Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a compressed air generating device, and more particularly to a compressed air generating device in which a compressor, an air tank, and an electromagnetic drain trap are casing-packed within a single housing. [Background technology]

[0002] Compressed air generated by a compressor contains a large amount of water vapor from the atmosphere as well as foreign matter such as dust and oil mist. Conventionally, devices such as air tanks and air dryers that separate water vapor from compressed air and remove it as drainage have been installed in compressed air pressure circuits, and the water vapor has been mechanically discharged to the outside by connecting a drain trap to the devices. In addition, in order to shorten the length of the piping for sending compressed air to the downstream stage, packaging various devices in a housing has been selected as one mode.

[0003] However, in the configuration of the conventional compressed air pressure circuit, when an electromagnetic drain trap is used for drain discharge, an operation panel for manually operating the drain during maintenance or checking the operation is often provided adjacent to the solenoid valve, i.e., the operation panel is also provided below the device in which the electromagnetic drain trap is provided, which causes the problem that the worker must lower his / her body position each time he / she performs manual operation. Also, when the work target is a compressed air generating device packaged in a housing, the door of the housing must be opened once, the necessary work must be performed at the work location, and then the door must be closed again, which causes the problem that the work is very cumbersome. Therefore, there has been a demand for a compressed air generating device that allows an operator to easily perform work related to each device packaged in a housing, particularly an electromagnetic drain trap, without having to significantly change his or her body position.

[0004] In order to solve the above problems, the applicant developed a technology for setting the height of the bottom of a drain tank connected to a compressed air pressure circuit to 180 cm or less, and proposed the technology described in JP 2016-53411 A (Patent Document 1).

[0005] However, while the technical proposal in Patent Document 1 has the effect of enabling work on a drain trap connected to a compressed air circuit installed at a high altitude to be done while standing up, rather than at a high altitude using a stepladder or the like, it is difficult to adapt this technology to a drain trap packaged in a housing installed on the floor, and the above-mentioned problems are not yet solved.

[0006] The applicant focused on the location of the control panel that operates the solenoid valve of the electromagnetic drain trap in the conventional compressed air circuit described above, and came up with the idea of whether it might be possible to operate the solenoid valve from outside the housing, in the same way as the control panel of the compressor installed as a compressed air generating device. Based on this idea, he developed a compressed air generating device in which the compressor, air tank, and electromagnetic drain trap are all arranged within a single housing, and the control panel for the solenoid valve is arranged on the front side of the housing, which has led to the proposal of the "package type compressed air generating device" of the present invention. [0007] [Patent Document 1] JP 2016-53411 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0008] In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a compressed air generating device packaged in a housing, in which the control panel for the electromagnetic drain trap is disposed on the front side of the housing. [Means for solving the problem]

[0009] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a compressed air generating device comprising at least a compressor, an air tank, and an electromagnetic drain trap within a single housing, in which the compressor's control panel is disposed at a designated location on the front of the housing, and the electromagnetic drain trap's control panel is disposed at a designated location on the front of the housing.

[0010] The present invention also employs a means in which the operation panels for the compressor and the electromagnetic drain trap are disposed in the same location on the front side of the housing.

[0011] Furthermore, the present invention employs a means in which the air tank and the drain tank are connected by a straight drain introduction pipe disposed substantially vertically.

[0012] Furthermore, the present invention employs a means in which an inlet pipe disposed between the drain tank and the electromagnetic drain trap, and an outlet pipe disposed from the electromagnetic drain trap toward the outside, are disposed approximately horizontally. Effect of the Invention

[0013] According to the packaged compressed air generating device of the present invention, the control panel of the electromagnetic drain trap is disposed at a designated location on the front of the housing, which has the excellent effect of enabling an operator to manually operate the solenoid valve without having to significantly change his or her body position.

