Description

[Technical field]

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202111661748.2, entitled “RADIO EQUIPMENT, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM,” filed with the China State Intellectual Property Office on December 30, 2021, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications, and in particular to a wireless device, a resource management method, and a communication system. [Background technology]

[0003] A shared network means that multiple operators use the same set of infrastructure or network resources (e.g., infrastructure equipment or network resources built by one operator) to communicate with terminal devices in order to reduce the cost of building network infrastructure.

[0004] At present, the main method of network sharing among operators is radio access network sharing (RAN Sharing). Specifically, as shown in Figure 1A, a primary operator provides a radio equipment controller and radio equipment in a base station system, and other operators are connected to the radio equipment controller in the base station system of the primary operator through their respective core network devices. The other operators need to use a network management device connected to the primary operator to manage resources in the shared radio equipment.

[0005] The radio equipment controller in the base station system can only be managed by the network management device of the main operator, and other operators have no right to manage the base station system. When other operators need to perform operations such as resource application, carrier establishment, network monitoring, fault handling, and configuration change, the corresponding operations need to rely on the network management device of the main operator. Specifically, the network management device of the main operator sends a message to the radio equipment controller of the main operator, and then the radio equipment controller of the main operator sends a message to the radio equipment to apply for or manage radio resources. Therefore, the access network sharing method in the prior art has a significant impact on the processing efficiency of a series of operations such as resource application, carrier establishment, network monitoring, fault handling, and configuration change of the radio equipment controller of other operators. Summary of the Invention

[0006] The present application provides a wireless device, a resource management method, and a communication system in which multiple wireless device controllers share physical resources within the same wireless device while independently managing the physical resources within the wireless device.

[0007] According to a first aspect, the present application provides a wireless device, the wireless device being connected to at least two wireless device controllers through a fronthaul interface, the wireless device mainly including an interface module and a processing module.

[0008] The interface module is configured to obtain a carrier establishment request from a first wireless device controller, the first wireless device controller being one of at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device, the carrier establishment request being used to request establishing a first carrier of the first wireless device controller.

[0009] In addition, the processing module is configured to determine first physical resource information based on the carrier establishment request, and determine whether to establish the first carrier based on the first physical resource information and physical resources corresponding to a first radio equipment controller in the wireless device. The first physical resource information indicates physical resources required to establish the first carrier. The at least two radio equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the wireless device.

[0010] It should be noted that the interface module of the wireless device in the prior art is only connected to one wireless device controller (i.e., the wireless device controller of the primary carrier), and therefore the interface module of the wireless device in the prior art cannot obtain a carrier establishment request from another wireless device controller.

[0011] In addition, in the present application, the wireless device can not only be connected to at least two wireless device controllers, but also know the physical resources corresponding to each wireless device controller, and the at least two wireless device controllers correspond to different physical resources in the wireless device. Therefore, after receiving a carrier establishment request, the wireless device can determine whether the resources indicated by the first physical resource information are sufficient to establish the first carrier based on the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller (i.e., the wireless device controller that sends the carrier establishment request) without using the physical resources corresponding to other wireless device controllers. Therefore, multiple wireless device controllers can independently manage the physical resources in the wireless device. In addition, when multiple wireless device controllers share the same wireless device, the flexibility of the management of the wireless device by the wireless device controller can be improved.

[0012] In a possible implementation, the wireless device further comprises a storage module, which may be coupled to the processing module or may be independent of the processing module, and which is configured to store a first resource table, the first resource table including physical resources corresponding to each of the at least two wireless device controllers.

[0013] For example, the wireless device is connected to a first wireless device controller and a second wireless device controller. The first wireless device controller is one of at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device. The second wireless device controller is another of at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device. In this case, the first resource table stored in the storage module includes physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller and physical resources corresponding to the second wireless device controller. The physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller include multiple types of physical resources, such as frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, and carrier resources. The physical resources corresponding to the second wireless device controller also include multiple types of physical resources, such as frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, and carrier resources.

[0014] Optionally, the first resource table further includes types of physical resources allowed to be used by each wireless device controller, and resource amounts of each type of physical resource or resource attributes of each type of physical resource.

[0015] It should be understood that the physical resources corresponding to each wireless equipment controller in the first resource table may be pre-allocated manually or dynamically allocated by the wireless equipment. For example, the first resource table may be manually input into a storage module of the wireless equipment, or the first resource table may be manually input into one of at least two wireless equipment controllers connected to the wireless equipment, and the wireless equipment controller transmits the first resource table to the wireless equipment, and then the wireless equipment stores the first resource table in the storage module. The implementation in which the wireless equipment obtains the first resource table is not limited in this application. It should be understood that regardless of which of the above implementations, the physical resources corresponding to the different wireless equipment controllers are determined, and the processing module of the wireless equipment may allocate only the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller to the first wireless equipment controller for use.

[0016] In the prior art, the radio equipment controller of the primary operator requests resources from the radio equipment, so the radio equipment does not know which operator's carrier the physical resources requested by the radio equipment controller of the primary operator are used to establish. Therefore, the radio equipment in the prior art does not have the above-mentioned first resource table. In the present application, a first resource table that records physical resources corresponding to each radio equipment controller is stored in the radio equipment, so that the physical resources in the radio equipment can be allocated to at least two radio equipment controllers connected to the radio equipment, allowing the radio equipment to use the physical resources corresponding to each radio equipment controller in the carrier establishment phase, and ensuring that the resource allocation in the radio equipment does not conflict.

[0017] In a possible implementation, the carrier establishment request includes an identifier of a first wireless equipment controller, the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller indicating to apply for physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, and the processing module is further configured to query the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in a first resource table based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller.

[0018] In this implementation, it is proposed that the processing module can query a physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller, and help ensure the accuracy of the wireless equipment's query of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0019] Optionally, if information about physical resources corresponding to different wireless equipment controllers in the first resource table is stored in different storage locations, the processing module may query only the storage page of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller without traversing the storage locations of the entire first resource table.

[0020] In a possible implementation, the processing modules include one central control module and at least two service processing modules, and the at least two wireless device controllers are in one-to-one correspondence with the at least two service processing modules.

[0021] The central control module is configured to determine a first service processing module corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller from the at least two service processing modules based on an identifier of the first wireless equipment controller in the carrier establishment request, and send the carrier establishment request to the first service processing module.

[0022] The first service processing module is configured to: determine first physical resource information based on the carrier establishment request, and send the first physical resource information to the central control module. Then, the central control module determines whether to establish a first carrier based on the first physical resource information and the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0023] In this implementation, the processing module includes two types of modules: a control type module (i.e., a central control module) and a service type module (i.e., at least two service processing modules). The at least two service processing modules are independent of each other, and each service processing module corresponds to a wireless device controller, so that each service processing module can independently process messages (e.g., carrier establishment requests) for corresponding wireless device controllers. Compared with the solution in which only one service processing module processes messages from different wireless device controllers, this solution is not only helpful to improve service processing efficiency, but also helpful to implement service processing diversity in one wireless device, and also helpful to implement independent update and maintenance of each service processing module. In addition, when multiple wireless device controllers connected to a wireless device belong to different operators, the service processing modules (which can also be understood as service processing software) of different operators can be executed in the wireless device to help generate different carriers meeting the requirements of operators in one wireless device based on different service processing modules.

[0024] In a possible implementation, the wireless device further includes a carrier establishment module. The central control module is specifically configured to: determine to allow establishment of the first carrier when a resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is less than a resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller, and send the first physical resource information to the carrier establishment module. The carrier establishment module is configured to establish the first carrier by using the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information.

[0025] In a possible implementation, the central control module is further configured to update a resource amount of a physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table based on a resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information.

[0026] In a possible implementation, the central control module is particularly configured to: send a first notification message to the first service processing module when a resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is greater than a resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, where the first notification message indicates that the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller is insufficient to establish the first carrier.

[0027] The first service processing module is further configured to control the interface module to send a carrier establishment response to the first wireless device controller, the carrier establishment response indicating that establishment of the first carrier has failed.

[0028] In a possible implementation, the carrier establishment request further includes a first carrier parameter, the first carrier parameter indicating a characteristic of the first carrier.

[0029] The first service processing module is specifically configured to generate first physical resource information based on the first carrier parameter according to a preset rule corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, where the preset rules corresponding to different wireless equipment controllers in the at least two wireless equipment controllers are different, and the first physical resource information includes information on at least one of a frequency band resource, a power resource, a channel resource, a carrier resource, and a flow amount resource.

[0030] In a possible implementation, the wireless device may further inquire about the usage information of the physical resources corresponding to one of the at least two wireless device controllers based on the granularity of the wireless device controller. The inquiry process uses the interface module, the central control module, and the first service processing module (i.e., the service processing module corresponding to the wireless device controller that needs to be inquired).

[0031] Specifically, the interface module is further configured to receive a resource inquiry message from the first wireless equipment controller. The resource inquiry message is used to inquire about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. The resource inquiry message includes an identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. Then, the central control module is further configured to send the resource inquiry message to a first service processing module corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. Then, the first service processing module is further configured to inquire about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. Then, the interface module is further configured to send the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0032] In this implementation, it is proposed that each service processing module can inquire about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller, and feed back the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller to the wireless equipment controller. This solution helps to prevent the wireless equipment from erroneously reporting the usage of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller to other wireless equipment controllers, and helps to improve the accuracy of the wireless equipment inquiring about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to each wireless equipment controller.

