[0001] The present invention relates to a combustion device that burns fuel oil. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, this type of device has been known as the Bunsen type, in which kerosene is first heated by an electric heater and then sprayed out of a nozzle, and the gas mixed with air taken in by natural aspiration is burned in a combustion tube (see, for example, Patent Document 1). There are also pump spray types in which the vaporizer is heated, air and kerosene are fed into it, and the vaporized mixed gas is burned with a burner on top, and a pot type in which kerosene is poured into the pot inside the combustion tube, heated directly with a heater, and the naturally vaporized kerosene is burned (see, for example, Patent Document 2). [0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2006-266572 A [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 10-332145 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] In this conventional system, if a ceramic heater or PTC heater, which has the characteristic of having a low resistance value at room temperature, is used as the heater, a large inrush current flows when operation starts, and power consumption momentarily reaches 1000W. This is not a problem when a domestic commercial power source is used as the main power source. However, when attempting to use a portable storage type power supply device as a power source in the outdoors or during a prolonged power outage due to a disaster, etc., portable storage type power supplies have output powers of, for example, 200W or 500W. When such a 200W or 500W storage type power supply device is used, a current greater than the rated current flows through the storage type power supply device, which activates the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device and stops the output of the storage type power supply, causing the combustion unit to be unable to operate. [Means for solving the problem]
[0005] In order to solve the above problems, in claim 1 of the present invention, a combustion unit having a vaporization unit that vaporizes fuel oil, The resistance becomes low below room temperature. In a combustion machine comprising an vaporizer heating means consisting of a heater for heating the vaporizer section, a fuel oil supply means for supplying fuel to the vaporizer section, an vaporizer temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the vaporizer section, and a control unit for controlling combustion in the combustion section, a suppression means is provided that can suppress the voltage applied to the vaporizer heating means, and the control unit suppresses the voltage applied to the vaporizer heating means from the time when current begins to be applied to the vaporizer heating means until the temperature detected by the vaporizer temperature detection means reaches a predetermined specified temperature, and relaxes the suppression of the voltage applied to the vaporizer heating means when the temperature detected by the vaporizer temperature detection means reaches the predetermined specified temperature.
[0006] In claim 2, a combustion unit having a vaporizing unit for vaporizing fuel oil; The resistance becomes low below room temperature. In a combustion machine comprising an evaporation section heating means consisting of a heater for heating the evaporation section, a fuel oil supply means for supplying fuel to the evaporation section, an evaporation section temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the evaporation section, and a control unit for controlling combustion in the combustion section, the machine is provided with a evaporation section heating means resistance value detection unit for detecting the resistance value of the evaporation section heating means, and a suppression means capable of suppressing the voltage applied to the evaporation section heating means, and the control unit suppresses the voltage applied to the evaporation section heating means from the time when current is started to be passed through the evaporation section heating means until the detected resistance value of the evaporation section heating means resistance value detection unit reaches a predetermined specified resistance value, and relaxes the suppression of the voltage applied to the evaporation section heating means when the detected resistance value of the evaporation section heating means resistance value detection unit reaches the predetermined specified resistance value.
[0007] In addition, in claim 3, a combustion unit having a vaporization unit for vaporizing fuel oil, The resistance becomes low below room temperature. In a combustion machine comprising an evaporation section heating means consisting of a heater for heating the evaporation section, a fuel oil supply means for supplying fuel to the evaporation section, an evaporation section temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the evaporation section, and a control section for controlling combustion in the combustion section, a timer section for measuring time and a suppression means capable of suppressing the voltage applied to the evaporation section heating means are provided, and the control section starts measuring time for the timer section when current is started to be passed through the evaporation section heating means, suppresses the applied voltage to the evaporation section heating means until the time measured by the timer section reaches a predetermined specified time, and relaxes the suppression of the applied voltage to the evaporation section heating means when the time measured by the timer section reaches the predetermined specified time.
[0008] In claim 4, the control unit suppresses the voltage applied to the vaporizer heating means when it is determined that the input power source is other than a commercial power source.
