Abstract

To suppress the generation of vibration resulting from the deflection of a crankshaft.SOLUTION: When vibration exceeding a specified vibration determination threshold is detected by a knock sensor 23 by a specified cylinder having a possibility of the generation of specified vibration when an operation state is in a prescribed specified operation region which is determined to be possible to generate the specified vibration, a control unit 21 performs second ignition timing control for retarding (retardancy) the specified cylinder by a prescribed amount. The combustion timing of the specified cylinder can be determined by using a crank angle of a crankshaft 7. An internal combustion engine 1 can suppress the specified vibration without lowering output performance (combustion pressure) at all cylinders.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
