Masher

Abstract

This product is a masher primarily used for cooking ingredients. The masher functions as a masher for mashing ingredients, and also functions as a spoon for scooping and stirring ingredients. The masher's handle is twisted (see Reference Oblique Figure 2). This shape makes it easier to grip the handle when mashing. Furthermore, fitting the thumb into the twisted part of the handle makes it easier to use as a spoon (see Reference Figure 1, showing the state in use). Unlike typical mashers with holes on the mashing surface, the tip of this masher is W-shaped (see left side view). The W-shaped mashing surface of this masher makes it easier to apply force directly downward, making it easier to mash ingredients. Furthermore, the lack of holes on the mashing surface allows for mashing ingredients without clogging.