[0033] In a possible implementation, the wireless device may further feedback the fault information based on the granularity of the wireless device controller, in other words, may feedback the fault information to some wireless device controllers among at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device. The fault feedback process uses an interface module and a central control module.

[0034] The central control module is configured to obtain fault information. The fault information indicates a faulty physical resource in the wireless equipment. Then, the central control module determines at least one second wireless equipment controller from the at least two wireless equipment controllers. The second wireless equipment controller is a wireless equipment controller that uses the physical resource indicated by the fault information. Then, the interface module is controlled to transmit the fault information to the second wireless equipment controller.

[0035] In this implementation, it is proposed that the wireless device may further perform fault feedback based on the granularity of the wireless device controller. Specifically, the wireless device may determine which wireless device controller is affected by the faulty physical resource, and then the wireless device may feedback the fault information only to the affected wireless device controller instead of feeding back the fault information to all wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device.

[0036] In a possible implementation, the interface module is further configured to obtain a resource configuration message, the resource configuration message including the first resource table.

[0037] In this implementation, since the radio equipment and the radio equipment controller are not necessarily located in the same geographic location (e.g., the radio equipment is usually located on a signal tower, and the radio equipment controller is located in an equipment room of a base station), the first resource table is transmitted to the radio equipment through the radio equipment controller connected to the radio equipment, which helps to improve resource configuration efficiency, avoid manual configuration on the signal tower, and helps to reduce the complexity of operation and maintenance management.

[0038] According to a second aspect, the present application provides a first wireless device controller, the first wireless device controller being one of at least two wireless device controllers connected to a wireless device, the first wireless device controller including a processing module and an interface module.

[0039] The processing module is configured to generate a carrier establishment request. The carrier establishment request is used to request establishing a first carrier of a first wireless equipment controller. The carrier establishment request includes an identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. The identifier of the first wireless equipment controller indicates to apply for physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the wireless equipment. The at least two wireless equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the wireless equipment. The interface module is configured to transmit the carrier establishment request to the wireless equipment.

[0040] Optionally, an identifier of the first radio equipment controller carried in the carrier establishment request is used by the radio equipment to identify and query physical resources corresponding to the first radio equipment controller in a first resource table.

[0041] In this embodiment, any one of the multiple radio equipment controllers connected to the radio equipment may send a carrier establishment request to the radio equipment, and request to establish a first carrier by using a physical resource corresponding to the first radio equipment controller in the radio equipment. Therefore, the multiple radio equipment controllers may independently manage the physical resource in the radio equipment. When the multiple radio equipment controllers share the same radio equipment, the flexibility of the management of the radio equipment by the radio equipment controller may be improved.

[0042] According to a third aspect, the present application provides a resource management method. The resource management method is executed by a wireless device connected to at least two wireless device controllers. In the method, the wireless device may obtain a carrier establishment request from a first wireless device controller. The first wireless device controller is one of the at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device. The carrier establishment request is used to request to establish a first carrier of the first wireless device controller. Then, the wireless device determines first physical resource information based on the carrier establishment request. The first physical resource information indicates physical resources required to establish the first carrier. Then, the wireless device determines whether to establish the first carrier based on the first physical resource information and physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller in the wireless device. The at least two wireless device controllers correspond to different physical resources in the wireless device.

[0043] In the present application, a wireless device can not only be connected to at least two wireless device controllers, but also know the physical resources corresponding to each wireless device controller, and the at least two wireless device controllers correspond to different physical resources in the wireless device. Thus, after receiving a carrier establishment request, the wireless device can determine whether the resources indicated by the first physical resource information are sufficient to establish a first carrier based on the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller (i.e., the wireless device controller that sends the carrier establishment request) without using the physical resources corresponding to other wireless device controllers. Thus, multiple wireless device controllers can independently manage the physical resources in the wireless device. When multiple wireless device controllers share the same wireless device, the flexibility of the management of the wireless device by the wireless device controller can be improved.

[0044] In a possible implementation, the wireless device stores a first resource table, the first resource table including physical resources corresponding to each of the at least two wireless device controllers.

[0045] Optionally, the first resource table further includes types of physical resources allowed to be used by each wireless device controller, and resource amounts of each type of physical resource or resource attributes of each type of physical resource.

[0046] It should be understood that the physical resources corresponding to each wireless equipment controller in the first resource table may be pre-allocated manually or dynamically allocated by the wireless equipment.

[0047] In the prior art, the radio equipment controller of the primary operator requests resources from the radio equipment, so the radio equipment does not know which operator's carrier the physical resources requested by the radio equipment controller of the primary operator are used to establish.

[0048] In a possible implementation, the carrier establishment request includes an identifier of a first wireless device controller, the identifier of the first wireless device controller indicating to request physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller.

[0049] Before the wireless device determines whether to establish the first carrier based on the first physical resource information and a physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller in the wireless device, the method further comprises:

[0050] The wireless device queries a physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller in a first resource table based on an identifier of the first wireless device controller.

[0051] In this implementation, it is proposed that the wireless device queries the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller, which may help to ensure the accuracy of the wireless device's query of the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0052] In a possible implementation, the wireless device determining whether to establish a first carrier based on the first physical resource information and a physical resource corresponding to a first wireless device controller in the wireless device includes:

[0053] If the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is less than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, the wireless equipment establishes the first carrier by using the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information.

[0054] In a possible implementation, the method further comprises:

[0055] The wireless device updates the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller in the first resource table based on the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information.

[0056] In a possible implementation, the carrier establishment request further includes a first carrier parameter, the first carrier parameter indicating a characteristic of the first carrier.

[0057] The wireless device determining, based on the carrier establishment request, the first physical resource information includes:

[0058] The wireless device generates first physical resource information based on the first carrier parameter according to a preset rule corresponding to a first wireless device controller, where the preset rules corresponding to different wireless device controllers in the at least two wireless device controllers are different, and the first physical resource information includes information on at least one of a frequency band resource, a power resource, a channel resource, a carrier resource, and a flow amount resource.

[0059] In a possible implementation, after the wireless device establishes the first carrier by using the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information, the method further includes:

[0060] The wireless device receives a resource query message from a first wireless device controller. The resource query message is used to query usage information of a physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device of the wireless device. The resource query message includes an identifier of the first wireless device controller.

[0061] The wireless device queries the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller in the first resource table.

[0062] The wireless device transmits, to the first wireless device controller, usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller.

[0063] In this implementation, it is proposed that the wireless device may further inquire about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to one of at least two wireless device controllers based on the granularity of the wireless device controller, and feed back the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless device controller to the wireless device controller. This solution helps to prevent the wireless device from erroneously reporting the usage of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless device controller to other wireless device controllers, and helps to improve the accuracy of the wireless device's inquiry of the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to each wireless device controller.

[0064] In a possible implementation, the method further comprises:

[0065] The wireless device obtains fault information, the fault information indicating at least one type of faulty physical resource within the wireless device.

[0066] The wireless device determines at least one second wireless device controller from the at least two wireless device controllers, where the second wireless device controller is a wireless device controller that uses a physical resource indicated by the failure information.

[0067] The wireless device transmits the fault information to a second wireless device controller.

[0068] In this implementation, it is proposed that the wireless device may further perform fault feedback based on the granularity of the wireless device controller. Specifically, the wireless device may determine which wireless device controller is affected by the faulty physical resource, and then the wireless device may feedback the fault information only to the affected wireless device controller instead of feeding back the fault information to all wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device.

[0069] In a possible implementation, before the wireless device receives a carrier establishment request from the first wireless device controller, the method further comprises:

[0070] The wireless device obtains a resource configuration message, the resource configuration message including a first resource table, the wireless device parses the resource configuration message, and stores the resource configuration message in a storage module.

[0071] For example, the wireless device receives a resource configuration message from one of at least two wireless device controllers coupled to the wireless device, the resource configuration message including a first resource table.

Each wireless equipment controller may be connected to a network management device, and a user may manage the wireless equipment controller connected to the network management device through the network management device and apply for the use of physical resources in the wireless equipment through the wireless equipment controller.

[0091] The radio equipment controller may be a network element, or a device having a baseband signal processing function, or a device having a radio signal processing function for managing an access network (radio access network, RAN). The radio equipment controller may complete baseband signal processing functions such as coding, multiplexing, modulation, and spreading, complete functions for processing signals from radio equipment, implement functions for performing local management and remote operation and maintenance for radio equipment, and provide functions for clock synchronization for transmitting devices or radio equipment. For example, the radio equipment controller may be a baseband processing unit (BBU) (also called a building baseband unit (BBU)) in an access network device (e.g., a base station). For example, in a long term evolution advanced (LTE) system or a long term evolution advanced (LTE-A) system, the radio equipment controller may be a baseband processing unit (BBU) in an evolved NodeB (eNB or e-NodeB). As another example, in a 5G NR system, the radio equipment controller may be a baseband processing unit BBU in a next generation NodeB (gNB).For example, in a 5th generation mobile communication technology (5G) new radio (NR) system, the radio equipment controller may alternatively be a distributed unit (DU) or a central unit (CU) (also referred to as a control unit) in a cloud radio access network (Cloud RAN) or open radio access network (ORAN) system, or may be a combined structure of a central unit CU and a distributed unit DU. In practical applications and subsequent network evolution, the radio equipment controller may alternatively be another device or apparatus having a baseband signal processing function, or another device or apparatus having a radio signal processing function for managing an access network RAN.

