Ruler

Abstract

This article is a ruler that can visually and clearly recognize length. Scales are printed on the ruler. As can be seen in the front view and the rear view, the scale starts from 0 mm, with the 1-mm scale being the shortest, and from the 2-mm scale up to 5 mm, it is sequentially colored in a stepped manner so that the scale can be recognized in relation to the colored length. Next, starting from 6 mm, it is similarly colored in a stepped manner up to 10 mm. Since the scales of this article are colored with different lengths every 1 mm, compared with the conventional equally spaced scales, the scale can be recognized quickly and reliably. In the front view and the rear view, the scales are colored in black, but coloring them in a stepped manner with colors makes them easier to recognize.
