Abstract

This product is a packaging container formed by pressing a sheet-like blank shown in the reference diagram. As the blank shown in the reference diagram is folded in mountain folds along the dashed lines and valley folds along the dashed lines, the blank is heated while being pressed during molding, causing the synthetic resin coating layer on the surface of the blank to melt and the blank to be compressed, maintaining its shape as a packaging container. Furthermore, after the outer edge of the blank is rolled to have a roughly circular cross-section, the outer edge is pressed from above and below, forming a rolled edge portion at the edge of the container with a roughly oval cross-section and flat portions on the top and bottom surfaces, thereby improving overall strength and stably maintaining the shape of the container. When a lid sheet material for sealing this product is adhered to the rolled edge portion, the flat portion formed on the top surface of the rolled edge portion improves adhesion. The rolled edge portion with a roughly oval cross-section has improved strength from the direction parallel to the horizontal (lateral direction), making it suitable for wrap packaging.