[0092] In addition, the radio equipment described above may be a radio unit (RU) (also referred to as a radio frequency unit) in an access network RAN device (e.g., a base station), or another processing device having a function of processing radio signals (e.g., intermediate frequency signals or radio frequency signals). For example, the radio equipment may be a remote radio unit (RRU) (also referred to as a remote radio module) or a remote radio head (RRH) in a base station. The RRU is generally used for conventional outdoor coverage of a macro base station. The RRH is generally used for indoor coverage of an indoor distributed system. For example, the radio equipment may alternatively be an active antenna unit (AAU), i.e., a processing unit integrating an RRU (or RRH) and an antenna. In practical applications and subsequent network evolution, the radio equipment may alternatively be another device or apparatus having a function of receiving and transmitting radio frequency signals and processing radio frequency signals or intermediate frequency signals.

[0093] Optionally, for example, some physical layer functions of the baseband unit may be implemented by the radio frequency unit, in which case the wireless device may have some physical layer functions of the BBU, such as modulation, demodulation, layer mapping, fast Fourier transform (FFT), and channel estimation / equalization.

[0094] Optionally, the radio equipment and the radio equipment controller may be directly connected by using a transmission medium (e.g., a transmission medium such as an optical fiber or a cable), or may be connected by using a fronthaul transport network (FTN) including one or more transmitting devices. The fronthaul network includes, but is not limited to, a fronthaul network in an LTE system, a fronthaul network in a 5G NR, a fronthaul network in a 6th generation mobile communication technology (6G) system, and even a fronthaul network in a later evolution standard. The transmitting device is a network device configured to transmit data in the fronthaul network. For example, the transmitting device may be a network device that may implement packet processing and data transmission, such as a packet transport network (PTN) device, a router, a switch, a microwave device, and an optical transport network (OTN) device. In addition, the transmitting device may be a network device that integrates the functions of one or more devices mentioned above. This is not particularly limited in this specification.

[0095] In addition, the radio equipment and the radio equipment controller in the communication system provided herein are connected through a fronthaul interface, which may be an interface defined in the prior art for splitting the physical layer through the communication system, such as enhanced common public radio interface (eCPRI), common public radio interface (CPRI), open base station architecture initiative (OBASI), or another interface that may connect the radio equipment and the radio equipment controller.

[0096] It should be further understood that when the communication protocol used between the radio equipment controller and the radio equipment is different, in other words, when the fronthaul interface used between the radio equipment controller and the radio equipment is different, the radio equipment controller may have a different name and the radio equipment may also have a different name. For example, in the common public radio interface (CPRI) protocol, the radio equipment controller is called a radio equipment controller (REC) and the radio equipment is called a radio equipment (RE). In the enhanced common public radio interface (eCPRI) protocol, the radio equipment controller is called an eCPRI radio equipment controller (eREC) and the radio equipment is called an eCPRI radio equipment (eRE). It should be understood that in other protocols that provide communication for baseband units and radio frequency units, the radio equipment controller may also have other names. In particular, the specific implementation and specific name of the radio equipment controller are not limited in this application, and the name "radio equipment controller" is used hereinafter for description. Similarly, in other protocols that provide communication for baseband units and radio frequency units, the wireless device may have other names. In particular, the specific implementation and specific name of the wireless device are not limited in this application, and the name "wireless device" is used hereinafter for the purpose of explanation.

[0097] The following describes the internal structure of the wireless device with reference to Fig. 2A. Fig. 2A illustrates an implementation of a wireless device 20 according to the present application. The wireless device 20 includes an interface module 201 and a processing module 202. Optionally, the wireless device 20 further includes a storage module 203 and a carrier establishment module 204.

[0098] The interface module 201 is configured to obtain a carrier establishment request from a first wireless device controller. The first wireless device controller is one of at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device. For example, in FIG. 2A, the wireless device 20 is connected to n wireless device controllers including wireless device controller 1 and wireless device controller 2, where n is an integer greater than 1. In this case, the first wireless device controller is one of the n wireless device controllers in FIG. 2A.

[0099] Optionally, at least two wireless equipment controllers may be wireless equipment controllers belonging to different operators. For example, wireless equipment controller 1 belongs to operator 1, and wireless equipment controller 2 belongs to operator 2, where operator 1 and operator 2 are different operators. Generally, if two wireless equipment controllers belong to different operators, the two wireless equipment controllers may have different management logic and use different physical resources in the wireless equipment.

[0100] In addition, the carrier establishment request is used to request to establish a first carrier of the first wireless device controller. The carrier establishment request is also used to request the wireless device to use some physical resources, so that the wireless device can be understood as using the physical resources to establish a first carrier for the first wireless device controller. Of course, the carrier establishment request carries some information required to establish the first carrier, which will be described in detail below.

[0101] In addition, the processing module 202 is configured to determine first physical resource information based on the carrier establishment request, and determine whether to establish the first carrier based on the first physical resource information and a physical resource corresponding to a first radio device controller in the radio device.

[0102] The first physical resource information is determined by the processing module 202 based on the content carried in the carrier establishment request, and the first physical resource information indicates the physical resources required to establish the first carrier. It should be understood that the first physical resource information may indicate one type of physical resource or may indicate multiple types of physical resources. The physical resources include, but are not limited to, frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, carrier resources, and flow volume resources. Thus, the first physical resource information includes information on at least one of frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, carrier resources, and flow volume resources.

[0103] A frequency band resource refers to a frequency band or a frequency domain range used when a carrier is established. Generally, a frequency band resource is a resource related to an operator. Each operator has a fixed frequency band, and different operators are allowed to use different frequency bands. For example, a frequency band resource is an operator's licensed frequency band, and different operators have different licensed frequency bands. A radio equipment controller is only allowed to use the frequency band of the operator to which the radio equipment controller belongs. For example, if 1.8 GHz (1890 MHz to 1895 MHz) belongs to operator 1, the radio equipment controller of operator 2 cannot use the frequency band resource of 1.8 GHz (1890 MHz to 1895 MHz), and only the radio equipment controller of operator 1 can apply to use the frequency band resource of 1.8 GHz (1890 MHz to 1895 MHz). In addition, a frequency band resource includes a transmission frequency and a reception frequency. Generally, in frequency division duplex (FDD) mode, the transmission frequency is different from the reception frequency. For example, in 1.8 GHz, 1765 MHz to 1785 MHz may be set as the transmission frequency (which may also be referred to as the uplink frequency), and 1860 MHz to 1880 MHz may be set as the reception frequency (which may also be referred to as the downlink frequency). As another example, in 2.1 GHz, 1920 MHz to 1960 MHz may be set as the transmission frequency, and 2110 MHz to 2150 MHz may be set as the reception frequency. Generally, in a time division duplex (TDD) mode, the transmission frequency may be the same as the reception frequency. For example, in 3.5 GHz, 3580 MHz to 3600 MHz may be set as the transmission frequency and reception frequency band.

[0104] It should be understood that whether to use FDD mode or TDD mode for frequency band resources is related to the carrier that needs to be established by the wireless device controller. The duplex mode of frequency band resources is not limited in this application.

[0105] In addition, the power resource refers to the multiple of the power of the established carrier amplified by the power amplifier. Generally, the power resource that can be used by the carriers using different frequency band resources is independent. It should be understood that the power resource is at the frequency band level, and the wireless device shares the power resource with all the carriers in the same frequency band. For example, all the carriers in 1.8GHz share a power resource of 20W, and all the carriers in 2.1GHz share a power resource of 40W. Therefore, when a carrier in one of the frequency bands occupies a large amount of power resource (e.g., high transmission power), other carriers in the frequency band may occupy a small amount of power resource (e.g., low transmission power). It should be understood that a higher transmission power of a carrier indicates a longer transmission distance of the carrier and a wider range of services that can be provided by the carrier. However, a higher transmission power may not be the optimal option. Because the transmission power of a terminal device is fixed, when the transmission distance is very long, the terminal device can only receive signals from the wireless device, but the wireless device cannot receive the signals transmitted by the terminal device. Generally speaking, operators will allocate power equally based on spectrum bandwidth to ensure equal coverage. For example, if the power of 2.1GHz is 20W, and there are two carriers in 2.1GHz, and the bandwidths of the two carriers are 20M and 5M respectively, the power resource occupied by the 20M carrier is 16W, and the power resource occupied by the 5M carrier is 4W.

[0106] In addition, the amount of channel resources refers to the amount of occupied radio frequency link channels. Generally, channel resources are related to frequency bands. For example, in a wireless device, if the amount of channel resources in the 2.1 GHz frequency band is 2T and the amount of channel resources in the 1.8 GHz frequency band is 3T, it indicates that the wireless device may use up to two channels when establishing a carrier in the 2.1 GHz frequency band, and may use up to three channels when establishing a carrier in the 1.8 GHz frequency band. In some possible implementations, the channel resources may further indicate the identifier or number of the occupied channel, i.e., which channel is occupied. For example, in a wireless device, if the amount of channel resources in the 2.1 GHz frequency band is T1 and T2, it indicates that the wireless device may use two channels numbered "T1" and "T2" when establishing a carrier in the 2.1 GHz frequency band.

[0107] It should be noted that the transmission devices of the channels in the wireless device are independent, so the power of the channels in the wireless device is also independent from each other. If a channel is shared by multiple wireless device controllers, the power of the channel also needs to be shared by the multiple wireless device controllers. Therefore, in practical applications, sharing by combining channel resources and power resources is generally considered. In possible implementation, the channel resources and power resources are combined into channel power resources. For example, on channel A, the power allocated to 1.8 GHz is 20 W, and the power allocated to 2.1 GHz is 40 W.

