Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a method for attaching a luminescent sheet and an advertising board. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, advertising boards using digital signage and the like have been known. The advertising board is configured, for example, by attaching a light-emitting sheet to a glass plate such as a window glass. The light-emitting sheet is a flexible film having a plurality of light-emitting elements, and a desired advertisement is displayed on the glass plate by selectively illuminating the plurality of light-emitting elements.
[0003] Patent Document 1 discloses a method for attaching a window film to glass. Patent Document 1 describes that when attaching a window film to a window glass, a method in which water is sprayed onto the window glass and an adhesive layer of the window film is aligned with the wet glass surface, a so-called water attachment method, is preferable from the viewpoint of re-attachment, repositioning, etc. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2016-168770 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] Generally, the luminescent sheets used for billboards are large in area and heavy. Therefore, in the water-pasting method disclosed in Patent Document 1, it is difficult to position the luminescent sheet, and there is a risk that the luminescent sheet may slip off when pasting it on the glass plate. In addition, when pasting the luminescent sheet on the glass plate, there is a risk that air bubbles due to dust or foreign matter may remain between the luminescent sheet and the glass plate. If air bubbles remain, it is necessary to peel off the luminescent sheet up to the location of the air bubbles, but there is a risk that the conductor that supplies power to the luminescent sheet may be disconnected.
[0006] Therefore, there is a demand for a method of attaching a luminescent sheet and an advertising board that can accurately position the sheet when attached to a glass substrate and prevent breakage. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] One embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention is a method for attaching a luminescent sheet to a main surface of a glass substrate, the luminescent sheet comprising a plurality of luminescent bodies, a conductor arranged from a first side portion along a first direction parallel to the main surface to supply power to the luminescent bodies, and an adhesive layer for adhering to the main surface, the method including a first step of preparing the glass substrate, a second step of preparing a plurality of the luminescent sheets corresponding to each of the divided regions obtained by dividing the main surface into a plurality of regions, and a third step of attaching each of the luminescent sheets in sequence to the plurality of divided regions.
[0008] According to this embodiment, since a plurality of light-emitting sheets are attached to a plurality of divided regions, the light-emitting sheets can be accurately positioned even if the area of the glass substrate is large, and air bubbles are unlikely to remain, so that the light-emitting sheets can be attached reliably. As a result, it is not necessary to peel off and reattach the attached light-emitting sheets, and breakage of the conductor can be prevented. In addition, even if any of the light-emitting sheets breaks due to breakage of the conductor, it is economical because only the broken light-emitting sheet can be replaced to return to normal.
[0009] In another embodiment of the luminescent sheet attachment method according to the present invention, the first step includes cleaning the main surface.
[0010] According to this embodiment, the principal surface is cleaned to remove oil and the like before the luminescent sheet is attached, so that the adhesion of the luminescent sheet to the glass substrate can be improved.
[0011] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, the method further comprises, before the third step, an inspection step of confirming a continuity state of the conductor.
[0012] According to this embodiment, by including an inspection step, defective luminescent sheets, such as those in which the luminescent body does not emit light, can be removed before application, thereby preventing defective luminescent sheets from being erroneously applied.
[0013] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, in the third step, a reference line is provided in an internal region of the glass substrate, and the luminescent sheet is attached by aligning the reference line with a reference side portion of the luminescent sheet that is located opposite the first side portion.
[0014] According to this embodiment, since the reference line is provided in the internal region of the glass substrate, a space can be provided on the first side portion for electrical connection with the drive substrate that supplies power to the conductor.
[0015] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, in the third step, after aligning the position of the reference line with the reference edge portion of the luminescent sheet, the luminescent sheet is attached to the divided area from the side of the first edge portion.
[0016] There are many electrical connection points with the drive substrate on the first side. Therefore, if the light-emitting sheet is attached from the reference side toward the first side and air bubbles remain between the glass substrate and the light-emitting sheet near the first side, it is necessary to peel off the light-emitting sheet from the first side to remove the air bubbles. In this case, there is a risk of the conductor being broken by folding the first side. According to this embodiment, if the light-emitting sheet is attached from the first side, there is a low possibility that air bubbles will remain near the first side, and the sheet will not be peeled off to the first side during the process of removing the air bubbles.
[0017] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, in the third step, the luminescent sheet is attached along the first direction.
[0018] According to this embodiment, the light emitting sheet can be attached without being misaligned from the aligned state.
