Blocks for assembling furniture

Abstract

This product is a modular furniture assembly block that can be used to manufacture desired furniture such as tables, shelves, chairs, indoor pet houses, and ornaments. This modular furniture assembly block has a concave block and a convex block, and is used by fitting or unfitting the two together. When fitted together, it is configured so that other modular furniture assembly blocks can be connected to each of the six sides, similar to the present design. Furthermore, this modular furniture assembly block can be used in separate parts, for example, when the concave block and convex block cannot be fitted together from the top / bottom or left / right sides in the modular furniture being manufactured, as shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2 which show the state of use. Specifically, as shown in the exploded perspective view, this modular furniture assembly block can be made by fitting the four protrusions on the joint surface of the convex block into the four recesses on the joint surface of the concave block, thereby fitting the concave block and convex block together to form a single modular furniture assembly block, as shown in Reference Figure 1 which shows the state of use. To release the engagement between the concave and convex blocks, a flathead screwdriver is inserted into one of the two square holes (horizontal holes in the CC cross-sectional view) on the right and left sides of the concave block, respectively. By pressing the return end of the convex part of the convex block with the screwdriver, the engagement is released, thereby releasing the engagement between the concave and convex blocks. Furthermore, adjacent assembly furniture blocks can be connected using a connecting member. As shown in the "Reference Plan View of the Connecting Member," "EE Cross-Sectional View," and "FF Cross-Sectional View," this connecting member consists of a cylindrical body with cross-shaped holes on both sides and a locking rod into which either the vertical or horizontal holes constituting the cross-shaped holes can be selected for insertion. When the cylindrical body, with the locking rods selected and inserted into both sides, is inserted into the central hole of the assembly furniture block and the cylindrical body is rotated, the connecting member is locked to the assembly furniture block by the locking rod, similar to the present design. On the other hand, rotating the cylindrical body in the opposite direction releases the lock between the connecting member and the assembly furniture block. This product allows for the creation of furniture in a desired form, such as "Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use," by connecting modular furniture blocks with such connecting members.