[0009] In claim 5, the suppression means suppresses the voltage applied to the vaporization section heating means by controlling the phase of the voltage. Effect of the Invention
[0010] According to claim 1 of this invention, the voltage applied to the vaporization section heating means is suppressed from the time when current starts to flow to the vaporization section heating means until the temperature detected by the vaporization section temperature detection means reaches a predetermined specified temperature, and once the temperature detected by the vaporization section temperature detection means reaches the predetermined specified temperature, the suppression of the voltage applied to the vaporization section heating means is relaxed. Therefore, the applied voltage is maintained until the temperature of the vaporization section heating means rises and reaches the predetermined temperature, thereby suppressing inrush current and preventing sudden increases in power consumption, and a storage-type power supply device with low output power can be used.
[0011] Furthermore, when the temperature of the vaporizer rises and reaches a predetermined temperature, the resistance value of the vaporizer heating means becomes sufficiently high, so that even if the suppression of the applied voltage is relaxed, power consumption does not increase instantaneously, and the temperature rise after reaching the predetermined temperature can be accelerated, thereby shortening the time until combustion begins.
[0012] In addition, according to claim 2, the voltage applied to the vaporization section heating means is suppressed from the time when current starts to flow to the vaporization section heating means until the detected resistance value of the vaporization section heating means resistance value detection unit reaches a predetermined specified resistance value, and when the detected resistance value of the vaporization section heating means resistance value detection unit reaches the predetermined specified resistance value, the suppression of the voltage applied to the vaporization section heating means is relaxed. Therefore, the applied voltage is suppressed until the temperature of the vaporization section heating means rises and the detected resistance value of the vaporization section heating means resistance value detection unit reaches the predetermined resistance value, thereby suppressing inrush current and preventing momentary increases in power consumption, and a storage-type power supply device with low output power can be used.
[0013] Furthermore, when the temperature of the vaporizer rises and the detected resistance value of the vaporizer heating means resistance value detection section reaches a predetermined resistance value, the resistance value of the vaporizer heating means becomes sufficiently high, so that even if the suppression of the applied voltage is relaxed, power consumption does not increase instantaneously, and the temperature rise after reaching the predetermined temperature can be accelerated, thereby shortening the time until combustion begins.
[0014] In addition, according to claim 3, when current is started to flow to the vaporization section heating means, timing of the timer section is started, and the applied voltage to the vaporization section heating means is suppressed until the time counted by the timer section reaches a predetermined time, and when the time counted by the timer section reaches the predetermined time, the suppression of the applied voltage to the vaporization section heating means is relaxed. Therefore, until the temperature of the vaporization section heating means rises and the time counted by the timer section reaches the predetermined time, the applied voltage is suppressed to suppress inrush current and prevent sudden increases in power consumption, and a storage-type power supply device with low output power can be used.
[0015] Furthermore, according to claim 4, when the control unit determines that the input power source is other than a commercial power source, it suppresses the voltage applied to the vaporization section heating means. Therefore, even if a portable storage type power supply device with a small output power is used, a current greater than the rated current does not flow to the storage type power supply device, and it is possible to prevent the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device from activating, stopping the output of the storage type power supply device and making it impossible to operate the combustion unit.
[0016] Furthermore, according to claim 5, the suppression means suppresses the voltage applied to the vaporization section heating means by phase control. For example, by applying a 1 / 4 wave voltage when starting to pass current through the vaporization section heating means, the applied voltage is suppressed until the temperature of the vaporization section heating means rises and the timer section's measured time reaches a predetermined time, thereby suppressing inrush current and preventing sudden increases in power consumption, and a storage-type power supply device with low output power can be used.
