Abstract

The article in question is a "duct." This duct is a pipe for transporting air or other gases, for example, connected to a cooler (not shown) to allow the flow of cooled air (not shown) to pass through (see reference diagram showing the state of use). The duct in question has a "Y-shaped, axisymmetric overall shape." Three corrugated hose members, each with a circular cross section and approximately the same length, extend radially in three directions from a Y-shaped joint member located in the center of the duct (see front view). At the end of the three corrugated hose members that form the axis of symmetry of the overall shape, a truncated cone-shaped connecting member (see left side view) with a circular opening is provided so that the circular opening is parallel to the circular cross section of the corrugated hose member. The remaining two corrugated hose members are symmetrically arranged to branch into two, and each has a deflector with an inclined surface (see right side view) connected to the end. The deflector has two openings at right angles to each other, allowing the airflow to change direction at a right angle.