[0019] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, the luminescent sheet further comprises a protective sheet for protecting the adhesive layer, and in the third step, the protective sheet on the side of the first side portion of the luminescent sheet is removed to temporarily fix the adhesive layer and the main surface, and then the luminescent sheet is attached while peeling off the protective sheet along the first direction.
[0020] In this embodiment, after removing the protective sheet on the first side and temporarily fixing the adhesive layer and the main surface, the protective sheet is peeled off along the first direction while the luminescent sheet is attached, so that the luminescent sheet can be attached accurately without shifting from its aligned state.
[0021] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, in the third step, after aligning the position of the reference line with the reference edge portion of the luminescent sheet, the luminescent sheet is attached to the divided area from the side of the reference edge portion.
[0022] According to this embodiment, since the light emitting sheet is attached from the aligned reference side portion, the light emitting sheet can be attached without being misaligned.
[0023] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, in the third step, the luminescent sheet is attached along the first direction.
[0024] According to this embodiment, the light emitting sheet can be attached without being misaligned from the aligned state.
[0025] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, the luminescent sheet further comprises a protective sheet for protecting the adhesive layer, and in the third step, the protective sheet on the side of the reference edge portion of the luminescent sheet is removed to temporarily fix the adhesive layer and the main surface, and then the luminescent sheet is attached while peeling off the protective sheet along the first direction.
[0026] According to this embodiment, after removing the protective sheet on the side of the reference edge portion and temporarily fixing the adhesive layer and the main surface, the protective sheet is peeled off along the first direction while the luminescent sheet is attached, so that the luminescent sheet can be attached accurately without shifting from its aligned state.
[0027] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, the removal area for removing the protective sheet is 4 cm 2 That's all.
[0028] According to this embodiment, the area where the protective sheet is to be removed is 4 cm 2 If the above is the case, the luminescent sheet can be securely temporarily fixed to the glass substrate.
[0029] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, in the third step, a light-shielding member having a lower transmittance than the glass substrate is placed on the side opposite the main surface of the glass substrate, and then the luminescent sheet is attached.
[0030] According to the present embodiment, the incidence of light into the glass substrate from the side opposite to the main surface of the glass substrate is suppressed, which makes it easier to position the luminescent sheet on the glass substrate and to check for the presence or absence of air bubbles between the luminescent sheet and the glass substrate when adhering the luminescent sheet to the main surface of the glass substrate.
[0031] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, in the third step, the luminescent sheet is attached while being pressed toward the main surface using a jig having a length equal to or greater than the width of the side of the first side portion of the luminescent sheet.
[0032] According to this embodiment, the entire light emitting sheet can be attached to the glass substrate by simply moving the jig once along the first direction, and air bubbles are unlikely to remain.
[0033] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, the divided regions do not include the outer edge of the glass substrate.
[0034] According to this embodiment, since the division region does not include the outer edge of the glass substrate, by attaching the luminescent sheet to the division region, for example, it is possible to apply a waterproof material to the outer periphery of the luminescent sheet.
[0035] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, the shortest distance between the outer edge and a second side portion perpendicular to the first side portion is longer than the shortest distance between the first side portion and the outer edge.
[0036] According to this embodiment, it is possible to secure a gap for attaching separate parts for protection from rain, sun, or droppings, or a gap for applying a waterproofing material, on the upper part of the glass substrate. In addition, although the light-emitting sheet is prone to trapping heat and becoming hot, this embodiment can prevent thermal cracking caused by the temperature of the periphery of the glass substrate becoming too high.
[0037] In another embodiment of the method for attaching a luminescent sheet according to the present invention, after the third step, the method further includes a waterproofing step of covering the luminescent sheet with a waterproof material between the outer edge of the glass substrate and the luminescent sheet.
[0038] According to this embodiment, dust and moisture do not get into the inside of the luminescent sheet. In addition, the waterproof material can prevent the luminescent sheet from peeling off from the glass substrate due to aging.
[0039] One embodiment of an advertising board according to the present invention is an advertising board comprising a glass substrate and a light-emitting sheet attached to a main surface of the glass substrate, the light-emitting sheet having a plurality of light-emitting bodies arranged at a predetermined interval, a conductor arranged from a first edge of the main surface along a first direction parallel to the main surface to supply power to the light-emitting bodies, a transparent supporting substrate supporting the plurality of light-emitting bodies and the conductors, an encapsulation layer encapsulating the plurality of light-emitting bodies and the conductors on the main surface side of the transparent supporting substrate, a transparent protective substrate laminated on the main surface side of the encapsulation layer, and an adhesive layer bonding the transparent protective substrate to the main surface.
