Bushing

Abstract

This article is a bushing used to electrically connect an instrument transformer that monitors the voltage and current in the gas-insulated switchgear to the gas-insulated switchgear while penetrating a bulkhead such as a wall or a tank. This article includes a central conductor that passes through the center, an insulator provided around the central conductor, a first terminal for connecting to the gas-insulated switchgear, a second terminal for connecting to the current transformer, and an electric field relaxation conductor that relaxes the electric field against the second terminal.