[0108] In addition, the amount of carrier resources refers to the amount of carriers that can be processed by the wireless device. The carrier resources are mainly intermediate frequency digital resources, which are used to perform processing such as frequency conversion / clipping / predistortion for each carrier. For example, the maximum amount of carrier resources of the wireless device is 4 (in other words, the wireless device can process a maximum of four carriers). It is assumed that the frequency band resources corresponding to the wireless device controller are 2.1GHz (2130MHz-2150MHz) 20M and 1.8GHz (1830MHz-1850MHz) 20M. If the wireless device controller selects to establish one 2.1GHz 20M carrier and one 1.8GHz 20M carrier, the amount of carrier resources that need to be consumed by the wireless device is 2. If the wireless device controller selects to establish two 2.1GHz 10M carriers and two 1.8GHz 10M carriers, the amount of carrier resources that need to be consumed by the wireless device is 4. When multiple wireless equipment controllers share carrier resources, the more carrier resources a wireless equipment controller uses, the fewer carrier resources are available for other wireless equipment controllers, and the other wireless equipment controllers cannot successfully establish a carrier due to lack of carrier resources even if spectrum / power resources exist.

[0109] In addition, the amount of flow volume resources refers to the amount of service flows of a terminal user that can be processed by a wireless device at the same moment. The flow volume resources include uplink flow volume resources and downlink flow volume resources. The amount of uplink flow volume resources refers to the amount of uplink service flows of a terminal user that can be processed by a wireless device at the same moment. The amount of downlink flow volume resources refers to the amount of downlink service flows of a terminal user that can be processed by a wireless device at the same moment.

[0110] It should be understood that the flow volume resource is a type of baseband processing resource. When the wireless device has a baseband processing function, for example, when the wireless device controller is an AAU, the wireless device may share the flow volume resource with multiple wireless device controllers. In general, more flow volume resources allocated to a wireless device controller indicate that the wireless device can process more terminal user's data for the wireless device controller, and thus a better communication experience can be provided for the user.

[0111] It should be understood that the physical resources are merely examples listed for ease of understanding by the reader. In practical applications, the wireless device may further provide other types of physical resources for at least two wireless device controllers. This application does not limit the specific physical resources provided by the wireless device.

[0112] Specifically, the first physical resource information may not only indicate the type of physical resource required to establish the first carrier, but also indicate the resource amount of each type of physical resource. For example, the first physical resource information may not only indicate that a channel resource is required to establish the first carrier, but also clearly indicate that channel resources of two channels are required to establish the first carrier, in other words, the resource amount of the channel resource includes the channel resources of the two channels. As another example, the first physical resource information may not only indicate that a power resource is required to establish the first carrier, but also clearly indicate that the power resource required to establish the first carrier is 20W, in other words, the transmission power of the first carrier is 20W. As another example, when the channel resource and the power resource are combined into a channel power resource, the first physical resource information may indicate that the channel power resource required to establish the first carrier is 20W of channel A. Specifically, the first carrier uses channel A, and the transmission power of the first carrier is 20W.

[0113] It should be understood that the first physical resource information may not only indicate the types of physical resources and the resource amount of each type of physical resource required to establish the first carrier, but also indicate the attributes of each type of physical resource. For example, the first physical resource information may indicate that a physical resource whose type is a frequency band resource is required to establish the first carrier, the resource amount of the frequency band resource is 5 MHz, and the attribute of the frequency band resource is 1.8 GHz (1890 MHz to 1895 MHz). As another example, the first physical resource information may indicate that a physical resource whose type is a channel resource is required to establish the first carrier, the resource amount of the frequency band resource includes channel resources of two channels, and the attribute of the frequency band resource is a radio frequency channel whose channel number is T1 and a radio frequency channel whose channel number is T2.

[0114] It should be understood that different radio equipment controllers may use different physical resources arranged in the radio equipment, in other words, the physical resources in the radio equipment 20 are assigned to at least two radio equipment controllers, and the at least two radio equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the radio equipment 20. In other words, information such as the radio equipment controllers to which the physical resources in the radio equipment 20 are assigned and the physical resources allowed to be used by each radio equipment controller is determined. Therefore, when the processing module 202 knows the physical resources that need to be used when the first radio equipment controller applies to establish the first carrier based on the first physical resource information, the processing module 202 needs to determine the relationship between the physical resources indicated by the first physical resource information and the physical resources corresponding to the first radio equipment controller in the radio equipment to determine whether to establish the first carrier.

[0115] Specifically, the processing module 202 needs to determine whether the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information belongs to the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. If the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information belongs to the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, the processing module 202 decides to allow the establishment of the first carrier. If the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information does not belong to the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, the processing module 202 decides not to allow the establishment of the first carrier.

[0116] It may also be understood that the processing module 202 determines whether to allow the establishment of the first carrier based on the relationship between the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information and the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. For example, if the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is less than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, the processing module 202 determines to allow the establishment of the first carrier. Then, the processing module 202 transmits the first physical resource information to the carrier establishment module 204, and the carrier establishment module 204 establishes the first carrier by using the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information. If the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is greater than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, the processing module 202 determines not to allow the establishment of the first carrier and controls the interface module 201 to transmit a carrier establishment response to the first wireless equipment controller. The carrier establishment response indicates that the establishment of the first carrier has failed.

[0117] In this embodiment, the wireless device 20 may be connected to multiple wireless device controllers, and the wireless device 20 may obtain a carrier establishment request from one of the multiple wireless device controllers, determine the physical resources used to establish a carrier based on the carrier establishment request, and then determine whether to establish a carrier based on the physical resources and the physical resources corresponding to the wireless device controller in the wireless device. Thus, multiple wireless device controllers may share the same wireless device, which may increase the flexibility of managing the wireless device by the wireless device controller.

[0118] The wireless device 20 further includes a storage module 203. The storage module 203 may be coupled to the processing module 202 or may be independent of the processing module 202. The storage module 203 is configured to store a first resource table. The first resource table includes physical resources corresponding to each of at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device 20.

[0119] Optionally, the first resource table further includes types of physical resources allowed to be used by each wireless device controller, and resource amounts of each type of physical resource or resource attributes of each type of physical resource.

[0120] For ease of understanding, for example, the wireless device 20 is connected to a wireless device controller 1 and a wireless device controller 2. In this case, the first resource table stored in the storage module 203 of the wireless device 20 includes physical resources corresponding to the wireless device controller 1 and physical resources corresponding to the wireless device controller 2. The physical resources corresponding to the wireless device controller 1 include multiple types of physical resources, such as frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, and carrier resources. The physical resources corresponding to the wireless device controller 2 also include multiple types of physical resources, such as frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, and carrier resources. In this case, the first resource table in the wireless device 20 can be shown in the following Table 1-1. Table 1-1 [Table 1]

[0121] In the example shown in Table 1-1, the wireless device 20 allocates physical resources to the wireless device controller 1 and the wireless device controller 2. The wireless device controller 1 and the wireless device controller 2 correspond to different physical resources. From the carrier resources in Table 1-1, it can be seen that the wireless device allows the wireless device controller 1 to establish up to four carriers, and allows the wireless device controller 2 to establish up to two carriers. For the wireless device controller 1, the wireless device handles up to six uplink service flows and eight downlink service flows, and handles up to two uplink service flows and eight downlink service flows.

[0122] For example, the wireless device controller 1 is permitted to use frequency band resources of four frequency bands, namely, a transmission frequency band "1.8 GHz (1765 MHz to 1785 MHz)", a reception frequency band "1.8 GHz (1860 MHz to 1880 MHz)", a transmission frequency band "2.1 GHz (1920 MHz to 1960 MHz)", and a reception frequency band "2.1 GHz (2110 MHz to 2150 MHz)". The wireless device controller 2 is permitted to use frequency band resources of two frequency bands, namely, a transmission frequency band "1.8 GHz (1745 MHz to 1765 MHz)" and a reception frequency band "1.8 GHz (1840 MHz to 1860 MHz)".

[0123] As another example, when the wireless device controller 1 generates a carrier using the 2.1 GHz frequency band, the wireless device 20 allows the wireless device controller 1 to use 40 W of power. When the wireless device controller 1 generates a carrier using the 1.8 GHz frequency band, the wireless device 20 allows the wireless device controller 1 to use 20 W of power.

[0124] As another example, when the wireless device controller 1 generates a carrier using the 2.1 GHz frequency band, the wireless device 20 allows the wireless device controller 1 to use channel resources of a total of two channels, namely, channel 1 (i.e., the channel whose identifier is "T1" in Table 1-1) and channel 2 (i.e., the channel whose identifier is "T2" in Table 1-1). When the wireless device controller 1 generates a carrier using the 1.8 GHz frequency band, the wireless device 20 allows the wireless device controller 1 to use channel resources of another two channels, namely, channel 5 (i.e., the channel whose identifier is "T5" in Table 1-1) and channel 6 (i.e., the channel whose identifier is "T6" in Table 1-1).

