[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2015-53787 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] Conventional configurations have had a problem in that the creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar is short. This specification provides a technology that can ensure the creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar with a compact configuration. [Means for solving the problem]

[0005] In a first aspect of the present technology, an electrical connection box includes an insulating body, a conductive first bus bar arranged on the body, a conductive second bus bar arranged on the body at a position spaced apart from the first bus bar, and a creepage distance securing structure that secures a creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar.

[0006] According to this configuration, it is possible to ensure the creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar with a compact configuration.

[0007] In a second aspect, in the first aspect, a separation portion may be provided between a lower surface of an end portion of one of the first bus bar and the second bus bar that is adjacent to the other bus bar and an upper surface of the main body. The creepage distance securing structure may include the separation portion.

[0008] According to this configuration, the spacing portion ensures a sufficient creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar, making it possible to ensure the sufficient creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar with a compact configuration.

[0009] In a third aspect, in the second aspect, a first protrusion that abuts against the main body may be provided on a lower surface of the first bus bar or a lower surface of the second bus bar. With this configuration, it is possible to ensure a creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar with a compact configuration.

[0010] In a fourth aspect, in the third aspect, the first protrusion may extend in a longitudinal direction of the first bus bar or in a longitudinal direction of the second bus bar, thereby making it possible to stabilize the first bus bar or the second bus bar on the main body.

[0011] In a fifth aspect, in the second aspect, a second protrusion that abuts against the first bus bar or the second bus bar may be provided on the upper surface of the main body. With this configuration, it is possible to ensure a creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar with a compact configuration.

[0012] In a sixth aspect, in the fifth aspect, the second protrusion may extend in a longitudinal direction of the first bus bar or in a longitudinal direction of the second bus bar. With this configuration, the first bus bar or the second bus bar can be stabilized on the main body.

[0013] In a seventh aspect, in the second aspect, a first convex portion that abuts against the main body may be provided on a lower surface of the first bus bar or a lower surface of the second bus bar. A second convex portion that abuts against the first bus bar or the second bus bar may be provided on an upper surface of the main body. The first convex portion and the second convex portion may be aligned in the longitudinal direction of the first bus bar or the longitudinal direction of the second bus bar. With this configuration, the first bus bar or the second bus bar can be stabilized on the main body.

[0014] In an eighth aspect, in the second aspect, a first busbar side convex portion that abuts against the main body or the first busbar may be provided on a lower surface of the first busbar or an upper surface of the main body. A second busbar side convex portion that abuts against the main body or the second busbar may be provided on a lower surface of the second busbar or an upper surface of the main body. The first busbar side convex portion and the second busbar side convex portion may be aligned in a direction intersecting a direction in which the first busbar and the second busbar face each other when the first busbar and the second busbar are viewed from above.

[0015] In a ninth aspect, in the first or second aspect, a convex portion or a concave portion may be provided on a surface of the main body between the first bus bar and the second bus bar. The creepage distance securing structure may include the convex portion or the concave portion. With this configuration, it is possible to secure the creepage distance between the first bus bar and the second bus bar with a compact configuration. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0017] (First embodiment) An electrical junction box 2 of the first embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the electrical junction box 2 of the first embodiment includes a housing 4 and a plurality of bus bars (a first bus bar 20 and a second bus bar 40) arranged inside the housing 4.

[0018] The housing 4 includes a main body 10 and a cover 90 that covers the main body 10. Both the main body 10 and the cover 90 are made of an insulating material such as resin. The main body 10 includes a creepage distance securing structure 6 that secures a creepage distance between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40. The creepage distance securing structure 6 will be described later.

[0019] The main body 10 of the housing 4 includes a bottom 13 and a wall 14 standing up from the bottom 13. The bottom 13 and the wall 14 are integrally formed. The bottom 13 is configured as a plate extending in the horizontal direction. The wall 14 is configured as a plate extending in the vertical direction. The wall 14 extends upward from the bottom 13. The lower end of the wall 14 is fixed to the bottom 13. The wall 14 is provided between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40. The upper end of the wall 14 is located higher than the upper end of the first bus bar 20 and the upper end of the second bus bar 40.

[0020] The cover 90 of the housing 4 covers the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40. The cover 90 includes a top portion 92 and a plurality of side wall portions 94 extending downward from the top portion 92. The top portion 92 and the plurality of side wall portions 94 are integrally formed. The top portion 92 is configured in the shape of a plate extending in the horizontal direction. The side wall portions 94 are configured in the shape of a plate extending in the vertical direction. The upper ends of the side wall portions 94 are fixed to the top portion 92. The lower ends of the side wall portions 94 are fixed to the bottom portion 13. The first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40 are arranged between the plurality of side wall portions 94.

