Electrode holder rotation jig

Abstract

The design article is an electrode holder rotation jig that rotates an electrode holder holding multiple welding electrodes around an axis to position the desired electrodes at the welding position. The electrode holder is held at one end of a cylindrical case and has a disk or triangular disk shape with multiple electrode mounting portions equally spaced around its periphery. The electrode holder and electrode holder rotation jig are attached to a shaft that passes through the cylindrical case. A cylinder unit is connected to an arm that protrudes radially from the electrode holder rotation jig. By driving this cylinder unit to rotate the electrode holder rotation jig around its axis via the arm, the electrode holder fixed to the electrode holder rotation jig also rotates, thereby positioning the desired electrodes at the welding position as described above.