[0040] According to this embodiment, by controlling the light emitters of the light emitting sheet, any advertisement can be displayed on the glass substrate.
[0041] In another embodiment of the advertising board according to the present invention, the transparent protective substrate is a UV-cut film.
[0042] According to this embodiment, it is possible to suppress deterioration in the performance of the luminescent body and discoloration of the encapsulation layer caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays from the side of the glass substrate opposite to the luminescent sheet.
[0043] In another embodiment of the advertising board according to the present invention, the luminescent sheet further includes a UV-cut layer laminated on a side of the transparent support substrate opposite to the main surface.
[0044] According to this embodiment, it is possible to suppress deterioration in the performance of the luminescent body and discoloration of the encapsulation layer caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays from the luminescent sheet side of the glass substrate.
[0045] In another embodiment of the advertising board according to the present invention, when Young's modulus is E and thickness in a direction perpendicular to the main surface is t, E·t 3 The relationship of the transparent supporting substrate>(the transparent protective substrate+the adhesive layer) is satisfied.
[0046] E t 3 is a measure of the flexibility of the material, and E t 3 The larger the value, the lower the flexibility. According to this embodiment, the transparent support substrate is less flexible and more rigid than the transparent protective substrate + adhesive layer. Therefore, in the light-emitting sheet, the transparent support substrate is disposed on the farther side of the glass substrate than the light-emitting body, so that the light-emitting body can be protected during use of the advertisement board. In addition, when the light-emitting sheet is pressed against the glass substrate to attach the light-emitting sheet to the main surface of the glass substrate, the transparent support substrate can receive and disperse the pressing force, and can prevent the load from acting locally on the light-emitting body, the conductor, and the encapsulation layer.
[0047] In another embodiment of the advertising board according to the present invention, the E·t 3 The relationship: (the transparent protective substrate+the adhesive layer)>the encapsulating layer is satisfied.
[0048] According to this embodiment, the encapsulation layer is more flexible than the transparent protective substrate and adhesive layer, and is therefore more flexible. Therefore, even if the luminescent sheet is temporarily bent when it is attached to the glass substrate, excessive load is not applied to the luminescent body and the conductor.
[0049] In another embodiment of the advertising board according to the present invention, the thickness of the transparent support substrate in a direction perpendicular to the main surface is greater than the total thickness of the transparent protective substrate and the adhesive layer.
[0050] According to this embodiment, it is possible to obtain a light-emitting sheet that is flexible while maintaining its rigidity.
[0051] In another embodiment of the advertising board of the present invention, the shortest distance between the second side perpendicular to the first side and the outer edge of the glass substrate is longer than the shortest distance between the first side and the outer edge.
[0052] According to this embodiment, it is possible to secure a gap for attaching separate parts for protection from rain, sun, or droppings, or a gap for applying a waterproofing material, on the upper part of the glass substrate. In addition, although the light-emitting sheet is prone to trapping heat and becoming hot, this embodiment can prevent thermal cracking caused by the temperature of the periphery of the glass substrate becoming too high. [0054] Hereinafter, the embodiment of the luminescent sheet attachment method and the advertisement board according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the embodiments described below are merely examples for explaining the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to these embodiments. Therefore, the present invention can be implemented in various forms without departing from the gist of the present invention.
[0055] [First embodiment] [Advertising board configuration] 1 and 2 are schematic explanatory diagrams showing an advertising board 1 used as digital signage outdoors as an example of a first embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the advertising board 1 is configured by attaching a plurality of rectangular light-emitting sheets 10 (four sheets in this embodiment) to a main surface 2a of a rectangular glass plate 2 (an example of a glass substrate). The advertising board 1 is erected with one side of the glass plate 2 placed on a support base 3 and the other three sides surrounded by a U-shaped (C-shaped) protective cover 4. In the following, the left-right direction parallel to the main surface 2a in FIG. 1 is referred to as the X-direction (an example of a first direction), and the up-down direction is referred to as the Y-direction.
[0056] In this embodiment, one luminescent sheet 10 is a flexible, vertically elongated transparent sheet having a length of about 480 mm in the X direction, a length of about 680 mm in the Y direction, and a thickness of about 2.5 mm. The advertising board 1 has a total of four luminescent sheets 10 attached to one glass plate 2, two along the X direction and two along the Y direction. The four luminescent sheets 10 are in contact with each other at the sides. In addition, when the four luminescent sheets 10 are attached to the glass plate 2, the entire outer periphery of the four luminescent sheets 10 is covered with a waterproof material 5. In this way, the adjacent luminescent sheets 10 and the waterproof material 5 are arranged on the outer periphery of each luminescent sheet, so that dust and moisture do not get into the interior of each luminescent sheet 10.
