Temporary fixture for connecting earth retaining members

Abstract

This article is a temporary fastener for connecting earth retaining members, such as a liner plate having a flange with a plurality of holes formed at the end of a corrugated steel plate, when connecting earth retaining members vertically in the construction of cylindrical wall structures such as vertical shafts, sump wells, and underwater temporary cutoffs. As shown in the reference diagram showing the state before temporary fastening, insert the lower protrusion of this article into the hole of the flange of the lower earth retaining member. Move this article and the lower earth retaining member in the forward direction in such a state, and as shown in the reference diagram showing the state after temporary fastening, insert the upper protrusion of this article into the hole of the flange of the upper earth retaining member. Thereby, the lower earth retaining member can be temporarily fastened to the upper earth retaining member.