[0017] Furthermore, when the temperature of the vaporizer heating means rises and the timer unit's measured time reaches a predetermined time, the resistance value of the vaporizer heating means becomes sufficiently high, and even if the applied voltage is gradually and slowly suppressed from 1 / 4 wave to half wave, 3 / 4 wave, and full wave, power consumption does not increase instantaneously, and the temperature rise after reaching the predetermined temperature can be accelerated, thereby shortening the time until combustion begins. [0018] [Figure 1] 1 is a cross-sectional view of a combustion unit according to an embodiment of the present invention. [Diagram 2]FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the burner and vaporizer. [Diagram 3] FIG. [Figure 4] FIG. [Diagram 5] FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing ignition operation control according to another embodiment of the present invention. [Figure 6] FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing ignition operation control according to another embodiment of the present invention. [Figure 7] FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a combustion unit according to another embodiment of the present invention.
[0019] Next, a first embodiment to which the present invention is applied will be described with reference to the drawings. Reference numeral 1 denotes the main body of the Bunsen-type combustion unit, 2 denotes a burner which is the combustion section that burns a mixture of vaporized liquid fuel and air to generate combustion gas, 3 denotes a combustion chamber main body which covers the flame of burner 2 and discharges the combustion gas upward, 4 denotes a combustion chamber heat shield which is provided to cover the combustion chamber main body 3, 5 denotes a blower which takes in air from air intake 6 into the equipment main body 1, 7 denotes a hot air passage which is formed between the combustion chamber main body 3 and the combustion chamber heat shield 4 and which mixes the combustion gas with the air from the blower 5 and directs it as hot air to the front of the equipment main body 1, and 8 denotes a hot air outlet for releasing hot air into the room.
[0020] Also, as shown in Figure 2, 9 is an electromagnetic pump, which is a fuel supply means provided on the top of an oil tray 10 in which liquid fuel (kerosene) is stored, 11 is a vaporization device consisting of a vaporization section 13 that heats and vaporizes the liquid fuel supplied from the electromagnetic pump 9 using a heater 12, which is a vaporization section heating means, and a nozzle section 16 that is opened and closed by an opening and closing lever 15 that is movable by a solenoid 14, and 17 is a vaporization section temperature detection means that detects the temperature of the vaporization section 13. The heater 12 is a heater having a low resistance value at room temperature or lower, such as a PTC heater or a ceramic heater. Furthermore, reference numeral 18 denotes a burner mixing tube, which mixes the vaporized gas from the vaporizer 11 with primary air to produce a mixed gas, and 19 denotes an ignition device for igniting this mixed gas at the nozzle portion 20 of the burner 2.
[0021] Reference numeral 21 denotes an operation unit, which is provided with an operation switch 22 for instructing the start and stop of operation, and a power source selection switch 23 for setting whether the input power source is a commercial power source or an easily portable storage type power source device. Reference numeral 24 denotes a control unit which controls the operation of the combustion unit and is mainly composed of a microcomputer. Reference numeral 25 denotes a suppression means capable of suppressing the voltage applied to the heater 12. The suppression means comprises a zero-cross detection circuit 25a and a triac 25b and suppresses the voltage applied to the heater 12 by phase control.
[0022] Next, the ignition operation of this combustion unit will be explained with reference to the flow chart of FIG. First, the operation switch 22 is turned on (S1), and the commercial power source is selected with the power source selection switch 23 (S2). A full-wave voltage is applied to the heater 12 of the vaporizer 11 to energize it (S3), and the vaporizer section 13 is heated by the heat generated by the heater 12.
[0023] At this time, the control unit 24 determines that the input power source is a commercial power source and applies a full-wave voltage to the heater 12. In addition, since the heater 12 is a heater that has a low resistance value below room temperature, such as a PTC heater or ceramic heater, it becomes hot during combustion and has a high resistance value, and the power consumption is about 200 W. However, when power begins to flow, since the resistance value is below room temperature and low, a large inrush current flows and the power consumption momentarily reaches 1000 W. However, since the input power source is a commercial power source, the power supply to the heater 12 continues without being interrupted.
[0024] Then, when the temperature detected by the vaporization section temperature detection means 17 rises to the vaporization temperature, which is the temperature at which the vaporization section 13 can vaporize the liquid fuel (S4), the electromagnetic pump 9 starts and the liquid fuel is sent into the vaporization section 13 (S5), and the liquid fuel is heated and vaporized into a vaporized gas.