[0021] The first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are each made of a conductor such as a metal. The first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are each formed in a plate shape extending in the horizontal direction. The first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are disposed on the bottom 13 of the housing 4. The first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are arranged at intervals in a direction along the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13. The first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 face each other via the wall portion 14 and are spaced apart in the first direction D1 (see FIG. 2). When the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are viewed from above (see FIG. 2), the first busbar 20, the second busbar 40 and the wall portion 14 extend parallel to each other in approximately the same direction.

[0022] The first busbar 20 has a plurality of protruding portions 24 that protrude toward the upper surface 18 of the bottom portion 13. The plurality of protruding portions 24 are provided on the lower surface 22 of the first busbar 20. The tip of each protruding portion 24 abuts against the upper surface 18 of the bottom portion 13. The plurality of protruding portions 24 are formed, for example, by pressing the first busbar 20. The plurality of protruding portions 24 are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the first busbar 20 (see FIG. 2). Each protruding portion 24 is formed, for example, in a circular shape when the first busbar 20 is viewed from above (see FIG. 2). The shape, size, and number of the protruding portions 24 are not particularly limited, and when the plurality of protruding portions 24 are arranged at intervals, the intervals are also not particularly limited.

[0023] Since first busbar 20 has multiple protrusions 24, a first separation portion 50 is provided between lower surface 22 of first busbar 20 and upper surface 18 of bottom 13 of housing 4. First separation portion 50 is a portion where lower surface 22 of first busbar 20 and upper surface 18 of bottom 13 of housing 4 are separated from each other. In first separation portion 50, lower surface 22 of first busbar 20 and upper surface 18 of bottom 13 do not contact each other. First separation portion 50 is provided under the end of first busbar 20 on the second busbar 40 side (right side in FIG. 1 ).

[0024] The second busbar 40 has a plurality of protruding portions 44 that protrude toward the upper surface 18 of the bottom portion 13. The plurality of protruding portions 44 are provided on the lower surface 42 of the second busbar 40. The tip of each protruding portion 44 abuts against the upper surface 18 of the bottom portion 13. The plurality of protruding portions 44 are formed, for example, by pressing the second busbar 40. The plurality of protruding portions 44 are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the second busbar 40 (see FIG. 2). Each protruding portion 44 is formed, for example, in a circular shape when the second busbar 40 is viewed from above (see FIG. 2). The shape, size, and number of the protruding portions 44 are not particularly limited, and when the plurality of protruding portions 44 are arranged at intervals, the intervals are also not particularly limited.

[0025] Since the second busbar 40 has multiple protrusions 44, a second separation portion 52 is provided between the lower surface 42 of the second busbar 40 and the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the housing 4. The second separation portion 52 is a portion where the lower surface 42 of the second busbar 40 and the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the housing 4 are separated from each other. In the second separation portion 52, the lower surface 42 of the second busbar 40 and the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 do not come into contact with each other. The second separation portion 52 is provided below the end of the second busbar 40 on the first busbar 20 side (the left side in FIG. 1 ).

[0026] As shown in Fig. 2, when the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are viewed from above, the convex portions 24 of the first busbar 20 and the convex portions 44 of the second busbar 40 are aligned along a second direction D2 that is different from (intersects with) a first direction D1 in which the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 face each other. In the first direction D1, the convex portions 24 of the first busbar 20 and the convex portions 44 of the second busbar 40 do not overlap. The convex portions 24 of the first busbar 20 and the convex portions 44 of the second busbar 40 are aligned alternately in the direction in which the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 extend (the up-down direction in Fig. 2).

[0027] As shown in Fig. 1, a creepage distance ensuring structure 6 is provided between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40. The creepage distance ensuring structure 6 is a structure for ensuring a creepage distance between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40. The creepage distance is the distance along the surface of the main body 10 (i.e., the surfaces of the bottom 13 and the wall 14) from a portion where the tip of the convex portion 24 of the first bus bar 20 contacts the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the main body 10 to a portion where the tip of the convex portion 44 of the second bus bar 40 contacts the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the main body 10. In the first embodiment, the creepage distance ensuring structure 6 includes the wall 14 of the housing 4, a first separating portion 50, and a second separating portion 52.