[0125] In another possible example, when the power resource and the channel resource are combined, the physical resource corresponding to the wireless device controller 1 includes multiple types of physical resources, such as frequency band resource, channel power resource, and carrier resource, and the physical resource corresponding to the wireless device controller 2 also includes multiple types of physical resources, such as frequency band resource, channel power resource, and carrier resource. In this case, the first resource table in the wireless device 20 may be shown in the following Table 1-2. Table 1-2 [Table 2]

[0126] In the example shown in Table 1-2, the wireless device 20 allocates physical resources to the wireless device controller 1 and the wireless device controller 2. The wireless device controller 1 and the wireless device controller 2 correspond to different physical resources. For example, when the wireless device controller 1 uses a 2.1 GHz frequency band to generate a carrier, the wireless device 20 allows the wireless device controller 1 to use a total of two channels, channel A and channel B, where the maximum power of channel A and the maximum power of channel B are both 40 W. When the wireless device controller 1 uses a 1.8 GHz frequency band to generate a carrier, the wireless device 20 allows the wireless device controller 1 to use a total of two channels, channel A and channel B, where the maximum power of channel A and the maximum power of channel B are both 20 W. In addition, for the description of other physical resources in Table 1-2, please refer to the related description corresponding to Table 1-1. Details will not be described in this specification.

[0127] It should be understood that the example shown in Table 1-1 and the example shown in Table 1-2 are only two possible examples of the first resource table in FDD mode provided in this application. In practical application, the TDD mode can be used alternatively for the frequency band resources in the first resource table. Therefore, there may be other examples of the first resource table. In this application, specific examples are not listed one by one.

[0128] It should be understood that the physical resources corresponding to each wireless equipment controller in the first resource table may be pre-allocated manually or dynamically allocated by the wireless equipment 20. For example, the first resource table may be manually input to the storage module 203 of the wireless equipment 20, or the first resource table may be manually input to one of at least two wireless equipment controllers connected to the wireless equipment 20, and the wireless equipment controller transmits the first resource table to the wireless equipment 20, and then the wireless equipment 20 stores the first resource table in the storage module 203. The implementation in which the wireless equipment 20 obtains the first resource table is not limited in the present application. It should be understood that regardless of which of the above implementations, the physical resources corresponding to the different wireless equipment controllers are determined, and the processing module 202 of the wireless equipment 20 may allocate only the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller to the first wireless equipment controller for use.

[0129] In the prior art, the radio equipment controller of the primary operator requests resources from the radio equipment, so the radio equipment does not know which operator's carrier the physical resources requested by the radio equipment controller of the primary operator are used to establish. Therefore, the radio equipment in the prior art does not have the above-mentioned first resource table. In the present application, a first resource table that records the physical resources corresponding to each radio equipment controller is stored in the radio equipment 20, so that the physical resources in the radio equipment 20 can be allocated to at least two radio equipment controllers connected to the radio equipment 20, allowing the radio equipment 20 to use the physical resources corresponding to each radio equipment controller in the carrier establishment phase, and ensuring that the resource allocation in the radio equipment 20 does not conflict.

[0130] In a possible implementation, the carrier establishment request includes an identifier of a first wireless device controller, and the identifier of the first wireless device controller indicates to apply for physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller. The processing module 202 may know a storage location of the first resource table, so that the processing module 202 is further configured to query the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller in the first resource table according to the identifier of the first wireless device controller.

[0131] Optionally, if information about physical resources corresponding to different wireless equipment controllers in the first resource table is stored in different storage locations, the processing module 202 may query only the storage page of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller without traversing the storage locations of the entire first resource table.

[0132] Optionally, the processing module 202 may further perform a validity check on the carrier establishment request based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. For example, the processing module 202 determines whether the carrier establishment request is from the wireless equipment controller indicated by the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. This solution helps prevent other wireless equipment controllers from maliciously forging the carrier establishment request of the first wireless equipment controller and affecting the carrier establishment of the first wireless equipment controller.

[0133] In this implementation, because the wireless device in the prior art does not have the first resource table, the wireless device in the prior art cannot inquire about the physical resources corresponding to the wireless device controller based on the identifier of the wireless device controller.

[0134] Above, the main structure of the wireless device 20 has been described. In the following, each functional module inside the wireless device 20 will be further described with reference to Fig. 2B. Fig. 2B shows another implementation of the wireless device 20 according to the present application. The wireless device 20 includes an interface module 201, a processing module 202, a storage module 203, and a carrier establishment module 204.

[0135] The processing module 202 includes one central control module 2021 and at least two service processing modules 2022. At least two wireless device controllers are one-to-one associated with at least two service processing modules 2022, and each service processing module 2022 processes only messages (e.g., carrier establishment requests) from the corresponding wireless device controller. For example, the central control module 2021 in FIG. 2B is connected to n service processing modules 2022, including service processing module 1 and service processing module 2, where n is an integer greater than 1. If the wireless device controller 1 corresponds to the service processing module 1, the service processing module 1 can only process messages from the wireless device controller 1. If the wireless device controller 2 corresponds to the service processing module 2, the service processing module 2 can only process messages from the wireless device controller 2. The rest can be inferred by analogy and will not be described in detail in this specification.

[0136] It should be understood that the first wireless device controller corresponds to the first service processing module, and the first service processing module is not explicitly shown in Fig. 2B. If the identifier of the first wireless device controller indicates the wireless device controller 1, the first service processing module is the service processing module 1 in Fig. 2B. The rest can be inferred by analogy, and will not be described in detail in this specification.

[0137] Specifically, the central control module 2021 in the processing module 202 is configured to determine a first service processing module corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller from the at least two service processing modules 2022 based on an identifier of the first wireless equipment controller in the carrier establishment request, and send the carrier establishment request to the first service processing module. The first service processing module is configured to determine first physical resource information based on the carrier establishment request, and send the first physical resource information to the central control module 2021. The central control module 2021 is configured to determine whether to establish a first carrier based on the first physical resource information and the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0138] The service processing module is configured to process services related to a corresponding wireless equipment controller. A first service processing module is used as an example. The first service processing module corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller is configured to determine first physical resource information based on a carrier establishment request from the first wireless equipment controller. The first service processing module may determine the first physical resource information in the following two implementations:

[0139] In some implementations, if the carrier establishment request directly carries the first physical resource information, the first service processing module directly obtains the first physical resource information from the carrier establishment request.

[0140] In another implementation, the carrier establishment request carries a first carrier parameter. The first carrier parameter indicates a characteristic of the first carrier. In this case, the first service processing module is specifically configured to generate the first physical resource information based on the first carrier parameter according to a preset rule corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. The preset rules corresponding to different wireless equipment controllers in the at least two wireless equipment controllers are different. The first physical resource information includes information on at least one of a frequency band resource, a power resource, a channel resource, a carrier resource, and a flow amount resource.

[0141] The preset rule may be understood as a processing logic of a service processing module, and different service processing modules correspond to different wireless equipment controllers. When different service processing modules have different service processing logics, the different service processing modules correspond to different preset rules. In this embodiment, the preset rule may be understood as a rule for converting a first carrier parameter into a first wireless resource information. When the first carrier parameter is input into a service processing module corresponding to another wireless equipment controller (e.g., a second service processing module corresponding to a second wireless equipment controller), the second service processing module may not be able to identify the first carrier parameter or convert the first carrier parameter into a first physical resource information.

[0142] For example, if operator 1 configures an FDD LTE 2T2R carrier with a bandwidth of 20M on the first radio equipment controller via a network management device, a transmit frequency of 2110MHz-2130MHz and a receive frequency of 1920MHz-1940MHz are used. In this case, the first carrier parameters in the carrier establishment request are "bandwidth=20M, duplex mode=FDD, standard=LTE, transmit mode=2T, receive mode=2R, and frequency band=2.1GHz". Next, based on the first carrier parameters and a preset rule corresponding to the first service processing module, the first service processing module determines that information regarding physical resources required to establish the first carrier (i.e., first physical resource information) includes frequency band resource "2.1 GHz (receiving frequency 1920 MHz to 1940 MHz and transmitting frequency 2110 MHz to 2130 MHz)", power resource "2.1 GHz 20 W / channel", channel resource "2.1 GHz 2T", uplink flow amount resource "4 flows", and downlink flow amount resource "4 flows".

[0143] The central control module 2021 may determine whether to establish the first carrier in the following two implementations.

[0144] In an implementation, if the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is less than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller, the central control module 2022 decides to allow the establishment of the first carrier and sends the first physical resource information to the carrier establishment module 204. Then, the carrier establishment module 204 is configured to establish the first carrier by using the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information. The carrier establishment module 204 includes a digital processing module 2041 and an analog processing module 2042. The digital processing module 2041 includes a circuit or device having a digital signal processing function such as an up-converter, a down-converter, and a digital-to-analog converter. The analog processing module 2042 includes a circuit or device having an analog signal processing function such as an intermediate frequency amplifier, a filter, a frequency mixer, or a power amplifier.

[0145] Optionally, after the central control module 2022 determines to allow the establishment of the first carrier based on the first physical resource information, the central control module 2022 updates a resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table based on the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information. For example, the central control module 2022 subtracts the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information from the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table to obtain an updated resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. For example, the physical resources indicated by the first physical resource information include a frequency band resource "2.1GHz (1920MHz-1940MHz / 2110MHz-2130MHz)" and a channel power resource "2.1GHz 20W", and the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller originally recorded in the first resource table include a frequency band resource "2.1GHz (1920MHz-1960MHz / 2110MHz-2150MHz)", a channel power resource "2.1GHz 40W", and a carrier resource "4". After updating, the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller recorded in the first resource table include a frequency band resource "2.1GHz (1940MHz-1960MHz / 2130MHz-2150MHz)", a channel power resource "2.1GHz 20W", and a carrier resource "3". Optionally, the central control module 2022 further stores the first physical resource information in the storage module 203 to record the physical resources used to establish the first carrier, for example, the types of physical resources used by the carrier establishment module 204 to establish the first carrier, and the resource amount of each type of physical resource.

