Abstract

The product of the design in question is a door latch that is installed in the front door of an automobile and engages and disengages with a striker fixed to the vehicle body. The main body case houses an electric actuator that operates a locking / unlocking mechanism that can be switched between locked and unlocked states in response to the operation of a key cylinder, and can be switched to the unlocked state in response to the operation of a door handle. As shown in the front view, this automobile door latch has a connection part with the key cylinder on the upper left side and a lever slightly below the middle part on the left side.
