Abstract

The socks according to the present design have a low-stretch section around the heel that is knitted with a different yarn from the main body and has lower stretch than the main body. The low-stretch section is made up of independent V-, N-, and M-shaped patterns that form a herringbone pattern. These low-stretch sections are designed to prevent the heel from slipping or slipping off when the socks are worn and walking, and to provide a comfortable fit without excessive tightness.
