Medical immobilization material

Abstract

This product is a fixation material that is applied to and fixed in place on an affected area such as an elbow, knee, ankle, wrist, etc., due to a fracture or ligament injury. When in use, as shown in Reference Figure 1, which shows an example of a state of use, the fixation material is molded to fit the shape of the affected area, inserted into and held in an orthosis or the like that is to be attached to the affected area, and then, as shown in Reference Figures 2 and 3, which also show an example of a state of use, the fixation material is attached to the affected area together with the orthosis or the like and fixed thereto.