[0025] In addition, simultaneously with the start of the electromagnetic pump 9, the blower 5 is driven and current is applied to the solenoid 14, causing the opening / closing lever 15 to open the nozzle portion 16 (S6), and the vaporized gas from the vaporization section 13 is sprayed from the nozzle portion 16 toward the burner mixing tube 18. Then, primary air is supplied to the burner mixing tube 18 by the ejection force of this vaporized gas to form a mixed gas, which is ignited by the ignition device 19 at the nozzle portion 20 of the burner 2 (S7) and combusted (S8).
[0026] Furthermore, when a power source other than commercial power is selected with power source selection switch 23 at (S2), control unit 24 determines that the input power source is an easily portable storage type power source device, and phase controls the voltage applied to heater 12 using suppression means 25 (S9). A 1 / 4 wave voltage is applied to heater 12 of vaporizer 11 to energize it (S10), and vaporizer unit 13 is heated by the heat generated by heater 12.
[0027] When current begins to flow, the heater 12 has a low resistance value, but the voltage applied to the heater 12 is phase-controlled to 1 / 4 wave by the suppression means 25, so no large inrush current flows and even if the power consumption increases instantaneously, it falls below the rated output power of the storage type power supply device. As a result, the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device is activated and the output of the storage type power supply device is not stopped, and current continues to flow to the heater 12.
[0028] Then, when the temperature detected by the vaporization section temperature detection means 17 rises to a predetermined first specified temperature (S11), the control section 24 determines that the temperature rises due to the passage of current, the resistance value of the heater 12 increases, and even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 1 / 4 wave to 1 / 2 wave, a large inrush current will not flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will not be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, and changes the voltage applied to the heater 12 from 1 / 4 wave to 1 / 2 wave by the suppression means 25 (S12).
[0029] Then, when the temperature detected by the vaporization section temperature detection means 17 rises to a second predetermined temperature which is higher than the predetermined first predetermined temperature (S13), the control section 24 determines that the temperature will rise due to the passage of current and the resistance value of the heater 12 will further rise, and that even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 1 / 2 wave to 3 / 4 wave, a large inrush current will not flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will not be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, and changes the voltage applied to the heater 12 from 1 / 2 wave to 3 / 4 wave by the suppression means 25 (S14).
[0030] Then, when the temperature detected by the vaporization section temperature detection means 17 further rises to a third predetermined temperature which is higher than the predetermined second predetermined temperature (S15), the control section 24 determines that the temperature will rise due to the passage of current, the resistance value of the heater 12 will further rise, and even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 3 / 4 wave to full wave, a large inrush current will not flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will not be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, and therefore ends the phase control by the suppression means 25 of the voltage applied to the heater 12 (S16) and returns to (S3).
[0031] As described above, even if an easily portable storage type power supply device is used as an input power source for a combustion machine that uses a heater 12 that has a low resistance value at room temperature or below, such as a PTC heater or ceramic heater, when the temperature of the heater 12 is low and has a low resistance value, the suppression means 25 suppresses the voltage applied to the heater 12, so that no large inrush current flows when current begins to flow to the heater 12, and even if the power consumption increases momentarily, it will be below the rated output power of the storage type power supply device, so that the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will operate and the output of the storage type power supply device will not stop, and power can continue to be supplied to the heater 12.
[0032] Furthermore, the suppression means 25 controls the phase of the voltage applied to the heater 12, changing it from ¼ wave to ½ wave, ¾ wave, and then to a full wave voltage, i.e., gradually decreasing the conduction angle, thereby making it possible to relax the suppression of the applied voltage while preventing a large inrush current from flowing.
[0033] Next, a second embodiment to which the present invention is applied will be described with reference to the drawings. In the second embodiment, a vaporizer heating means resistance value detection unit 26 for detecting the resistance value of the heater 12 is provided, and the ignition operation of this combustion unit will be described with reference to the flow chart of FIG.
