Abstract

To provide a clothing treatment device capable of executing a tub cleaning with a proper course even when there is an incorrect operation.SOLUTION: A clothing treatment device includes: a housing; a water tub provided inside the housing; a heating device for heating the water stored in the water tub; a control device for controlling the operation of the heating device, and for executing a cleaning operation of the water tub; a detection part for detecting electricity conductivity of the water stored in the water tub; and a determination processing part for executing determination processing for determining presence / absence of the cleaning treatment agent in the water tub, based on the detection result of the detection part. The control part can execute, as a cleaning operation, by selecting out of a standard course in which the target temperature of the water stored in the water tub is set at a first temperature suitable for the use of the cleaning treatment agent, and a high temperature course in which the target temperature of the water stored in the water tub is set at a second temperature higher than the first temperature. The control device allows the determination processing part to execute determination processing before execution or during execution of the cleaning operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
