Pipe making device for spiral pipe

Abstract

To prevent toppling of a pipe making device due to twisting and pulling from a succeeding belt portion of an unmade pipe in a belt-like member in a pipe making device of an inner circumference release type.SOLUTION: In one location of a pipe end portion 3e on a front side of a spiral pipe 3, a device frame 21 of a pipe making device 20 is provided. The device frame is provided with a drive unit 30 and a pipe end guide. Drive rollers 32 and 33 of the drive unit clamp a succeeding belt portion 19 of an unmade pipe of a belt-like member 10 and push the same diagonally into the pipe end portion, thereby incorporate the succeeding belt portion into the pipe end portion, and obtain a propulsive force that propels the device frame in a spiral winding direction. The pipe end guide is engaged with the pipe end portion slidably in the spiral winding direction. Anti-toppling members 52 and 53A are provided in a lateral portion on a backside in an extension direction in the device frame so as to lie along an inner circumferential surface of an earlier made pipe portion 3a of a rehabilitation pipe 3. The anti-toppling members restrict inclining toward the backside in the extension direction of the device frame by contacting the inner circumferential surface of the pipe portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
