Abstract

This article relates to a bath mat. The bath mat of this article is a rectangular sheet-like body as shown in the front view, rear view, right side view, left side view, top view, and bottom view. Its vertical dimension is approximately 45 centimeters, and its horizontal dimension is approximately 59 centimeters. And the thickness is about 1.5 millimeters, which is an extremely thin form compared to a general bath mat. This thin form appears in the right side view, left side view, top view, and bottom view. The fact that the thickness is extremely thin compared to the vertical and horizontal dimensions is prominently shown in the reference three-dimensional view for representing the thickness of this article and the enlarged view of the C-D reference part. The bath mat of this article is a laminate of a polyester pile fabric, a cotton fabric, and a laminated resin layer. The polyester pile fabric is in the form of a pile using polyester texturized yarn as shown in the front view and the enlarged view of the A-A part, and forms the front side of the bath mat of this article. The laminated resin layer is made of polyurethane resin and has a smooth form as shown in the rear view and the enlarged view of the B-B part, and forms the back side of the bath mat of this article. The bath mat of this article receives water droplets and the like from the human body during use, and these water droplets and the like penetrate through the polyester pile fabric on the front side and reach the cotton fabric under the polyester pile fabric. The cotton fabric quickly absorbs moisture by capillary action and diffuses the absorbed moisture in the surface direction. For this reason, the front side has quick-drying properties. The laminated resin layer on the back side exhibits a waterproof function so that the moisture diffused by the cotton fabric does not transfer to the floor surface. As a result, the bath mat of this article, as described above, although its thickness is about 1.5 millimeters and is extremely thin compared to a general bath mat, fully performs the function of a bath mat.
