Abstract

This article is a desk (standing desk) that can be used while the user stands. This article has a pedestal, a telescopic column installed upward from the central part of the upper surface of the pedestal, a top plate part fixed to the upper part of the column and used as a table, and a transparent cylindrical cover provided between the pedestal and the top plate part. The cylindrical cover is made of, for example, plastic or glass. The cylindrical cover is divided into an upper cylindrical cover and a lower cylindrical cover, and the lower part of the upper cylindrical cover is fitted with a fitting part provided on the upper part of the lower cylindrical cover. The upper part of the upper cylindrical cover is fixed to a top plate fixing part provided on the lower part of the top plate part, and the lower part of the lower cylindrical cover is fixed to a pedestal fixing part provided on the upper part of the pedestal. When the column is extended from this state, the top plate part and the upper cylindrical cover move upward, the fitting between the upper cylindrical cover and the lower cylindrical cover is released, and the cylindrical cover is in a state of being separated vertically. By putting, for example, soil in the barrel-shaped part formed by the pedestal and the lower cylindrical cover and sowing plant seeds, plants can be germinated and grown, and the user can observe the germination and growth of plants while using this article as a desk. By installing, for example, an LED light as lighting on the bottom surface of the top plate part, light can be applied to the soil and plants. By installing wheels at the lower part of the pedestal, this article can be made movable.
