Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a urine absorbent pad holder used to hold a urine absorbent pad (a pad that absorbs leaked urine) for preventing urine leakage in an appropriate position and shape within underwear. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, urine absorbing pads, also called urine leakage pads or urine collection pads, have been widely used as a measure against urine leakage. Since urine absorbing pads can quickly absorb urine, they can effectively prevent not only underwear but also clothes such as pants and skirts from getting wet.
[0003] Urine absorbent pads include disposable pads that contain water-absorbent polymers like paper diapers, as well as reusable cloth pads, and the urine absorption performance of all types of urine absorbent pads is improving day by day.
[0004] However, unless the urine absorption pad is set in the underwear in the correct position and shape to cover the urethral outlet and directly receive leaked urine, the desired urine absorption effect may not be achieved. In particular, when using sheet-type urine absorption pads, simply setting them in the underwear can easily cause them to shift position or become deformed, making them unable to absorb urine when necessary.
[0005] Therefore, as shown in the following Patent Documents 1 and 2, underwear-type urine absorbent pad holders such as pants have been developed, and with such underwear-type urine absorbent pad holders, by wearing the urine absorbent pad holder as underwear, a sheet-type urine absorbent pad can be firmly fixed inside while maintaining its shape.
[0006] Also, as shown in the following Patent Document 3, a urine absorption pad holder that is not an underwear type but is worn inside underwear has been developed. The urine absorption pad holder in the following Patent Document 3 is equipped with a pad fastener part that grips the urine absorption pad, a holding part like a waist belt that presses the pad fastener part against the lower abdomen, and a support part that connects the front and rear sides of the holding part through the crotch to stably fix the holding part to the lower abdomen (Patent Document 3: Claim 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0007] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 4109036 [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 5492640 [Patent Document 3] Patent No. 7117475 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0008] According to the urine absorption pad holders in Patent Documents 1 and 2, urine leakage can be easily prevented by simply setting a urine absorption pad and wearing it. However, the urine absorption pad holder must be worn as underwear, which may cause the user to feel negative emotions such as inferiority or humiliation, and may be noticed by others when changing clothes, etc.
[0009] On the other hand, the urine absorption pad holder of Patent Document 3 is used inside underwear, so there is no need to wear underwear specifically designed to prevent urinary leakage. However, the urine absorbent pad holder has a structure specifically designed to hold a bag-shaped urine absorption pad, and although it can absorb not only small amounts of urine due to urinary leakage but also normal amounts of urine, it is not designed to absorb small amounts of urine that accidentally leak using a sheet-shaped urine absorption pad. In addition, the urine absorption pad holder of Patent Document 3 was developed exclusively for male users, and is not designed for use by female users.
[0010] Furthermore, in the urine absorption pad holder of Patent Document 3, the support part connects the front and rear of the holding part through the crotch, so the support part touches the user's anus or the vicinity thereof, which is unsanitary. Therefore, regardless of whether the urine absorption pad is replaced or not, there is a possibility that the urine absorption pad holder itself will have to be replaced. [Means for solving the problem]
[0011] The present invention provides a urine absorption pad holder which effectively solves the problems associated with the conventional urine absorption pad holder described above, and which can easily and reliably prevent urine leakage and can be used comfortably by the user.
[0012] In brief, the urine absorption pad holder according to the present invention is a holder for holding a rectangular sheet-shaped urine absorption pad, comprising a circular waistband portion placed around the waist of a user, a pair of first holding portions suspended from the front side of the waistband portion, and a pair of second holding portions respectively provided via strap portions on the rear side of the waistband portion, the first holding portions engaging with the front end portion of the urine absorption pad to suspend and hold the front end portion, while the second holding portions engaging with the left and right side portions of the urine absorption pad, respectively, to hold the engaged portions while spreading them in the left and right directions, thereby allowing the urine absorption pad to be applied to the urethral outlet of the user in an appropriate posture, and also hygienic as there is no part that comes into contact with the user's anus.
[0013] Preferably, each of the first and second holding portions is comprised of a short band portion and a clip portion provided at the free end of the short band portion, thereby enabling the urine absorption pad to be securely held while allowing the urine absorption pad to have a moderately loose fit and not giving a feeling of pressure to the user.
[0014] More preferably, the clip portion can be firmly engaged with the urine absorbent pad at a desired position by clamping and fitting the urine absorbent pad.
[0015] Furthermore, by providing the strap portion with a length adjustment mechanism, the position of the urine absorption pad can be appropriately adjusted based on the user's body shape, sex, etc.
[0016] Furthermore, the strap portion has elasticity, which allows for a more comfortable loose fit. Effect of the Invention
[0017] The urine absorption pad holder according to the present invention can not only properly absorb urine that accidentally leaks, but also provides a loose fit to prevent urine leakage while minimizing discomfort and feeling of use to the user.
[0018] Furthermore, since the user does not need to wear underwear or clothes specifically designed to absorb urine, the user can easily take measures against urinary incontinence without being noticed by those around them. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0020] Hereinafter, a urine absorption pad holder according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figs.