[0028] (effect) The above has described the electrical junction box 2 of the first embodiment. As is clear from the above description, the electrical junction box 2 is provided with a creepage distance securing structure 6 that secures the creepage distance between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40. According to this configuration, the creepage distance between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40 can be secured with a compact configuration.

[0029] In the electric junction box 2 of the first embodiment, a first separation portion 50 is provided between the lower surface 22 of the end of the first bus bar 20 on the side of the second bus bar 40 and the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the housing 4. In addition, a second separation portion 52 is provided between the lower surface 42 of the end of the second bus bar 40 on the side of the first bus bar 20 and the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the housing 4. The creepage distance securing structure 6 includes the first separation portion 50 and the second separation portion 52. According to this configuration, the creepage distance between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40 can be secured by the first separation portion 50 and the second separation portion 52. As a result, the creepage distance between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40 can be secured with a compact configuration. For example, even if the height of the wall portion 14 between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40 is lowered, a sufficient creepage distance can be secured. Therefore, the height of the wall portion 14 can be lowered, and the electric junction box 2 can be configured in a compact size.

[0030] In a modified example, the creepage distance structure 6 may omit one of the first separating portion 50 and the second separating portion 52. It is sufficient that the creepage distance structure 6 includes at least one separating portion (the first separating portion 50 or the second separating portion 52).

[0031] Furthermore, in the electrical junction box 2 of the first embodiment, the lower surface 22 of the first bus bar 20 is provided with a convex portion 24 (one example of a first convex portion) that abuts against the bottom 13 of the housing 4. The lower surface 42 of the second bus bar 40 is provided with a convex portion 44 (another example of a first convex portion) that abuts against the bottom 13 of the housing 4. With this configuration, it is possible to ensure the creepage distance between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40 with a compact configuration. Note that in a modified example, one of the convex portion 24 of the first bus bar 20 and the convex portion 44 of the second bus bar 40 may be omitted.

[0032] (Modification) (1) There is no particular limitation on the shape of protrusion 24 of first busbar 20. For example, as shown in Fig. 3, protrusion 24 of first busbar 20 may be provided from the center of first busbar 20 to the end opposite second busbar 40 (left side in Fig. 3) in the direction in which first busbar 20 and second busbar 40 face each other. The same applies to protrusion 44 of second busbar 40.

[0033] (2) As shown in Fig. 4, convex portion 24 of first busbar 20 may be formed, for example, in an oval shape when first busbar 20 is viewed from above. Convex portion 24 of first busbar 20 may extend in the longitudinal direction of first busbar 20. With this configuration, first busbar 20 can be stabilized on bottom 13 of housing 4. The same applies to convex portion 44 of second busbar 40.

[0034] (3) There is no particular limitation on the shape of the main body 10 of the housing 4. For example, as shown in FIG.

[0035] (Second Example) In the above-described first embodiment, the first bus bar 20 has the protrusion 24, and the second bus bar 40 has the protrusion 44, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. In the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, the bottom 13 of the housing 4 has a plurality of protrusions 60 (an example of the second protrusions) that come into contact with the first bus bar 20, and a plurality of protrusions 62 (another example of the second protrusions) that come into contact with the second bus bar 40. The plurality of protrusions 60 and the plurality of protrusions 62 are provided on the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13.

[0036] The plurality of protruding portions 60 are provided so as to protrude upward (i.e., toward the lower surface 22 of the first busbar 20). The plurality of protruding portions 60 support the first busbar 20. The tip of each protruding portion 60 abuts against the lower surface 22 of the first busbar 20. The plurality of protruding portions 60 are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the first busbar 20 (see FIG. 7). Each protruding portion 60 is formed, for example, in a circular shape when the first busbar 20 is viewed from above (see FIG. 7). Note that the shape, size, and number of the protruding portions 60 are not particularly limited, and when the plurality of protruding portions 60 are arranged at intervals, the intervals are also not particularly limited. By providing the plurality of protruding portions 60 on the bottom 13 of the housing 4, a first separation portion 50 is provided between the lower surface 22 of the first busbar 20 and the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the housing 4 (see FIG. 6).

[0037] The plurality of protrusions 62 are provided so as to protrude upward (i.e., toward the lower surface 42 of the second busbar 40). The plurality of protrusions 62 support the second busbar 40. The tip of each of the protrusions 62 abuts against the lower surface 42 of the second busbar 40. The plurality of protrusions 62 are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the second busbar 40 (see FIG. 7). When the second busbar 40 is viewed from above (see FIG. 7), each of the protrusions 62 is formed, for example, in a circular shape. Note that the shape, size, and number of the protrusions 62 are not particularly limited, and when the plurality of protrusions 62 are arranged at intervals, the intervals are also not particularly limited. By providing the plurality of protrusions 62 on the bottom 13 of the housing 4, a second separation portion 52 is provided between the lower surface 42 of the second busbar 40 and the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the housing 4 (see FIG. 6).