[0146] In another implementation, if the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is greater than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, the central control module 2022 sends a first notification message to the first service processing module. The first notification message indicates that the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller is insufficient to establish the first carrier. The first service processing module controls the interface module 201 to send a carrier establishment response to the first wireless equipment controller. The carrier establishment response indicates that the establishment of the first carrier has failed.

[0147] In this implementation, the processing module 202 includes two types of modules: a control type module (i.e., a central control module 2021) and a service type module (i.e., at least two service processing modules 2022). The at least two service processing modules are independent of each other, and each service processing module corresponds to a wireless equipment controller, so that each service processing module can independently process messages (e.g., carrier establishment requests) for corresponding wireless equipment controllers. Compared with the solution in which only one service processing module processes messages from different wireless equipment controllers, this solution is not only helpful to improve service processing efficiency, but also helpful to implement service processing diversity in one wireless equipment, and also helpful to implement independent update and maintenance of each service processing module. In addition, when multiple wireless equipment controllers connected to the wireless equipment 20 belong to different operators, the service processing modules (which can also be understood as service processing software) of different operators can be executed in the wireless equipment 20 to help generate different carriers meeting the requirements of the operators in one wireless equipment based on different service processing modules.

[0148] Further, in an optional implementation, the interface module 201 is further configured to obtain a resource configuration message. The resource configuration message includes a first resource table. In this implementation, since the radio equipment and the radio equipment controller are not necessarily located at the same geographical location (for example, the radio equipment is usually located on a signal tower, and the radio equipment controller is located in the equipment room of a base station), the first resource table is sent to the radio equipment 20 through the radio equipment controller connected to the radio equipment 20, which helps to improve resource configuration efficiency, avoid manual configuration on the signal tower, and helps to reduce the complexity of operation and maintenance management.

[0149] In addition, in an optional implementation, the interface module 201 is further configured to receive a resource inquiry message from the first wireless equipment controller. The resource inquiry message is used to inquire about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. The resource inquiry message includes an identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. The wireless equipment 20 may determine to inquire about the resource usage of the first wireless equipment controller based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller in the inquiry message, instead of inquiring about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to another wireless equipment controller. In response, the wireless equipment 20 feeds back the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller only to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0150] Specifically, the central control module 2021 sends a resource inquiry message to a first service processing module corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller according to the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. The first service processing module inquires about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. The interface module 201 sends the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0151] In this implementation, it is proposed that each service processing module can inquire about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller, and feed back the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller to the wireless equipment controller. This solution helps to prevent the wireless equipment 20 from erroneously reporting the usage of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller to the wireless equipment controller.

[0152] In addition, in an optional implementation, the central control module 2021 is further configured to obtain fault information. The fault information indicates a faulty physical resource in the wireless device 20. Then, the central control module 2021 determines at least one second wireless equipment controller from the at least two wireless equipment controllers. The second wireless equipment controller is a wireless equipment controller that uses the physical resource indicated by the fault information. Then, the interface module 201 is controlled to send the fault information to the second wireless equipment controller.

[0153] In this implementation, it is proposed that the central control module 2021 of the wireless device 20 can detect the failure of a physical resource, and determine the failure impact scope, i.e., which wireless device controller (which is referred to as the second wireless device controller in this implementation) is affected by the failed physical resource based on the failure of the physical resource. Then, instead of sending the failure information to another wireless device controller, the central control module 2021 only controls the interface module 201 to send the failure information to the second wireless device controller. In this implementation, the wireless device 20 can accurately feedback the failure to the wireless device controller, and the wireless device 20 is prevented from feedbacking the failure to all wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device 20.

[0154] In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, the present application further provides a communication device 30. The radio device 20 in this embodiment corresponding to FIG. 2A or FIG. 2B may be based on the structure of the communication device 30 shown in FIG. 3 in this embodiment. It should be understood that the communication device 30 may be a radio unit (RU) (also referred to as a radio frequency unit) in an access network RAN device (e.g., a base station), or another processing device having the function of processing radio signals (e.g., intermediate frequency signals or radio frequency signals). For example, the communication device 30 may be a remote radio unit (RRU) (also referred to as a remote radio module) or a remote radio head (RRH) in a base station. The RRU is generally used for conventional outdoor coverage of a macro base station. The RRH is generally used for indoor coverage of an indoor distributed system. For example, the communication device 30 may alternatively be an active antenna unit (AAU), i.e., a processing unit integrated with an RRU (or RRH) and an antenna. In practical applications and future network evolution, the wireless equipment may alternatively be another device or equipment having the function of receiving and transmitting radio frequency signals and processing radio frequency signals or intermediate frequency signals.

[0155] The communication device 30 includes at least one processor 301, at least one memory 302, at least one transceiver 303, and one or more antennas 304. The processor 301, the memory 302, and the transceiver 303 are connected via a connection device, and the antenna 304 is connected to the transceiver 303. The connection device may include various types of interfaces, transmission cables, buses, etc. This is not limited in this embodiment.

[0156] The memory 302 is mainly configured to store software programs and data, such as the above-mentioned first resource table, where the first resource table includes physical resources corresponding to each of the at least two wireless equipment controllers. Optionally, the first resource table further includes types of physical resources allowed to be used by each wireless equipment controller, and resource amounts of each type of physical resource or resource attributes of each type of physical resource.

[0157] It should be understood that the memory 302 may exist independently and be connected to the processor 301. Optionally, the memory 302 may be integrated with the processor 301, for example, integrated with one or more chips. The memory 302 may store program codes for executing the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application, and the processor 301 controls the execution. Various types of computer program codes executed may also be considered as drivers of the processor 301. It should be understood that FIG. 3 in this embodiment shows only one memory and one processor. However, in practical applications, the communication device 30 may include multiple processors or multiple memories. This is not particularly limited in this specification. In addition, the memory 302 may also be referred to as a storage medium or a storage device, etc. The memory 302 may be a storage element located on the same chip as the processor (i.e., an on-chip storage element), or an independent storage element. This is not limited in this embodiment of the present application.

[0158] In this embodiment, the transceiver 303 may be configured to support reception or transmission of radio frequency signals between the communication device 30 and the terminal device, and the transceiver 303 may be connected to an antenna 304. The transceiver 303 includes a transmitter Tx and a receiver Rx. Specifically, the one or more antennas 304 may receive radio frequency signals. The receiver Rx of the transceiver 303 is configured to receive radio frequency signals from the antenna 304 and convert the radio frequency signals into digital baseband signals or digital intermediate frequency signals, thereby enabling the digital baseband signals or digital intermediate frequency signals to be transmitted to a wireless device controller, so that the wireless device controller can perform further processing, such as demodulation and decoding processing on the digital baseband signals or digital intermediate frequency signals. In addition, the transmitter Tx of the transceiver 303 is further configured to receive modulated digital baseband signals or modulated digital intermediate frequency signals from the wireless device controller, convert the modulated digital baseband signals or modulated digital intermediate frequency signals into radio frequency signals, and transmit the radio frequency signals via one or more antennas 304. Specifically, the receiver Rx may selectively perform one or multiple levels of frequency downmix processing or analog-to-digital conversion processing on the radio frequency signal to obtain a digital baseband signal or a digital intermediate frequency signal. The order of the frequency downmix processing and the analog-to-digital conversion processing is adjustable. The transmitter Tx may selectively perform one or multiple levels of frequency upmix processing or digital-to-analog conversion on the modulated digital baseband signal or the modulated digital intermediate frequency signal to obtain a radio frequency signal. The order of the frequency upmix processing and the digital-to-analog conversion is adjustable. The digital baseband signal and the digital intermediate frequency signal may be collectively referred to as a digital signal.

[0159] It should be understood that the transceiver 303 may also be referred to as a transceiver unit, a transceiver machine, a transceiver device, etc. Optionally, a device configured to implement a receiving function in the transceiver unit may be regarded as a receiving unit, and a device configured to implement a transmitting function in the transceiver unit may be regarded as a transmitting unit. In other words, the transceiver unit includes a receiving unit and a transmitting unit. The receiving unit may also be referred to as a receiving machine, an input interface, a receiving circuit, etc. The transmitting unit may be referred to as a transmitting machine, a transmitter, a transmitting circuit, etc.

[0160] In addition, the processor 301 is mainly configured to process communication protocols and communication data, execute software programs, and process data of the software programs, for example, to support the communication device 30 in performing the functions described in the above embodiments. In a possible implementation, the communication device 30 is configured to execute the method in the embodiment corresponding to FIG. 6 described below.

[0161] Specifically, the processor 301 of the communication device 30 is configured to obtain a carrier establishment request from a first radio equipment controller. The first radio equipment controller is one of at least two radio equipment controllers connected to the radio equipment. The carrier establishment request is used to request to establish a first carrier of the first radio equipment controller. The processor 301 is further configured to determine first physical resource information based on the carrier establishment request. The first physical resource information indicates physical resources required to establish the first carrier. The processor 301 is further configured to determine whether to establish the first carrier based on the first physical resource information and physical resources corresponding to the first radio equipment controller in the radio equipment. The at least two radio equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the radio equipment.

