LiDAR SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

Abstract

To provide a LiDAR system for a vehicle that, when the emission direction of a laser beam with maximum intensity is different from the optical axis direction of an irradiation device in an irradiation range, can secure a necessary search while reducing the total light consumption in the irradiation range.SOLUTION: A LiDAR system 10 comprises an irradiation device 12 that irradiates an irradiation range 13 with a laser beam, and a light receiving device 14 that receives reflected light 46 from a search range 17 in a light receiving range 15. In the irradiation range 13, an irradiation-side main optical axis 41 corresponding to the route of the laser beam with maximum intensity is set to be deviated from an irradiation-side center optical axis 40 extending on a center line of the irradiation range 13, and a light receiving-side center optical axis 42 extending on a center line of the light receiving range 15 is set to be closer to the irradiation-side center optical axis 40 than the irradiation-side main optical axis 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