[0038] 7, when the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are viewed from above, the protrusions 60 abutting the first busbar 20 and the protrusions 62 abutting the second busbar 40 are aligned along a second direction D2 that is different from (intersects with) a first direction D1 in which the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 face each other. In the first direction D1, the protrusions 60 abutting the first busbar 20 and the protrusions 62 abutting the second busbar 40 do not overlap. The protrusions 60 abutting the first busbar 20 and the protrusions 62 abutting the second busbar 40 are aligned alternately in the direction in which the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 extend (the up-down direction in FIG. 2).

[0039] The configuration of the second embodiment also makes it possible to ensure the creepage distance between first bus bar 20 and second bus bar 40 with a compact configuration.

[0040] (Modification) (1) There is no particular limitation on the shape of protrusion 60 that abuts against first busbar 20. For example, as shown in Fig. 8, protrusion 60 that abuts against first busbar 20 may be provided from the center of first busbar 20 to a position where it abuts against the end portion on the opposite side to second busbar 40 (the left side in Fig. 8) in the direction in which first busbar 20 and second busbar 40 face each other. The same applies to protrusion 62 that abuts against second busbar 40.

[0041] (2) As shown in Fig. 9, protrusions 60 that come into contact with first busbar 20 may be formed, for example, in an oval shape when first busbar 20 is viewed from above. Protrusions 60 that come into contact with first busbar 20 may extend in the longitudinal direction of first busbar 20. This configuration can stabilize first busbar 20. The same applies to protrusions 62 that come into contact with second busbar 40.

[0042] (3) As shown in Fig. 10, protrusion 24 of first busbar 20 and protrusion 60 abutting against first busbar 20 may be arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of first busbar 20. Also, protrusion 44 of second busbar 40 and protrusion 62 abutting against second busbar 40 may be arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of second busbar 40. Note that the shape, size and number of protrusions 24, 44, 60, 62 are not particularly limited, and when multiple protrusions 24, 44, 60, 62 are arranged at intervals, the intervals are also not particularly limited.

[0043] 11 , when the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are viewed from above, the protrusions 24 of the first busbar 20 and the protrusions 62 abutting the second busbar 40 may be aligned along a second direction D2 that is different from (intersects with) the first direction D1 in which the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 face each other. In the first direction D1, the protrusions 24 of the first busbar 20 and the protrusions 62 abutting the second busbar 40 do not overlap.

[0044] Furthermore, when the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 are viewed from above, the convex portions 60 in contact with the first busbar 20 and the convex portions 44 of the second busbar 40 may be aligned along a second direction D2 that is different from (intersects with) the first direction D1 in which the first busbar 20 and the second busbar 40 face each other. In the first direction D1, the convex portions 60 in contact with the first busbar 20 and the convex portions 44 of the second busbar 40 do not overlap.

[0045] (Third Example) In the third embodiment, as shown in Fig. 12, the wall 14 of the main body 10 of the housing 4 has a protrusion 80 and a recess 82. The protrusion 80 and the recess 82 are provided on the surface of the wall 14. The creepage distance securing structure 6 has the protrusion 80 and the recess 82 provided on the wall 14. Note that the number of each of the protrusions 80 and the recess 82 is not particularly limited.

[0046] (Modification) (1) In the first and second embodiments described above, the first separation portion 50 is provided between the lower surface 22 of the first bus bar 20 and the upper surface 18 of the bottom 13 of the housing 4, but in the third embodiment, the first separation portion 50 may be omitted. The same applies to the second separation portion 52.

[0047] (2) The shape of the main body 10 of the housing 4 is not particularly limited. For example, as shown in Fig. 13, the main body 10 of the housing 4 does not need to have a wall portion 14. A convex portion 80 and a concave portion 82 may be provided on the upper surface 18 of the bottom portion 13 of the housing 4 between the first bus bar 20 and the second bus bar 40. The creepage distance securing structure 6 includes the convex portion 80 and the concave portion 82 provided on the bottom portion 13.

[0048] (3) In a modified example, one of the protrusions 80 and the recesses 82 may be omitted. It is sufficient that the creepage distance securing structure 6 includes at least one of the protrusions 80 and the recesses 82.