[0014] In addition, according to the packaged compressed air generating device of the present invention, by adopting an embodiment in which the control panels for the compressor and electromagnetic drain trap are arranged in the same location on the front of the housing, it is possible to operate the compressor and the electromagnetic drain trap in a single location.

[0015] Furthermore, in the packaged compressed air generation device of the present invention, the air tank and the drain tank are connected by a straight drain inlet pipe arranged approximately vertically, so that the drain that has turned into water droplets due to condensation of water vapor in the air tank can smoothly flow into the drain tank.

[0016] Furthermore, in the packaged compressed air generating device of the present invention, the inlet piping connecting the drain tank and the solenoid valve, and the outlet piping capable of discharging the drain from the solenoid valve to the outside are arranged approximately horizontally, which makes the flow of drain caused by operation of the solenoid valve smoother and makes it easier to discharge the drain to the outside. [Diagram 3] 1 is a diagram illustrating a main portion of an embodiment of a package-type compressed air generating device according to the present invention. FIG. [Figure 4] 1 is a diagram illustrating a main portion of an embodiment of a package-type compressed air generating device according to the present invention. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0018] The greatest feature of the packaged compressed air generating device 1 of the present invention is that it employs a means for housing 2 in which a compressor 3, an air tank 4, and an electromagnetic drain trap 10 are encased as various devices that make up the compressed air pressure circuit, and for disposing a compressor operation panel 5 and an electromagnetic drain trap operation panel 6 at predetermined locations on the front of the housing 2. Hereinafter, an embodiment of a package-type compressed air generating device 1 according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0019] The packaged type compressed air generating device 1 according to the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below, but can be modified as appropriate within the scope of the technical concept of the present invention, i.e., within the scope of shapes, dimensions, materials, etc. that can achieve the same functional effects.

[0020] Fig. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing an embodiment of a packaged compressed air generator 1 according to the present invention. Fig. 2 is an explanatory diagram showing another embodiment of the packaged compressed air generator 1 according to the present invention, in which a compressor operation panel 5 and an electromagnetic drain trap operation panel 6 are disposed in the same location. Fig. 3 is an explanatory diagram showing a main part of an embodiment of the packaged compressed air generator 1 according to the present invention, in more detail, an explanatory diagram showing a connection state between an air tank 4 and a drain tank 11. Fig. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing a main part of an embodiment of the packaged compressed air generator 1 according to the present invention, in more detail, an explanatory diagram of an electromagnetic drain trap 10. The packaged compressed air generation device 1 according to the present invention is a device in which a compressor 3, an air tank 4, and an electromagnetic drain trap 10 (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "various devices") are housed in a single housing 2, and the compressed air generated by the compressor 3 is sent to the compressed air utilization device via air piping 23 after the moisture contained therein is separated as drain in the air tank 4. The drain separated from the air tank 4 flows into and is stored in the drain tank 11, and is then discharged to the outside by the operation of the solenoid valve 12.

[0021] The compressor 3 and the air tank 4, and the air tank 4 and the equipment using compressed air, are connected by air piping 23 made of a hollow tube, which forms a flow path for sending compressed air from the compressor 3 to the equipment using compressed air. There is no particular limitation on the diameter of the air pipe 23 connecting them, but it is possible to reduce the pressure loss of the compressed air by making the diameter of the air pipe 23 the same as the diameter of the discharge port of the compressor 3. In addition, there is no particular limitation on the length of the air pipe 23, but by shortening the length of the air pipe 23 and narrowing the area in contact with the outside air, it is possible to prevent a drop in the temperature of the compressed air sent into the air pipe 23 and to suppress the generation of drainage in the air pipe 23.