[0057] [Configuration of the luminescent sheet] As shown in FIG. 4, the light-emitting sheet 10 is composed of a light-emitting body 12, a copper foil 14 (an example of a conductor), an adhesive layer 16, a transparent support substrate 18, an encapsulation layer 20, a transparent protective substrate 22, and a UV-cut layer 24. The light-emitting body 12 is made of a light-emitting diode (LED), and is encapsulated in the encapsulation layer 20 in a state where a plurality of light-emitting bodies 12 are arranged at a predetermined interval on the transparent support substrate 18 (see FIG. 3). In this embodiment, the transparent support substrate 18 is made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and the encapsulation layer 20 is made of silicon OCR (Optical Clear Resin). The transparent support substrate 18 has a thickness of about 0.29 mm. The transparent support substrate 18 supports a plurality of light-emitting bodies 12 and the copper foil 14. The encapsulation layer 20 encapsulates the plurality of light-emitting bodies 12 and the copper foil 14.
[0058] A transparent protective substrate 22 is disposed on the opposite side of the transparent supporting substrate 18 with respect to the light emitting body 12. That is, the light emitting body 12 and the encapsulation layer 20 are disposed between the transparent supporting substrate 18 and the transparent protective substrate 22. In this embodiment, the transparent protective substrate 22 is an ultraviolet (UV) cut film and is made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
[0059] An adhesive layer 16 is disposed on the opposite side of the transparent protective substrate 22 to the encapsulation layer 20. The adhesive layer 16 is made of silicone OCA (Optical Clear Adhesive) having adhesive properties. The adhesive layer 16 is closely adhered to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2, and fixes the luminescent sheet 10 to the glass plate 2. The total thickness of the transparent protective substrate 22 and the adhesive layer 16 is about 0.25 mm. Therefore, the thickness of the transparent support substrate 18 described above is thicker than the total thickness of the transparent protective substrate 22 and the adhesive layer 16. However, the thickness of the transparent support substrate 18 and the total thickness of the transparent protective substrate 22 and the adhesive layer 16 may be the same.
[0060] The thickness of the transparent supporting substrate 18 and the total thickness of the transparent protective substrate 22 and the adhesive layer 16 vary depending on the size (length in the X direction and length in the Y direction) of the luminescent sheet 10. For example, if the size of the luminescent sheet 10 is larger than that of this embodiment, the thickness of the transparent supporting substrate 18 and the total thickness of the transparent protective substrate 22 and the adhesive layer 16 will also be large.
[0061] A UV-cut layer 24 made of a UV-cut film is disposed on the opposite side of the transparent support substrate 18 from the light-emitting body 12. As a result, the light-emitting body 12 and the encapsulation layer 20 are disposed between two UV-cut films (the transparent protective substrate 22 and the UV-cut layer 24), which suppresses performance deterioration of the light-emitting body 12 and discoloration of the encapsulation layer 20 caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays for a long period of time.
[0062] As shown in FIG. 3, the light emitter 12 emits light by being supplied with power from the copper foil 14 arranged on the transparent support base material 18. Hereinafter, of the two sides parallel to the Y direction of each light emitting sheet 10 attached to the glass plate 2, the side closer to the protective cover 4 on which the driving substrate 9a is arranged is referred to as the first side portion 10a, and the side farther from the protective cover 4 (closer to the center of the glass plate 2) is referred to as the reference side portion 10b (see also FIG. 1). Also, of the two sides parallel to the X direction of each light emitting sheet 10, the side closer to the protective cover 4 on which the driving substrate 9a is not arranged is referred to as the second side portion 10c. In this embodiment, the second side portion 10c is perpendicular to the first side portion 10a. The copper foil 14 extends from the first side portion 10a toward the reference side portion 10b along the second side portion 10c (X direction) and is electrically connected to the light emitter 12. The end of the copper foil 14 on the first side portion 10a side is connected to the driving substrate 9a arranged inside the protective cover 4. The driving substrate 9a is controlled by a control device 9 (see FIG. 1). The control device 9 controls the driving substrate 9a to supply power to the light emitters 12 via the copper foil 14 to selectively emit light, thereby causing the advertising board 1 to display a desired advertisement on the glass plate 2 and function as a digital signage.
