Abstract

To provider a container set in attitude where an opening automatically faces up in the empty state of the container and self-supportive in attitude inclined so that the outer surface of a lid material can face up obliquely in a state where a content is inserted and the opening is closed by the lid material, and a package.SOLUTION: A container 1 comprises a bottom wall 2, a peripheral wall 3, a flange 4, and a storage 5. When the storage 5 is empty, in inclined attitude where a connection part between the bottom wall 2 and the peripheral wall 3 and the outer end of the flange 4 come into contact with a virtual horizontal surface H and the bottom wall 2 is inclined with respect to the virtual horizontal surface H, a vertical projection point of the gravity center X of the empty container 1 to the virtual horizontal surface H is positioned closer to the center side of the bottom wall 2 than a vertical line V passing through the connection part between the bottom wall 2 and the peripheral wall 3 and orthogonal to the virtual horizontal surface H. When a content is inserted into the storage 5, in the inclined attitude, a vertical projection point of the gravity center of the content-filled container 1 to the virtual horizontal surface H is positioned closer to the contact side of the flange 4 with the virtual horizontal surface than the vertical line V.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