[0034] Incidentally, the control when the commercial power source is selected by the power source selection switch 23 is the same as in the first embodiment, and (S1) to (S8) in the flowchart of FIG. 5 are the same as (S1) to (S8) in the flowchart of FIG. 4, so the description thereof will be omitted.
[0035] Therefore, when a power source other than commercial power is selected with power source selection switch 23 in (S2) of Figure 5, control unit 24 determines that the input power source is an easily portable storage type power source device, and phase controls the voltage applied to heater 12 using suppression means 25 (S17). A 1 / 4 wave voltage is applied to heater 12 of vaporizer 11 to energize it (S18), and vaporizer unit 13 is heated by the heat generated by heater 12.
[0036] When current begins to flow, the heater 12 has a low resistance value, but the voltage applied to the heater 12 is phase-controlled to 1 / 4 wave by the suppression means 25, so no large inrush current flows and even if the power consumption increases instantaneously, it falls below the rated output power of the storage type power supply device. As a result, the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device is activated and the output of the storage type power supply device is not stopped, and current continues to flow to the heater 12.
[0037] Then, when the detected resistance value of the vaporization section heating means resistance value detection section 26 rises to a predetermined first set resistance value (S19), the control section 24 determines that the temperature rises due to the passage of current, the resistance value of the heater 12 rises, and even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 1 / 4 wave to 1 / 2 wave, a large inrush current will not flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will not be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, and changes the voltage applied to the heater 12 from 1 / 4 wave to 1 / 2 wave by the suppression means 25 (S20).
[0038] Then, when the detected resistance value of the vaporization section heating means resistance value detection section 26 rises to a second set resistance value higher than a predetermined first set resistance value (S21), the control section 24 determines that the temperature will rise due to the passage of current, the resistance value of the heater 12 will further rise, and even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 1 / 2 wave to 3 / 4 wave, a large inrush current will not flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will not be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, and changes the voltage applied to the heater 12 from 1 / 2 wave to 3 / 4 wave by the suppression means 25 (S22).
[0039] Then, when the detected resistance value of the vaporization section heating means resistance value detection section 26 further rises to a third set resistance value higher than the predetermined second set resistance value (S23), the control section 24 determines that the temperature will rise due to the passage of current, the resistance value of the heater 12 will further rise, and even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 3 / 4 wave to full wave, no large inrush current will flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, and then ends the phase control by the suppression means 25 of the voltage applied to the heater 12 (S24) and returns to (S3).
[0040] As described above, even if an easily portable storage type power supply device is used as an input power source for a combustion machine that uses a heater 12 that has a low resistance value at room temperature or below, such as a PTC heater or ceramic heater, when the temperature of the heater 12 is low and has a low resistance value, the suppression means 25 suppresses the voltage applied to the heater 12, so that no large inrush current flows when current begins to flow to the heater 12, and even if the power consumption increases momentarily, it will be below the rated output power of the storage type power supply device, so that the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will operate and the output of the storage type power supply device will not stop, and power can continue to be supplied to the heater 12.
[0041] Furthermore, the suppression means 25 controls the phase of the voltage applied to the heater 12, changing it from ¼ wave to ½ wave, ¾ wave, and then to a full wave voltage, i.e., gradually decreasing the conduction angle, thereby making it possible to relax the suppression of the applied voltage while preventing a large inrush current from flowing.
[0042] Next, a third embodiment to which the present invention is applied will be described with reference to the drawings. In the third embodiment, a timer unit 27 for measuring time is provided, and the ignition operation of this combustion unit will be described with reference to the flow chart of FIG.
[0043] Incidentally, the control when the commercial power source is selected by the power source selection switch 23 is the same as in the first embodiment, and (S1) to (S8) in the flowchart of FIG. 6 are the same as (S1) to (S8) in the flowchart of FIG. 4, so the description thereof will be omitted.