[0063] As a result, as shown in Figure 4, the luminescent sheet 10 is laminated in the following order from the side closest to the glass plate 2: adhesive layer 16, transparent protective base material 22, encapsulation layer 20, luminescent body 12, copper foil 14, transparent support base material 18, and UV-cut layer 24.
[0064] In the luminescent sheet 10 of this embodiment, if the Young's modulus of the transparent support substrate 18 is E1, the thickness (the length in the direction perpendicular to the main surface 2a when attached to the glass plate 2) is t1, the Young's modulus of the transparent protective substrate 22 and the adhesive layer 16 is E2, the total thickness is t2, and the Young's modulus of the encapsulation layer 20 is E3, and the thickness is t3, then E1·t1 3 >E2·t2 3 >E3·t3 3 The materials and thicknesses of the transparent support substrate 18, the transparent protective substrate 22, the adhesive layer 16, and the encapsulation layer 20 are set so that the following relationship holds: E·t 3 is an index of the flexibility of the material, and E·t 3 The larger the value, the lower the flexibility.
[0065] The transparent support substrate 18 has low flexibility and high rigidity. Therefore, in the luminescent sheet 10, the transparent support substrate 18 is disposed on the farther side of the glass plate 2 than the luminescent body 12, so that the luminescent body 12 can be protected during use of the advertisement board 1. In addition, when the luminescent sheet 10 is pressed against the glass plate 2 to attach the luminescent sheet 10 to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2, the transparent support substrate 18 can receive and disperse the pressing force, and can prevent a load from acting locally on the luminescent body 12, the copper foil 14, and the encapsulation layer 20.
[0066] The encapsulation layer 20 is highly flexible and easily bends. Therefore, even if the luminescent sheet 10 is temporarily bent when being attached to the glass plate 2, an excessive load is not applied to the luminescent bodies 12 and the copper foil 14.
[0067] Furthermore, the relationship t1>t2 holds between the thickness t1 of the transparent support substrate 18 and the total thickness t2 of the transparent protective substrate 22 and the adhesive layer 16. This makes it possible to obtain a luminescent sheet 10 that is flexible while maintaining its rigidity.
[0068] [Method of attaching the luminescent sheet] Next, a method of attaching the luminescent sheet 10 to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2 (hereinafter, simply referred to as a method of attaching the luminescent sheet 10) will be described with reference to Figs. 5A to 5D. The method of attaching the luminescent sheet 10 includes a first step of preparing the glass plate 2, a second step of preparing a plurality of luminescent sheets 10 (four in this embodiment) corresponding to each of the divided regions 2b obtained by dividing the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2 into a plurality of regions, a third step of attaching the luminescent sheets 10 to the four divided regions 2b in order, and a fourth step having a waterproofing process of covering the entire outer periphery of the four attached luminescent sheets 10 with a waterproofing material 5. The first step and the second step may be performed in any order. In this embodiment, the number of divided regions 2b is four, and the divided regions 2b are divided into two in the X direction and two in the Y direction. Adjacent divided regions 2b are in contact with each other. In the following, a method of attaching the luminescent sheet 10 to the upper left divided region 2b of the glass plate 2 shown in Figs. 5A to 5D will be described. The method of attaching the light emitting sheet 10 to the other three divided regions 2b is the same as the method of attaching it to the upper left divided region 2b, so the explanation will be omitted.
[0069] The divided regions 2b are rectangular regions indicated by dashed lines in Figs. 5A to 5D. The divided regions 2b do not include the outer edge 2c of the glass plate 2. In this embodiment, the outer edge 2c of the glass plate 2 means the boundary between the glass plate 2 and the support base 3 and the protective cover 4 in the advertisement board 1. Each divided region 2b is set slightly inward (for example, 5 mm) from the outer edge 2c of the glass plate 2. In this embodiment, one luminescent sheet 10 has the same area and shape as one divided region 2b. Each luminescent sheet 10 is attached so as to overlap the respective divided region 2b of the glass plate 2. By attaching the luminescent sheet 10 to the divided region 2b, the waterproof material 5 can be applied to the entire outer periphery of the four luminescent sheets 10.
[0070] In the first step, it is preferable to clean the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2. This is because the adhesion of the luminescent sheet 10 to the glass plate 2 is improved by cleaning the main surface 2a to remove oil and the like from the main surface 2a.
[0071] The second step (before the third step) preferably includes an inspection step for checking the electrical continuity of the copper foil 14 of the luminescent sheet 10. By carrying out the inspection step, defective luminescent sheets 10 in which the luminous bodies 12 do not emit light can be removed before application, thereby preventing defective luminescent sheets 10 from being erroneously applied.
