Abstract

To propose a data preparation device capable of suppressing its price by enabling more components of the same shape to be allocated to one work-piece.SOLUTION: A data preparation device includes: arrangement means for arranging a plurality of component figures PF with a reference position P1 of a work-piece figure W1 as an original point; even-numbered row movement means for moving a group of component figures PF of even-numbered rows by a prescribed amount A in an X direction with respect to a group of component figures PF of a first row about a group of component figures PF in the M-th row in which a plurality of component figures PF are arranged in the X direction; and row interval adjustment means for respectively moving the component figure group of the M-th row by a prescribed amount B×(M-1) in a Y direction with respect to the component figure group of the first row, or includes: even-number column movement means for moving a group of component figures PF of even-numbered columns by a prescribed amount C in the Y direction with respect to a group of component figures PF in a first column about a component figure group in the N-th column in which a plurality of component figures PF are arranged in the Y direction; and column interval adjustment means for respectively moving the component figure group in the N-th column by a prescribed amount D×(N-1) in the X direction with respect to the group of component figures PF of the first column.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