[0022] The casing of the present invention is a structure that covers all of the various devices that make up a compressed air pressure circuit capable of generating compressed air to be sent to compressed air-using equipment, and is capable of blocking at least the sides and top from the outside world. There are no particular limitations on the casing method, and possible methods include completely covering all of the various devices with a metal box, or constructing part of the side surface from glass or reinforced plastic, etc., so that some or all of the various devices can be visible from outside the housing 2. 1, the housing 2 is provided with an air pipe 23b that sends the compressed air that has passed through various devices to downstream devices that use the compressed air. In addition, although not shown, an air intake port that allows the compressor 3 to take in outside air, an air vent used for temperature control inside the housing 2, and the like are provided as necessary. There is no particular limitation on the locations where the various devices are disposed, and for example, the compressor 3 and the air tank 4 may be disposed in a substantially straight line in a plan view. By adopting such an arrangement, it is possible to reduce the number of bends in the air piping 23 that occur when the devices are connected to each other, and it is possible to reduce pressure loss and drainage caused by collisions of compressed air at the bends.

[0023] The compressor 3 is a device that compresses air and raises its pressure to a predetermined pressure (for example, 0.7 MPa) to generate compressed air. There are various types of compressors 3, such as reciprocating, rotary, and centrifugal, depending on the structure for generating compressed air. There is no particular limitation on the type of compressor 3 used in the present invention, and any type and structure can be used. In addition, an air pipe 23a for sending the generated compressed air to the air tank 4 is connected to the compressor 3.

[0024] The compressor 3, which is encased in the housing 2, has a compressor operation panel 5, which allows the compressor 3 to be operated, disposed at a predetermined location on the front of the housing 2. The compressor operation panel 5 allows the compressor 3 to be operated without opening the housing 2. The functions of the compressor operation panel 5 are not particularly limited, and various functions such as a function to turn the compressor 3 on and off, a function to start and stop the generation of compressed air, a function to increase and decrease the amount of compressed air generated, and a function to determine the compression ratio are provided as necessary. There are also no particular limitations on the location of the compressor operation panel 5, as long as it is on the front of the housing 2, but it is preferable to install it in a position that is easily visible to an operator, for example, at a height of 1 m or more.

[0025] The air tank 4 is a container for temporarily storing the compressed air generated by the compressor 3, and is disposed downstream of the compressor 3 via an air pipe 23a. After storing the compressed air that flows in, the air tank 4 sends the compressed air at a constant pressure via an air pipe 23b to downstream equipment. The provision of the air tank 4 contributes to suppressing the water hammer effect (water hammer phenomenon) of the fluid (compressed air) when the compressor 3 starts or stops, and contributes to reducing the load on downstream equipment. A socket 24 is provided in the lower area of the air tank 4, and drainage generated in the air tank 4 flows from the socket 24 through the drain introduction pipe 20 into the drain tank 11.

[0026] The drain inlet pipe 20 is a pipe that allows the drain generated in the air tank 4 to flow into the electromagnetic drain trap 10. There are no particular limitations on the length or shape of the drain inlet pipe 20, but it is preferable that the pipe be a straight pipe extending vertically so as to provide the shortest distance for connection to the drain tank 11 disposed below the air tank 4. There are also no particular limitations on the diameter of the drain inlet pipe 20, but it is preferable that the diameter be equal to or greater than the diameter of the socket 24. By adopting such an embodiment, the drain flows smoothly into the electromagnetic drain trap 10 and the occurrence of air binding can be suppressed. 3, a preferred embodiment is one in which the drain inlet pipe 20 is provided with a valve 25, a union 26, and a check valve 27. By adopting this embodiment, even if an apparatus abnormality occurs due to malfunction of the electromagnetic drain trap 10, the check valve 27 prevents backflow of drain from the drain tank 11, while the valve 25 stops the inflow of drain, and the union 26 can be removed to facilitate replacement or maintenance of the drain tank 11. The valve 25 used in this embodiment is preferably a ball valve having a full bore diameter (same diameter) so as not to provide resistance to the inflow of drain.

