Steps for a Function Recovery Support Device

Abstract

This article is a step for a function recovery support device that supports function recovery in cases where there is a disorder in the lower limbs. This article is supported on the frame so as to be vertically swingable to guide the user's ankle to plantar flexion and dorsiflexion, or further swingable laterally with respect to the frame. A resistance member for applying a load for the function recovery exercise will be detachably attached to the vertical swing mechanism of this article. The support member protrudes from the surface of the pedal, locally presses the sole of the foot during the function recovery exercise, prevents slipping of the foot, and massages the user's instep etc. according to the hardness of the material. The support member is fixed to the surface (fixing surface) of the pedal so that its position can be adjusted by adhesion etc. This article can also be used by wearing a top band for the convenience of guiding the ankle to dorsiflexion.