[0072] In the third step, first, as shown in FIG. 5A, a tape 6 (an example of a reference line) is attached along the Y direction to the center (an example of an internal region) in the X direction of the surface opposite to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2. At this time, the tape 6 is attached so that the center of the tape 6 is located at the boundary between the two divided regions 2b along the X direction. Then, as shown in FIG. 5B, the reference side portion 10b of the luminescent sheet 10 is aligned with the center of the tape 6 visible through the glass plate 2, thereby positioning the luminescent sheet 10 with respect to the tape 6 on the main surface 2a. Hereinafter, the positioning of the luminescent sheet 10 with respect to the tape 6 is also simply referred to as the positioning of the luminescent sheet 10. Note that instead of the center of the tape 6, one end portion 6a of the end portions 6a of the tape 6 along the Y direction may be attached so as to be located at the boundary between the two divided regions 2b along the X direction, and the reference side portion 10b of the luminescent sheet 10 may be positioned along the end portion 6a.
[0073] When positioning the luminescent sheet 10, a light-shielding member 7 may be placed on the glass plate 2 opposite the tape 6. The light-shielding member 7 has an area equal to or greater than the plate surface of the glass plate 2 and is a plate, cloth, paper, or the like with a lower light transmittance than the glass plate 2. The light-shielding member 7 is preferably a dark color such as black. By placing the light-shielding member 7, the incidence of light into the glass plate 2 from the opposite side to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2 is suppressed. This makes it easier to position the luminescent sheet 10 on the glass plate 2, and also makes it easier to check for the presence or absence of air bubbles between the luminescent sheet 10 and the glass plate 2 when adhering the luminescent sheet 10 to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2.
[0074] A protective sheet 28 is attached to the adhesive layer 16 of the luminescent sheet 10. Due to the protective sheet 28, the adhesive layer 16 is not exposed before attachment, and when positioning the luminescent sheet 10 with respect to the tape 6, the luminescent sheet 10 is not adhered to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2, allowing the luminescent sheet 10 to be freely moved relative to the glass plate 2. In this embodiment, the thickness of the protective sheet 28 is approximately 0.05 mm.
[0075] As shown in FIG. 5B, the protective sheet 28 attached to the adhesive layer 16 of the luminescent sheet 10 is divided into a first portion 28a on the first side 10a side of the luminescent sheet 10 and a second portion 28b on the reference side 10b side. The boundary between the first portion 28a and the second portion 28b is a cut in the protective sheet 28 along the Y direction, and the first portion 28a and the second portion 28b can be peeled off from the adhesive layer 16 independently. The area of the first portion 28a is significantly smaller than the area of the second portion 28b. That is, the boundary (cut) between the first portion 28a and the second portion 28b is provided on the first side 10a side rather than the center in the X direction of the luminescent sheet 10. The first portion 28a of the protective sheet 28 may be a part of the first side 10a side (for example, only the corner of the first side 10a and the second side 10c). At this time, the area from which the first portion 28a of the protective sheet 28 is to be removed (the area of the first portion 28a) is 4 cm 2 This is preferable because the luminescent sheet 10 will not slip off and can be reliably adhered and temporarily fixed to the glass plate 2 .
[0076] Next, while maintaining the reference side portion 10b of the luminescent sheet 10 positioned relative to the tape 6, the first portion 28a of the protective sheet 28 is peeled off, and the exposed adhesive layer 16 is pressed against the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2 to adhere (temporarily fix). When pressing the adhesive layer 16 of the luminescent sheet 10 against the main surface 2a, a jig 8 (see FIG. 5C) having a length equal to or greater than the length of the luminescent sheet 10 along the Y direction is used. The jig 8 is used to press the luminescent sheet 10 against the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2 from the UV cut layer 24 side (see FIG. 4), thereby adhering the adhesive layer 16 corresponding to the first portion 28a to the main surface 2a. By using the jig 8, the entire luminescent sheet 10 can be attached to the glass substrate without any air bubbles remaining by simply moving the jig 8 once along the X direction. Examples of the jig 8 include a rubber scraper, a cloth roll, and kitchen paper. If a jig shorter than the length of the luminescent sheet 10 along the Y direction is used for attachment, the jig needs to press the luminescent sheet 10 multiple times, which may result in air bubbles remaining inside the attached luminescent sheet 10. If air bubbles remain, the luminescent sheet 10 that has been attached once needs to be peeled off and attached again, which means that the luminescent sheet 10 is repeatedly bent and stretched during this process. This re-attachment may cause breakage of the copper foil 14 of the luminescent sheet 10.