[0027] The electromagnetic drain trap 10 is a device for discharging drainage from the air tank 4 to the outside, and is composed of a drain tank 11, an electromagnetic valve 12, and a valve unit 13. The electromagnetic drain trap 10 opens and closes a valve portion 13 by controlling the opening and closing action of an electromagnetic valve 12, and mechanically discharges the drainage stored in a drain tank 11 to the outside. The detailed structure of the electromagnetic drain trap 10 used in the present invention is not particularly limited and may be any conventionally known technology. The electromagnetic drain trap 10 is basically automatically controlled by a water level sensor. When the electromagnetic drain trap 10 is manually controlled during maintenance or when checking its operation, the electromagnetic drain trap operation panel 6 is operated. The electromagnetic drain trap operation panel 6 is disposed at a predetermined position on the front side of the housing 2 as shown in FIG. 1. The functions of the electromagnetic drain trap operation panel 6 are not particularly limited, and may include, for example, a function for turning the power of the electromagnetic drain trap 10 on and off, a function for forcibly discharging or stopping the discharge of drain, and a function for increasing or decreasing the discharge amount. There are also no particular limitations on the location of the electromagnetic drain trap operation panel 6 as long as it is on the front side of the housing 2, but it is preferable to install it in a position that is easily visible to an operator, for example, at a height of 1 m or more. 2, it is also preferable to provide the compressor operation panel 5 and the electromagnetic drain trap operation panel 6 in the same location on the front side of the housing 2 as a single operation panel. By adopting such an embodiment, manual operations by an operator can be performed in one location, for example, to increase the amount of compressed air generated by the compressor 3 while increasing the discharge amount of the electromagnetic drain trap 10, which contributes to improving work efficiency.

[0028] The drain tank 11 is a tank that stores drain that flows in from the air tank 4 via a drain inlet pipe 20. When the solenoid valve 12 is opened, the drain stored in the drain tank 11 is discharged to the outside. The detailed structure of the drain tank 11 is not particularly limited as long as it is based on conventionally known technology, and for example, as shown in Fig. 4, a configuration is conceivable in which a partition is provided in the drain tank 11 to form a storage chamber 16 and a sensor chamber 17. By adopting such a configuration, the drain discharged from the air tank 4 is temporarily stored in the storage chamber 16, and foreign matter such as dust contained in the drain is separated by settling or floating at the bottom of the drain or near the water surface. After that, only clean drain flows into the sensor chamber 17 through a drain inlet pipe 18 provided penetrating the partition 15, and is discharged to the outside by the solenoid valve 12.

[0029] A water level sensor connected to the solenoid valve 12 is provided on the inner surface of the drain tank 11 . The water level sensors provided on the inner surface of the drain tank 11 are used as conditions for controlling the opening and closing of the solenoid valve 12, and at least an upper limit sensor 8 and a lower limit sensor 9 are provided. The water level sensor may be one using a conventionally known technology, and for example, a resistance type water level sensor is preferable. As shown in Fig. 4, when the sensor chamber 17 is provided, the upper limit sensor 8 is provided above the drain inlet pipe 18, and the lower limit sensor 9 is provided below the drain inlet pipe 18 and above the drain outlet 19. Although not shown, by providing a full water sensor above the upper limit sensor 8 and near the top surface, and a low water sensor below the lower limit sensor 9 and near the bottom surface, it is also possible to detect an abnormality in the drain water level in the drain tank 11. Incidentally, since the upper limit sensor 8 and the lower limit sensor 9 may be activated by fluctuations in the water surface, it is desirable to install them at a location away from the drain inlet and the drain inlet pipe 18.