[0044] Therefore, when a power source other than commercial power is selected with power source selection switch 23 in (S2) of Figure 6, control unit 24 determines that the input power source is an easily portable storage type power source device, and phase controls the voltage applied to heater 12 using suppression means 25 (S25). A 1 / 4 wave voltage is applied to heater 12 of vaporizer 11 to energize it (S26). Heater 12 generates heat to heat vaporizer 13, and timer unit 27 begins timing (S27).
[0045] When current begins to flow, the heater 12 has a low resistance value, but the voltage applied to the heater 12 is phase-controlled to 1 / 4 wave by the suppression means 25, so no large inrush current flows and even if the power consumption increases instantaneously, it falls below the rated output power of the storage type power supply device. As a result, the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device is activated and the output of the storage type power supply device is not stopped, and current continues to flow to the heater 12.
[0046] Then, when the time measured by the timer unit 27 reaches a predetermined first set time (S28), the control unit 24 determines that the temperature rises due to the passage of current and the resistance value of the heater 12 increases, and that even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 1 / 4 wave to 1 / 2 wave, a large inrush current will not flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will not be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, and changes the voltage applied to the heater 12 from 1 / 4 wave to 1 / 2 wave by the suppression means 25 (S29).
[0047] Then, the control unit 24 resets the time measurement of the timer unit 27 and starts measuring time again (S30). Then, when the time measured by the timer unit 27 reaches a predetermined second set time (S31), it is determined that the resistance value of the heater 12 will further increase due to the rise in temperature caused by the passage of current, and that even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 1 / 2 wave to 3 / 4 wave, a large inrush current will not flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will not be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, so the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 1 / 2 wave to 3 / 4 wave by the suppression means 25 (S32).
[0048] Then, the control unit 24 resets the time measurement of the timer unit 27 and starts measuring time again (S33). Then, the control unit 24 determines that the time measured by the timer unit 27 has reached a predetermined third set time (S34), that the temperature has risen due to the passage of current, the resistance value of the heater 12 has further risen, and that even if the voltage applied to the heater 12 is changed from 3 / 4 wave to full wave, a large inrush current will not flow and the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will not be activated to stop the output of the storage type power supply device, and therefore ends the phase control by the suppression means 25 for the voltage applied to the heater 12 (S35), stops and resets the timer unit 27 (S36), and returns to (S3).
[0049] As described above, even if an easily portable storage type power supply device is used as an input power source for a combustion machine that uses a heater 12 that has a low resistance value at room temperature or below, such as a PTC heater or ceramic heater, when the temperature of the heater 12 is low and has a low resistance value, the suppression means 25 suppresses the voltage applied to the heater 12, so that no large inrush current flows when current begins to flow to the heater 12, and even if the power consumption increases momentarily, it will be below the rated output power of the storage type power supply device, so that the overcurrent protection circuit in the storage type power supply device will operate and the output of the storage type power supply device will not stop, and power can continue to be supplied to the heater 12.
[0050] Furthermore, the suppression means 25 controls the phase of the voltage applied to the heater 12, changing it from ¼ wave to ½ wave, ¾ wave, and then to a full wave voltage, i.e., gradually decreasing the conduction angle, thereby making it possible to relax the suppression of the applied voltage while preventing a large inrush current from flowing.
[0051] Further, although a Bunsen type combustion machine has been described in this embodiment, the present invention is not limited to this, and a pot type combustion machine as shown in FIG. 7 may also be used. Reference numeral 12 in FIG. 7 denotes a heater that directly heats kerosene poured onto a pot inside the combustion tube and burns the naturally vaporized kerosene, and a ceramic heater or the like is used. When an easily portable storage type power supply device is used as the input power supply, the voltage applied to this heater 12 is suppressed by suppression means 25.
[0052] In this embodiment, the suppression means 25 suppresses the voltage applied to the heater 12 by phase control, but this is not limited to this. For example, a variable resistance device may be connected in series to the heater 12, and the resistance value of this variable resistance device may be increased when current begins to flow to the heater 12, and the resistance value of the variable resistance device may be gradually decreased to relax the suppression of the voltage applied to the heater 12.