[0077] Next, as shown in FIG. 5C, the second portion 28b of the protective sheet 28 is peeled off from the boundary with the first portion 28a along the X direction, and the exposed adhesive layer 16 is pressed with the jig 8 while the luminescent sheet 10 is attached to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2. This completes the attachment of the luminescent sheet 10 to the upper left divided region 2b as shown in FIG. 5D. Thereafter, for example, another luminescent sheet 10 is attached to the divided region 2b located at the upper right in FIG. 5D. At this time, the reference side portion 10b of the luminescent sheet 10 to be attached to the upper right is brought into contact with the reference side portion 10b of the attached upper left luminescent sheet 10 to perform positioning. Thereafter, the luminescent sheet 10 at the upper right is attached in the same procedure as the attachment method of the luminescent sheet 10 at the upper left. Next, the luminescent sheet 10 is attached to the divided region 2b located at the lower left and the divided region 2b located at the lower right in FIG. 5D in the same manner. This completes the attachment of the four light-emitting sheets 10 to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2. Next, the copper foils 14 of the attached four light-emitting sheets 10 are electrically connected to the drive substrate 9a. The tape 6 may be peeled off when attachment of the light-emitting sheets 10 to the divided region 2b located at the upper left in FIG. 5D is completed, or when attachment of the four light-emitting sheets 10 is completed. As long as the positioning of at least one light-emitting sheet 10 is completed, the tape 6 can be peeled off at any timing thereafter.
[0078] Finally, in the fourth step, a waterproofing process is performed in which the entire outer periphery of the four luminescent sheets 10 is coated with a waterproofing material 5 to cover them (see Figs. 2 and 4). This prevents dust and moisture from entering the interior of the luminescent sheets 10. The waterproofing material 5 also prevents the luminescent sheets 10 from peeling off from the glass plate 2 due to aging.
[0079] Second Embodiment Next, the configuration of the advertisement board 1 according to the second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. 6. In this embodiment, unlike the first embodiment, the protective cover 4 is arranged only on the left and right sides of the glass plate 2, and is not arranged on the upper part of the glass plate 2. In other words, the protective cover 4 is arranged only in a portion parallel to the first side portion 10a of the luminescent sheet 10, and is not arranged in a portion parallel to the second side portion 10c. The rest of the configuration is the same as in the first embodiment. Therefore, in the description of this embodiment, the same reference numerals are used for the portions having the same configuration as in the first embodiment, and detailed description of the same configuration is omitted.
[0080] In the advertising board 1 of this embodiment, the outer edge 2c of the glass plate 2 in a location where the protective cover 4 is not arranged is an exposed side of the glass plate 2. In this embodiment, the shortest distance in the Y direction between the second side portion 10c of the luminescent sheet 10 and the outer edge 2c is longer than the shortest distance in the X direction between the first side portion 10a and the outer edge 2c (e.g., 5 mm). In this embodiment, the shortest distance in the Y direction between the second side portion 10c of the luminescent sheet 10 and the outer edge 2c is 1 cm.
[0081] When installing the advertising board 1 outdoors, separate parts for protection from rain, sun, and droppings may be attached to the top of the glass plate 2. With the configuration of this embodiment, it is possible to secure gaps for attaching separate parts and gaps for applying the waterproofing material 5. Furthermore, when constructing the advertising board 1 by attaching the luminescent sheet 10 to the inside of a window, it is sufficient to place the protective cover 4 on the left and right. Furthermore, the luminescent sheet 10 is prone to trapping heat and becoming hot. With the configuration of this embodiment, it is possible to prevent thermal cracking caused by the temperature of the peripheral edge of the glass plate 2 becoming high.
[0082] Third Embodiment Next, the configuration of the advertising board 1 according to the third embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 7. This embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that multiple glass plates 2 are used, and accordingly, the location of the drive substrate 9a is different. Other than that, it has the same configuration as the first embodiment. Therefore, in the description of this embodiment, the same reference numerals are used for the parts having the same configuration as the first embodiment, and detailed description of the same configuration will be omitted.
[0083] In this embodiment, five glass plates 2 are arranged along the X direction. Adjacent glass plates 2 are in contact with each other, and no protective cover 4 is arranged between them. The protective cover 4 has a U-shape that surrounds the outermost sides of the five adjacently arranged glass plates 2. The driving substrate 9a is arranged on the inside of the portion of the protective cover 4 along the X direction and on the inside of the support base 3. In FIG. 7, the distance between the outer edge 2c of the glass plate 2 and the first side portion 10a of the light-emitting sheet 10, and the distance between the outer edge 2c and the second side portion 10c are drawn slightly wider for ease of viewing. In addition, at the boundary between the adjacent glass plates 2, the adjacent light-emitting sheets 10 are in contact with each other, but may be slightly spaced apart.