[0021] 1 and 2, a urine absorption pad holder 1 according to the present invention is a holder for holding a rectangular sheet-like urine absorption pad P that covers the urethral outlet of a user. The urine absorption pad holder 1 basically comprises a circular waistband part 2 placed around the waist of a user, a pair of first holding parts 3 suspended from the front side of the waistband part 2 (toward the lower abdomen of the user), and a pair of second holding parts 5 respectively attached via strap parts 4 to the rear side of the waistband part 2 (toward the buttocks of the user).
[0022] The waistband portion 2 may be in the form of a belt or a string, as long as it can be placed around the waist of the user. Preferably, it is in the form of a belt so that it comes into surface contact with the waist of the user, and as shown in Figures 1 and 2, it has a removable part 2a made of a synthetic resin buckle or the like, and a length adjustment part 2b made of a synthetic resin adjuster or the like. The material of the waistband portion 2 is preferably cotton, acrylic, polyester, or other material that feels good against the skin.
[0023] 1 and 2, each of the first holding parts 3 suspended from the front side of the waistband part 2 engages with the front end part of the urine absorbent pad P to suspend and hold the front end part. Thus, the front end part of the urine absorbent pad P is held so as not to shift downward, while allowing upward shifting.
[0024] Preferably, the first holding part 3 is composed of a short band part 3a and a clip part 3b provided at the free end of the short band part 3a. With this configuration, the clip part 3b can reliably engage with the urine absorbent pad P, and the short band part 3a can ensure a certain degree of movement. Therefore, the urine absorbent pad P can be reliably held, while the urine absorbent pad P can be made to fit loosely to prevent the user from feeling an unnecessary pressure.
[0025] The short band parts 3a can be made of the same material as the waist band part 2. It is preferable that the short band parts 3a are fixed to the waist band part 2. This is to ensure the positioning of the urine absorbent pad P that is held by the short band parts 3a. As described later, when a clip consisting of a pair of engaging members is used as the clip parts 3b, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the short band parts 3a are provided corresponding to the respective clips 3b.
[0026] The clip portion 3b is not particularly limited as long as it can hold and engage the urine absorbent pad P, and a clip consisting of a pair of fitting members such as known synthetic resin hook and eye rivets can be used. In addition, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, it is preferable for the clip portion 3b to engage with a thin portion on the edge of the urine absorbent pad P where gathers are often provided.
[0027] Moreover, a pair of second holding parts 5 provided on the rear side of the waistband part 2 via strap parts 4 engage with the left side part of the urine absorbent pad P, and the other second holding part 5 engages with the right side part of the urine absorbent pad P, and both second holding parts 5 pull the engaged parts, so that the relevant parts of the urine absorbent pad P are held while being spread in the left and right directions. Therefore, the shape of the urine absorbent pad P can be effectively maintained in the part near the user's crotch, which is easily deformed by being compressed from the left and right directions.
[0028] It is preferable that the second holding part 5 is also configured with a short band part 5a and a clip part 5b provided at the free end of the short band part 5a, similar to the above-mentioned first holding part 3. With such a configuration, the urine absorbent pad P can be securely held, while the urine absorbent pad P can be made to fit the user appropriately loosely, and the user does not feel an unnecessary sense of pressure.
[0029] Moreover, the short band portion 5a and the clip 5b constituting the second holding portion 5 are similar to the short band portion 3a and the clip 3b described as constituent members of the first holding portion 3, and therefore description thereof will be omitted here.
[0030] The strap portion 4 connecting the second holding portion 5 and the waistband portion 2 is preferably in the form of a string as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, but may also be in the form of a band depending on the implementation.
[0031] Preferably, the strap portion 4 is made of an elastic material such as a rubber string or a rubber belt, in order to allow the urine absorption pad P to fit loosely.
[0032] The strap portion 4 is preferably fixed loosely to the waistband portion 2 via a tag-shaped anti-misalignment portion 2c. This is to prevent misalignment that affects the retention of the urine absorbent pad P while allowing some misalignment.
[0033] The strap portion 4 having the above-mentioned structure is placed on the outer side of the user's buttocks B as shown in Fig. 4. Therefore, it does not come into contact with the user's anus, which is hygienic.
[0034] Furthermore, the urine absorption pad holder 1 according to the present invention can also be constructed using the waistband part of an existing underwear, as shown in Fig. 3. That is, the waistband part of the existing underwear can be used as the waistband part 2 of the urine absorption pad holder 1, and the first holding part 3 can be provided on the front side of the waistband part 2 via a tag-like misalignment prevention part 2d, and the strap part 4 and the second holding part 5 can be provided on the rear side of the waistband part 2 via a tag-like misalignment prevention part 2c. Therefore, unlike conventional underwear-type urine absorption pad holders, the urine absorption pad holder 1 according to the present invention can be incorporated into existing underwear.
[0035] As described above, the urine absorption pad holder 1 of the present invention can not only properly absorb urine that accidentally leaks, but also provides a loose fit to prevent urine leakage while minimizing discomfort and feeling of use to the user.
[0036] Furthermore, since the user does not need to wear underwear or clothes specifically designed to absorb urine, the user can easily take measures against urinary incontinence without being noticed by those around them.
[0037] In the urine absorption pad holder 1 according to the present invention, at least one pair of the first holding portion 3 and the second holding portion 5 is needed to reliably hold the urine absorption pad P, but three or more may be used if necessary. [Explanation of symbols]