[0030] The solenoid valve 12 controls the opening and closing operation of the valve portion 13, and performs automatic control based on a detection signal from a water level sensor provided in a sensor chamber 17. The solenoid valve 12 determines whether the valve unit 13 is open or closed based on the presence or absence of detection signals transmitted from the upper limit sensor 8 and the lower limit sensor 9 provided in the sensor chamber 17, and mechanically controls the opening and closing of the valve unit 13. Specifically, when detection signals are received from both the upper limit sensor 8 and the lower limit sensor 9, the valve unit 13 is controlled to open so as to discharge the condensate to the outside, and when the detection signals from both the upper limit sensor 8 and the lower limit sensor 9 are cut off, the valve unit 13 is controlled to close so as to stop the discharge of the condensate to the outside and store the condensate. The specific structure of the solenoid valve 12 may be any known structure as long as it is possible to control the valve unit 13 using a water level sensor. The solenoid valve 12 is connected to the solenoid drain trap operation panel 6, and when an operator operates the solenoid drain trap operation panel 6, the mechanical control by the solenoid valve 12 stops. In addition to the discharge operation using a water level sensor, it is also possible to provide a timer or the like in the solenoid valve 12, which is not shown, to perform a periodic discharge operation.

[0031] The valve unit 13 is a valve controlled by the solenoid valve 12, and controls the discharge of drainage from the drain tank 11 by opening and closing the valve. The valve section 13 is disposed midway between an inlet pipe 21, which is a pipe connected to the drain discharge port 19, and an outlet pipe 22, which is a pipe for discharging the drain that has flowed into the inlet pipe 21 to the outside. The valve is opened and closed under the control of the solenoid valve 12, thereby connecting and disconnecting the inlet pipe 21 and the outlet pipe 22. The structure of the valve section 13 may use any conventionally known technology, but in addition to controlling the opening and closing of the valve by the solenoid valve 12 using the water level sensor described above, a structure will be used that allows an operator to manually control the opening and closing of the valve section 13 by operating the electromagnetic drain trap control panel 6, and to directly operate the power supply of the electromagnetic drain trap 10.

[0032] The drain outlet 19 is provided in a lower region of the drain tank 11 and is an outlet for drain stored in the drain tank 11. An inlet pipe 21 connected to the drain outlet 19 is connected to the valve unit 13, whereby the discharge of the drain in the drain tank 11 is controlled. There is no particular limitation on the location where drain outlet 19 is installed, but if it is provided at the very bottom of drain tank 11, settled foreign matter will also be discharged together with the drain and may enter the moving part of valve unit 13 and cause a malfunction, so it is preferable to provide it at a slightly upper position away from the bottom as shown in Figure 4. In addition, there is no particular limitation on the diameter of drain outlet 19, but by making it the same diameter as or larger than the inlet pipe 21 connected to drain outlet 19, it becomes possible to discharge the drain without applying excessive pressure when it is discharged. In addition, when the above-mentioned storage chamber 16 is disposed in the drain tank 11 and the storage chamber 16 and the sensor chamber 17 are formed within the drain tank 11, the drain outlet 19 will naturally be provided in the sensor chamber 17.

[0033] The inlet pipe 21 is a pipe that sends the drain discharged from the drain outlet 19 to the valve unit 13, and is disposed so that both ends are connected to the drain outlet 19 and the valve unit 13, respectively. The outlet pipe 22 is a pipe that discharges the drain sent from the inlet pipe 21 to the outside when the valve unit 13 is opened, and has one end connected to the valve unit 13 and the other end disposed facing the outside. Although there is no particular limitation on the diameters of the inlet pipe 21 and the outlet pipe 22, making them approximately the same diameter as the opening diameter of the valve portion 13 makes it possible to keep constant the pressure applied when the condensate is discharged and reduce the burden on the valve portion 13. In addition, by arranging the inlet pipe 21 and the outlet pipe 22 substantially horizontally or with a downward incline toward the outside, it becomes possible to prevent the condensate from accumulating or flowing back inside the pipes when the condensate discharge stops due to the closing of the valve portion 13.

