Gas and carbon monoxide alarm with light

Abstract

The article relating to the present design is a battery-powered gas and carbon monoxide alarm that is suspended and installed in any location. As shown in the front and rear reference drawings illustrating each part, the article has a handle on the top side, a lighting unit on the bottom side, and a ventilation hole on the front side. It may also have an operating unit and indicator lamp on the right side and a battery cover on the rear side. The ventilation hole of the article takes in ambient air from the shaded area in the front reference drawing illustrating each part, and measures the carbon monoxide concentration of the intake air with an internal gas sensor (not shown). The lighting unit of the article is translucent and has an LED (not shown) inside, which emits light or flashes to alert the user when the carbon monoxide concentration of the ambient air exceeds a threshold. The operating unit of the article is a slide switch that switches the alarm function and lighting function of the article on and off. The indicator lamp of the article lights up and turns off according to the on / off status of the alarm function and lighting function.