[0162] In this embodiment, the communication device 30 can not only be connected to at least two radio equipment controllers, but also know the physical resources corresponding to each radio equipment controller, and the at least two radio equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the radio equipment. Therefore, after receiving a carrier establishment request, the communication device 30 can determine whether the resources indicated by the first physical resource information are sufficient to establish the first carrier based on the physical resources corresponding to the first radio equipment controller (i.e., the radio equipment controller that sends the carrier establishment request) without using the physical resources corresponding to other radio equipment controllers. Therefore, multiple radio equipment controllers can independently manage the physical resources in the communication device 30. When multiple radio equipment controllers share the same communication device 30, the flexibility of the management of the communication device 30 by the radio equipment controller can be improved.

[0163] In a possible implementation, the communication device 30 stores a first resource table. The first resource table includes physical resources corresponding to each of at least two wireless equipment controllers. Optionally, the first resource table further includes types of physical resources allowed to be used by each wireless equipment controller, and resource amounts of each type of physical resource or resource attributes of each type of physical resource.

[0164] In addition, the carrier establishment request received by the communication device 30 includes an identifier of a first wireless equipment controller. The identifier of the first wireless equipment controller indicates to apply for physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. The physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller include multiple types of physical resources, such as frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, and carrier resources.

[0165] The processor 301 is specifically configured to query, based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller, a physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table.

[0166] In the prior art, the radio equipment controller of the primary operator requests resources from the radio equipment, so the radio equipment does not know which operator's carrier the physical resources requested by the radio equipment controller of the primary operator are used to establish.

[0167] In a possible implementation, the processor 301 is particularly configured to establish a first carrier by using the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information when the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is less than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0168] In a possible implementation, the processor 301 is further configured to update, by the wireless device, a resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller in the first resource table based on a resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information.

[0169] In a possible implementation, the carrier establishment request further includes a first carrier parameter. The first carrier parameter indicates a characteristic of the first carrier. The processor 301 is specifically configured to generate first physical resource information based on the first carrier parameter according to a preset rule corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller. The preset rules corresponding to different wireless equipment controllers in the at least two wireless equipment controllers are different. The first physical resource information includes information on at least one of a frequency band resource, a power resource, a channel resource, a carrier resource, and a flow amount resource.

[0170] Specifically, please refer to the functions of the wireless device 20 in Figures 2A and 2B, and the details will not be described in this specification.

[0171] In addition, as shown in Fig. 4, the present application further provides a communication device 40. The communication device 40 is a chip and is configured to implement some or all of the functions of the wireless device 20 described in Fig. 2A or 2B. It should be understood that in this implementation, the communication device 40 and structures such as the carrier establishment module 204 and antenna described above may constitute the wireless device 20.

[0172] The communication device 40 includes an interface module 401 , a processing module 402 , and a storage module 403 .

[0173] The interface module 401 is configured to obtain a carrier establishment request from a first wireless device controller. The first wireless device controller is one of at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device. The carrier establishment request is used to request establishing a first carrier of the first wireless device controller.

[0174] The processing module 402 is configured to determine first physical resource information based on the carrier establishment request, and determine whether to establish the first carrier based on the first physical resource information and physical resources corresponding to a first radio equipment controller in the wireless device. The first physical resource information indicates physical resources required to establish the first carrier. The at least two radio equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the wireless device.

[0175] The storage module 403 is configured to store a first resource table, the first resource table including physical resources corresponding to each of the at least two wireless device controllers.

[0176] Optionally, the carrier establishment request includes an identifier of the first wireless equipment controller, the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller indicating to apply for physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller, the processing module 402 is further configured to query the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in a first resource table based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller.

[0177] Specifically, the interface module 401, the processing module 402, and the storage module 403 in this implementation are similar to the interface module 201, the processing module 202, and the storage module 203 in Fig. 2A. For details, please refer to the related description above. Details will not be described in this specification.

[0178] In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, the present application further provides a wireless equipment controller 50. For the first wireless equipment controller described above, please refer to the structure shown in FIG. 5. The wireless equipment controller 50 includes a processing module 501 and an interface module 502. The processing module 501 is configured to generate a carrier establishment request. The carrier establishment request is used to request to establish a first carrier of the first wireless equipment controller. The first wireless equipment controller is any one of at least two wireless equipment controllers connected to the wireless equipment. The carrier establishment request includes an identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. The identifier of the first wireless equipment controller indicates to apply for a physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the wireless equipment. The at least two wireless equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the wireless equipment. In addition, the interface module 502 is configured to send a carrier establishment request to the wireless equipment.

[0179] In this embodiment, any one of the multiple radio equipment controllers connected to the radio equipment may send a carrier establishment request to the radio equipment, and request to establish a first carrier by using a physical resource corresponding to the first radio equipment controller in the radio equipment. Therefore, the multiple radio equipment controllers may independently manage the physical resource in the radio equipment. When the multiple radio equipment controllers share the same radio equipment, the flexibility of the management of the radio equipment by the radio equipment controller may be improved.

[0180] The main steps of the resource management method provided in this application are described below with reference to Fig. 6. The wireless device controller and the wireless device execute the following steps:

[0181] Step 601: A first wireless device controller sends a carrier establishment request to a wireless device. In response, the wireless device obtains a carrier establishment request from the first wireless device controller.

[0182] The first wireless device controller is one of at least two wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device controller. In particular, for the connection manner between the first wireless device controller and the wireless device, please refer to the related description corresponding to Figure 2A or Figure 2B. The details are not described in this specification.

[0183] In addition, the carrier establishment request is used to request to establish a first carrier for the first wireless equipment controller, and the carrier establishment request is also used to request the wireless equipment to use some physical resources, so that the wireless equipment can be understood as using the physical resources to establish the first carrier for the first wireless equipment controller.

[0184] The physical resources include, but are not limited to, frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, carrier resources, and flow rate resources.

[0185] In the following, physical resources are described separately.

[0186] The first physical resource information is determined based on the content carried in the carrier establishment request, and the first physical resource information indicates the physical resources required to establish the first carrier.

[0187] A frequency band resource refers to a frequency band or a frequency domain range used when a carrier is established.

[0188] It should be understood that whether to use FDD mode or TDD mode for frequency band resources is related to the carrier that needs to be established by the wireless device controller. The duplex mode of frequency band resources is not limited in this application.

[0189] In addition, the power resource refers to the multiple of the power of the established carrier amplified by the power amplifier.

[0190] In addition, the amount of channel resources refers to the amount of occupied radio frequency link channels.

[0191] It should be noted that the transmission devices of the channels in the wireless device are independent, so the power of the channels in the wireless device is also independent from each other.

[0192] In addition, the amount of carrier resources refers to the amount of carriers that can be processed by the wireless device.

[0193] In addition, the amount of flow volume resources refers to the amount of service flows of a terminal user that can be processed by a wireless device at the same moment.

[0194] It should be understood that the flow volume resource is a type of baseband processing resource.

[0195] It should be understood that the physical resources are merely examples listed for ease of understanding by the reader. In practical applications, the wireless device may further provide other types of physical resources for at least two wireless device controllers. This application does not limit the specific physical resources provided by the wireless device.

[0196] In addition, for examples of frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, carrier resources, and flow amount resources, please refer to the related descriptions in the above embodiment corresponding to Figure 2A, and details will not be described in this specification.

[0197] The carrier establishment request includes an identifier of a first wireless device controller, the identifier of the first wireless device controller indicating to request physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller.

[0198] Optionally, if information regarding physical resources corresponding to different wireless equipment controllers in the first resource table is stored in different memory locations, the wireless device may query only the memory page of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the memory module based on the identifier of the first wireless equipment controller, without traversing the memory locations of the entire first resource table.

[0199] Optionally, the wireless device may further perform a validity check on the carrier establishment request based on the identifier of the first wireless device controller. For example, the wireless device determines whether the carrier establishment request is from the wireless device controller indicated by the identifier of the first wireless device controller based on the identifier of the first wireless device controller. This solution helps prevent other wireless device controllers from maliciously forging the carrier establishment request of the first wireless device controller and affecting the carrier establishment of the first wireless device controller.

[0200] In addition, the carrier establishment request further carries some information required to establish the first carrier.

[0201] In a possible implementation, the carrier establishment request further includes a first carrier parameter, the first carrier parameter indicating a characteristic of the first carrier.

[0202] For example, if operator 1 configures an FDD LTE 2T2R carrier with a bandwidth of 20M on the first radio equipment controller via a network management device, a transmit frequency of 2110MHz-2130MHz and a receive frequency of 1920MHz-1940MHz are used. In this case, the first carrier parameters in the carrier establishment request are "bandwidth=20M, duplex mode=FDD, standard=LTE, transmit mode=2T, receive mode=2R, and frequency band=2.1GHz".

[0203] It should be understood that the wireless device generally does not directly use the first carrier parameters to establish the first carrier. Generally, the wireless device needs to first convert the first carrier parameters into the first physical resource information, and then the wireless device generates the first carrier according to the first physical resource information. For details, please refer to the related description in step 602 below.

[0204] In another possible implementation, the carrier establishment request further includes the first physical resource information.

[0205] For example, when the operator 1 configures an FDD LTE 2T2R carrier with a bandwidth of 20M on the first radio equipment controller through a network management device, a transmission frequency of 2110MHz-2130MHz and a reception frequency of 1920MHz-1940MHz are used. In this case, when the carrier establishment request directly carries the first physical resource information, the first physical resource information in this example includes a frequency band resource "2.1GHz (transmission frequency 1950MHz-1970MHz and reception frequency 2140MHz-2160MHz)", a power resource "2.1GHz 20W / channel", a channel resource "2.1GHz 2T", an uplink flow amount resource "4 flows", and a downlink flow amount resource "4 flows".