[0034] The main operations and functions of the compressed air generating device 1 consisting of the above components will be described with reference to FIG. The packaged compressed air generating device 1 has a compressor 3 and an air tank 4 arranged via air pipes 23a, 23b, and an electromagnetic drain trap 10 arranged at the bottom of the air tank 4, with the entire device encased in a housing 2. First, the compressed air generated by the compressor 3 is sent through the air piping 23a and flows into the air tank 4. At this time, the compressed air contains water vapor and dust from the atmosphere. The compressed air that flows into the air tank 4 has water vapor and foreign matter separated as drainage due to collision with the inner wall of the air tank 4, adhesion to dust, cooling by outside air, etc., and then the air is sent through the air piping 23b to a downstream device that uses compressed air.

[0035] Next, the operation of discharging the drainage separated in the air tank 4 will be described with reference to Figs. The drain separated from the compressed air in the air tank 4 hangs down the inner wall of the air tank 4 due to gravity, or falls downward from the air tank 4 due to gravity, and flows into the drain inlet pipe 20 via the socket 24. The drain that flows into the drain inlet pipe 20 flows into the storage chamber 16 of the drain tank 11, and is temporarily stored in the storage chamber 16, causing foreign matter such as dust contained in the drain to float or settle. The drain from which the foreign matter has been separated then flows into the sensor chamber 17 via the drain inlet pipe 18, and is discharged to the outside or stored in the sensor chamber 17 depending on the opening and closing operation of the valve unit 13.

[0036] Next, the opening and closing operation of valve portion 13 by solenoid valve 12 and the drainage operation in sensor chamber 17 will be described with reference to FIG. When the valve unit 13 is in a closed state, the drain water level in the sensor chamber 17 continues to rise due to the drain flowing in from the storage chamber 16 via the drain inlet pipe 18, and when the water level in the sensor chamber 17 reaches the upper limit sensor 8 (water level A), a detection signal is sent from the upper limit sensor 8 to the solenoid valve 12. The solenoid valve 12 opens the valve unit 13 in response to the detection signal from the upper limit sensor 8, thereby connecting the flow paths of the inlet pipe 21 and the outlet pipe 22. The drain stored in the sensor chamber 17 is then discharged to the outside via the drain outlet 19, the inlet pipe 21, the valve unit 13, and the outlet pipe 22, causing the drain water level in the sensor chamber 17 to drop. Furthermore, when the valve unit 13 is in an open state, the drain water level in the sensor chamber 17 continues to drop as the drain is discharged. Then, when the drain water level reaches below the lower limit sensor 9 (water level B), the detection signal transmitted from the lower limit sensor 9 to the solenoid valve 12 is cut off. When the detection signal from the lower limit sensor 9 is cut off, the solenoid valve 12 closes the valve unit 13, stopping the discharge of the drain. As the valve unit 13 is closed, the flow path connecting the inlet pipe 21 and the outlet pipe 22 is cut off, and the drain water level in the sensor chamber 17 continues to rise.

[0037] Although the basic configuration and operation / function of the packaged compressed air generating device 1 according to the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the configuration shown in the above embodiment and drawings. For example, an intercooler or aftercooler for lowering the temperature of compressed air may be provided before or after the air tank 4, and may be housed in the housing 2 together with various other devices. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to separate and remove water vapor contained in the compressed air generated by the compressor 3 in a place other than the air tank 4, and it is possible to send cleaner compressed air to downstream devices that use compressed air. In addition, by providing the operation panels for the intercooler and aftercooler in front of the housing 2, it is possible to operate the various housed devices only from the front of the housing 2, which is an excellent effect.

[0038] As described above, the packaged compressed air generation device 1 of the present invention can achieve space saving for the entire device by casing the compressor 3, air tank 4, and electromagnetic drain trap 10 in a single housing 2, and also contributes to improving work efficiency by arranging the compressor operation panel 5 and the electromagnetic drain trap operation panel 6 on the front side of the housing 2. [Industrial Applicability]

[0039] The present invention can be used as a space-saving, highly efficient compressed air generating device in any field that requires compressed air, such as food processing, electronic parts, car body painting, etc. Therefore, it is believed that the "package type compressed air generating device" of the present invention has great industrial applicability.
