Abstract

To prevent damage and deformation of components due to inclination of a head mounting member and a collision of the head mounting member with a lifting mechanism.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: a liquid discharge head 22 which discharges liquid; a head mounting member 21 on which the liquid discharge head 22 is mounted; a lifting mechanism 40 which elevates and lowers the head mounting member 21; a butting member 36 which is provided on a side surface of the head mounting member 21 facing the lifting mechanism 40 and butts against the lifting mechanism 40 when the head mounting member 21 is inclined. The butting member 36 butts against the lifting mechanism 40, so that elevating and lowering operations of the lifting mechanism 40 is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