[0206] Specifically, for the description of the first carrier parameter and the first physical resource information, please refer to the related description in Figure 2A and Figure 2B, and the details will not be described in this specification.

[0207] Step 602: The wireless device determines first physical resource information based on the carrier establishment request.

[0208] The first physical resource information indicates physical resources required to establish the first carrier.

[0209] In addition, for descriptions of frequency band resources, power resources, channel resources, carrier resources, and flow rate resources, please refer to the related descriptions in step 601. Details will not be described in this specification.

[0210] In this embodiment, the wireless device determines the first physical resource information in different manners based on different content carried in the carrier establishment request.

[0211] In a possible implementation, the carrier establishment request carries a first carrier parameter, the first carrier parameter indicating a characteristic of the first carrier, in which the wireless device generates the first physical resource information based on the first carrier parameter according to a preset rule corresponding to the first wireless device controller, the preset rules corresponding to different wireless device controllers in the at least two wireless device controllers being different.

[0212] The preset rule may be understood as a processing logic of a service processing module (which may also be understood as service processing software) in a wireless device, and different service processing modules correspond to different wireless device controllers. When different service processing modules have different service processing logics, the different service processing modules correspond to different preset rules. In this embodiment, the preset rule may be understood as a rule for converting a first carrier parameter into a first wireless resource information. When the first carrier parameter is input to a service processing module corresponding to another wireless device controller (e.g., a second service processing module corresponding to a second wireless device controller), the second service processing module may not be able to identify the first carrier parameter or convert the first carrier parameter into a first physical resource information.

[0213] In another possible implementation, the carrier establishment request directly carries the first physical resource information, in which case the wireless device obtains the first physical resource information directly from the carrier establishment request.

[0214] In this embodiment, two implementations of a carrier establishment request are provided, and two implementations of determining the first physical resource information are also provided accordingly. In practical application, the wireless device may use any one of the above implementations, which is not particularly limited in this specification.

[0215] Step 603: The wireless device determines whether to establish a first carrier based on the first physical resource information and the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller.

[0216] At least two radio equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the radio equipment. Specifically, different radio equipment controllers may use different physical resources arranged in the radio equipment, in other words, the physical resources in the radio equipment are assigned to at least two radio equipment controllers, and the at least two radio equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the radio equipment. In other words, information such as the radio equipment controller to which the physical resources in the radio equipment are assigned and the physical resources allowed to be used by each radio equipment controller is determined. Therefore, when the radio equipment knows the physical resources that need to be used when the first radio equipment controller applies to establish the first carrier based on the first physical resource information, the radio equipment needs to determine the relationship between the physical resources indicated by the first physical resource information and the physical resources corresponding to the first radio equipment controller in the radio equipment to determine whether to establish the first carrier.

[0217] In this embodiment, the wireless device stores a first resource table. The first resource table includes physical resources corresponding to at least two wireless device controllers. Specifically, the wireless device determines the physical resources corresponding to each wireless device controller based on the first resource table, in other words, the wireless device records the physical resources that can be used by each wireless device controller in the first resource table. For the first resource table, please refer to the related description of Table 1-1. Details will not be described in this specification.

[0218] For example, the first resource table may be pre-selected and configured by a user or dynamically generated by the wireless device. For example, before the wireless device receives a carrier establishment request from the first wireless device controller, the wireless device obtains a resource configuration message. The resource configuration message includes the first resource table.

[0219] The carrier establishment request includes an identifier of a first radio equipment controller. The identifier of the first radio equipment controller indicates to apply for a physical resource corresponding to the first radio equipment controller. Therefore, the radio equipment first queries the physical resource corresponding to the first radio equipment controller in the first resource table according to the identifier of the first radio equipment controller. Then, the radio equipment determines whether to allow the establishment of the first carrier according to the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information and the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first radio equipment controller in the first resource table.

[0220] The wireless device may determine whether to establish the first carrier in the following two implementations.

[0221] In one implementation, if the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is less than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first radio equipment controller, the radio equipment decides to allow establishment of the first carrier, and the radio equipment performs steps 604 and 605.

[0222] In another implementation, if the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is greater than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first radio equipment controller, the radio equipment determines that the physical resource corresponding to the first radio equipment controller is insufficient to establish the first carrier, and the radio equipment performs only step 606 instead of steps 604 and 605.

[0223] Step 604: The wireless device establishes a first carrier by using a physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information.

[0224] At this stage, if the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information is less than the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first radio device controller, the radio device decides to allow the establishment of the first carrier, and establishes the first carrier through a digital processing module and an analog processing module in the radio device. The digital processing module includes a circuit or device having a digital signal processing function such as an up-converter, a down-converter, and a digital-to-analog converter. The analog processing module includes a circuit or device having an analog signal processing function such as an intermediate frequency amplifier, a filter, a frequency mixer, or a power amplifier.

[0225] The implementation of the wireless device establishing the first carrier by using physical resources is not limited in this application. For the manner in which the digital processing module and the analog processing module in the wireless device establish the first carrier, please refer to the manner in the prior art.

[0226] Step 605: The wireless device updates the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless device controller in the first resource table based on the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information.

[0227] In this embodiment, after determining to allow the establishment of the first carrier based on the first physical resource information, the wireless device further updates the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table based on the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information. Specifically, the wireless device subtracts the resource amount of the physical resource indicated by the first physical resource information from the resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table to obtain an updated resource amount of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0228] Optionally, the wireless device further stores the first physical resource information to record the physical resource used to establish the first carrier.

[0229] Step 606: The wireless device sends a carrier establishment response to the first wireless device controller.

[0230] In a possible implementation, if the wireless device determines in step 603 that the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller are insufficient to establish the first carrier, the wireless device sends a carrier establishment response to the first wireless device controller. The content carried in the carrier establishment response indicates that the establishment of the first carrier has failed. In this implementation, a specific time sequence between step 606 and steps 604 and 605 is not limited, and step 606 may be performed after step 603.

[0231] In another possible implementation, if the wireless device determines in step 603 that the physical resources corresponding to the first wireless device controller are insufficient to establish the first carrier, and the wireless device successfully establishes the first carrier in step 604, the wireless device sends a carrier establishment response to the first wireless device controller. The content carried in the carrier establishment response indicates that the establishment of the first carrier is successful. In this implementation, the specific time sequence between step 606 and step 605 is not limited, and step 606 may be performed after step 604.

[0232] In this embodiment, a wireless device may be connected to multiple wireless device controllers, and the wireless device may obtain a carrier establishment request from one of the multiple wireless device controllers, determine the physical resources used to establish a carrier based on the carrier establishment request, and then determine whether to establish a carrier based on the physical resources and the physical resources corresponding to the wireless device controller in the wireless device. Thus, multiple wireless device controllers may share the same wireless device, which may increase the flexibility of managing the wireless device by the wireless device controller.

[0233] In a possible implementation, the wireless equipment controller may inquire about the use of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller. Specifically, the wireless equipment receives a resource inquiry message from a first wireless equipment controller. The resource inquiry message is used to inquire about the use information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment of the wireless equipment. The resource inquiry message includes an identifier of the first wireless equipment controller. The wireless equipment inquires about the use information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller in the first resource table. The wireless equipment transmits the use information of the physical resource corresponding to the first wireless equipment controller to the first wireless equipment controller.

[0234] In this implementation, it is proposed that each service processing module can inquire about the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller, and feed back the usage information of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller to the wireless equipment controller. This solution helps to prevent the wireless equipment from erroneously reporting the usage of the physical resource corresponding to the wireless equipment controller to the wireless equipment controller.

[0235] In a possible implementation, the wireless device may further report failure information at the granularity of a wireless device controller. Specifically, the wireless device obtains failure information. The failure information indicates at least one type of failed physical resource in the wireless device. The wireless device determines at least one second wireless device controller from the at least two wireless device controllers. The second wireless device controller is a wireless device controller that uses the physical resource indicated by the failure information. The wireless device transmits the failure information to the second wireless device controller.

[0236] In this implementation, it is proposed that a wireless device may detect a failure of a physical resource, and determine a failure impact scope, i.e., which wireless device controller (which is referred to as a second wireless device controller in this implementation) is affected by the failed physical resource based on the failure of the physical resource. Then, instead of sending failure information to another wireless device controller, the wireless device sends failure information only to the second wireless device controller. In this implementation, the wireless device can accurately feedback the failure to the wireless device controller, and the wireless device is prevented from feedbacking the failure to all wireless device controllers connected to the wireless device.

[0237] In addition, the present application provides a computer program product. The computer program product includes one or more computer instructions. For example, the method related to the wireless device in FIG. 6 is implemented. For example, the computer instructions may be transmitted from one website, computer, server, or data center to another website, computer, server, or data center in a wired (e.g., coaxial cable, optical fiber, or Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)) or wireless (e.g., infrared, radio, or microwave) manner. The computer-readable storage medium may be any available medium accessible by a computer, or may be a data storage device, such as a server or a data center, that integrates one or more available media. The available media may be magnetic media (e.g., floppy disks, hard disk drives, or magnetic tapes), optical media (e.g., digital versatile discs (DVDs)), semiconductor media (e.g., solid-state drives (SSDs) (also called solid-state drives)), etc.

[0238] In addition, the present application further provides a computer-readable storage medium, the storage medium storing a computer program, the computer program being executed by a processor to implement the method for the wireless device in FIG.
