be held by a pair of plate-shaped brackets supported by the square holes of the shelf columns. Also, a hanger or the like can be hung from a bracket supported by one shelf post, and in either case, by using a shelf post that corresponds to this product, all of the square holes can be used. Furthermore, by using this product, the above-mentioned installation work and installation strength can be achieved regardless of the height of the square U-shaped shelf post PIL.
