Abstract

The article relating to this design is a snap hook for connecting two belts to form a single long belt. The article relating to this design comprises a suspension part, an adjustment part, and a rotating part that rotatably connects the suspension part and the adjustment part to each other, as shown in the reference diagram showing the names of the parts. The adjustment part has a folded part and a protruding part. The protruding part is located on the opposite side of the suspension part from the folded part and protrudes toward the folded part. The adjustment part is provided with a first opening located on the opposite side of the protruding part from the folded part and a second opening located between the folded part and the protruding part. As shown in the reference diagram showing the state of use, the suspension part is connected to one end of one of the two belts. The adjustment part is connected to the other of the two belts. The first opening and the second opening are each for passing the other belt through. The folded portion and the protruding portion can contact the other belt passing through the first and second openings, respectively, when tension is applied to the other belt, thereby restricting the movement of the other belt relative to the adjustment portion. The folded portion and the protruding portion allow the other belt passing through the second opening to move relative to the adjustment portion when no tension is applied to the other belt. The adjustment portion can adjust the length of the portion of the other belt that forms part of a long belt when no tension is applied to the other belt passing through the second opening.
