Abstract

To provide a ventilation system effective for achieving sleep of high quality.SOLUTION: A ventilation system includes: ventilation means; biological information acquisition means for acquiring biological information for a user present in a room; sleep estimation means for estimating whether or not the user sleeps from the biological information acquired by the biological information acquisition means; concentration characteristics acquisition means for acquiring information relating to easiness of increase in carbon dioxide concentration in air in the room; and control means for controlling the ventilation means according to acquired results of the sleep estimation means and the concentration characteristics acquisition means. The control means executes control in a first mode, in which the ventilation means performs ventilation with a first air volume before sleep of the user, in a case when the easiness of increase in carbon dioxide concentration in the air in the room is equal to or higher than a reference, and executes control in a second mode, in which the ventilation means performs ventilation with an air volume smaller than the first air volume or stops ventilation before the sleep of the user, in a case when the easiness of increase in carbon dioxide concentration in the air in the room is less than the reference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