[0084] With this configuration, the multiple glass plates 2 can be arranged along the X direction with no gaps between them, so that the advertising board 1 can be used as a single digital signage spanning the multiple glass plates 2.
[0085] Other embodiments (1) In each of the above embodiments, the advertising board 1 is installed outdoors, but it may be installed in a semi-outdoor space. A semi-outdoor space is an intermediate space that connects the outdoors and the indoors, and is a space that is continuous with a building that has a roof. In addition, the advertising board 1 may be constructed by attaching the luminescent sheet 10 to the indoor side of a window of an existing building.
[0086] (2) In each of the above embodiments, an LED is used as the light-emitting body 12. However, the light-emitting body 12 is not limited to a normal LED and may be a mini LED or a micro LED, or may be an organic electroluminescence (light-emitting polymer) light-emitting element, quantum dots (semiconductor particles having a diameter of several nm, such as cadmium sulfide or cadmium selenide), or the like. It has been done.
[0087] (3) In each of the above embodiments, the materials of the transparent supporting substrate 18 and the transparent protective substrate 22 were both polyethylene terephthalate, but one or both of the transparent supporting substrate 18 and the transparent protective substrate 22 may be formed from glass.
[0088] (4) In each of the above embodiments, after positioning at the reference side portion 10b of the luminescent sheet 10, the first portion 28a of the protective sheet 28 on the first side portion 10a side is peeled off and adhered, and then the luminescent sheet 10 is attached to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2 toward the reference side portion 10b while peeling off the second portion 28b of the protective sheet 28, but this is not limited to the above. After positioning at the reference side portion 10b of the luminescent sheet 10, the second portion 28b of the protective sheet 28 on the reference side portion 10b side is peeled off and adhered, and then the luminescent sheet 10 is attached to the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2 toward the first side portion 10a while peeling off the first portion 28a of the protective sheet 28. In this case, the boundary (notch) between the first portion 28a and the second portion 28b is preferably provided on the reference side portion 10b side rather than the center of the luminescent sheet 10 in the X direction. In this case, the area from which the second portion 28b of the protective sheet 28 is to be removed (the area of the second portion 28b) may be 4 cm 2 More preferably, it is equal to or greater than this.
[0089] (5) In each of the above embodiments, tape 6 is used to position the reference side 10b of the light-emitting sheet 10, but this is not limited to this. A vertical measuring device or a laser marking device may be used to create a reference for aligning the reference side 10b.
[0090] (6) In the above embodiments, the tape 6 is attached parallel to the Y direction, which is the long side of the luminescent sheet 10, to provide a reference line in the vertical direction. However, the reference line may be provided in the X direction, which is the short side.
[0091] (7) In each of the above embodiments, the luminescent sheet 10 is vertically long, but it may be horizontally long (for example, the length in the X direction is 680 mm and the length in the Y direction is 480 mm). In this case, the tape 6 may be attached parallel to the X direction, which is the long side of the luminescent sheet 10, or parallel to the Y direction, which is the short side.
[0092] (8) In each of the above embodiments, a plurality of (four) luminescent sheets 10 are attached so as to cover the entire surface of the glass plate 2, but a configuration may be adopted in which a plurality of luminescent sheets 10 are attached only to a portion of the glass plate 2, for example, the upper half, the lower half, or the center of the glass plate 2. Also, a configuration may be adopted in which a plurality of luminescent sheets 10 are attached to two separate locations at the top and bottom.
[0093] (9) In each of the above embodiments, the sides of adjacent luminescent sheets 10 of the four luminescent sheets 10 are in contact with each other, but there may be small gaps between them. If there are gaps, the waterproof material 5 can be applied to the entire outer periphery of each luminescent sheet 10.
[0094] (10) In the above embodiment, the divided regions 2b are divided into two in the X direction and two in the Y direction, resulting in four divisions, but this is not limited to this. They may be divided into two, or into six or more. The number of divided regions 2b can be an optimal number depending on the size of the glass plate 2. However, even if the divided regions 2b are divided into six or more, it is preferable to keep the number of divisions in the Y direction to two or less. This is because the drive substrate 9a is arranged along the Y direction. [Industrial Applicability]
