[0037] Figure 1 is a three-dimensional cross-sectional view of a pressure sensing module according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 is an illustrative exploded view of a pressure sensing module according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. Figure 3 is an illustrative perspective view of an end cap portion of a pressure sensing module according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. Figure 4 is an illustrative exploded view of an end cap portion of a pressure sensing module according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

[0038] As shown in Figs. 1 to 4, in an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a pressure detection module is disclosed. The pressure detection module includes a pressure joint 22, a force sensing component 21, a strain gauge (not shown), an electrical connector 3, an electrical connection board 6, and an end cap 1. The pressure joint 22 is used to connect to a customer's pipeline (not shown) to be detected, and has a flow path 202 that is fluidly connected to the pipeline to be detected. The force sensing component 21 is connected to one end 220 of the pressure joint 22 and is fluidly connected to the pressure joint 22. The strain gauge is attached to a surface of the force sensing component 21 to detect the strain (i.e., elastic deformation) of the force sensing component 21. The electrical connector 3 includes a seat 30 and a pin 31 that penetrates the seat 30 and is fixed to the seat 30. The electrical connection board 6 is used to connect the pin 31 to the strain gauge. The end cap 1 includes a peripheral wall 10, an end wall 12, and an opening 11 opposite the end wall 12.

[0039] 1-4 , in the illustrated embodiment, the force sensing component 21 and the electrical connection board 6 are received in an internal cavity of the end cap 1, and one end 220 of the pressure fitting 22 is welded to the open end of the end cap 1 to seal the opening 11 in the end cap 1. A socket 13 is formed in an end wall 12 of the end cap 1, and a seat 30 is inserted into the socket 13 and welded to the end wall 12 to seal the socket 13 in the end cap 1.

[0040] 1-4, in the illustrated embodiment, the opening 11 and socket 13 of the end cap 1 are sealed by the pressure fitting 22 and the electrical connector 3, respectively, and thus both the force sensing component 21 and the strain gauge are sealed in the internal cavity of the end cap 1. Furthermore, the sealing structure of the present invention is simple, has high sealing reliability, and is low cost.

[0041] As shown in Figures 1-4, in the illustrated embodiment, the end cap 1 is welded to the end 220 of the pressure fitting 22 rather than directly welded to the force sensing component 21, thereby avoiding adverse effects on the force sensing component 21 and improving pressure detection accuracy.

[0042] 1 to 4, in the illustrated embodiment, a through hole 301 through which the pin 31 can pass is formed in the seat 30. The pin 31 passes through the through hole 301 and is bonded to the seat 30 by a glass sealing process, so that the outer peripheral surface of the pin 31 and the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 301 are firmly bonded to each other by the sintered glass 32.

[0043] As shown in Figures 1-4, in the illustrated embodiment, the seat 30 and the pin 31 are made of the same metal material or of metal materials having the same or similar thermal expansion coefficients. The thermal expansion coefficients of the seat 30 and the pin 31 are the same or similar to that of the glass 32. In this way, a gap between the seat 30 and the pin 31 during thermal expansion and contraction can be effectively prevented, and the reliability of the seal between the seat 30 and the pin 31 is improved.

[0044] 1-4, in an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the seat 30 and the pin 31 may be made of Kovar alloy, since the thermal expansion coefficient of Kovar alloy is very close to that of the glass 32. However, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment, and the seat 30 and the pin 31 may be made of other suitable metallic materials.

[0045] 1-4, in the illustrated embodiment, a coating (not shown) is electroplated onto the exposed surfaces of the seat 30 and the pins 31. When electroplating the coating, the electrical connector 3 is fully immersed in an electroplating solution to simultaneously form a coating on the exposed surfaces of the seat 30 and the pins 31. Thus, the present invention eliminates the need to electroplate multiple pins 31 and seats 30 separately, simplifying the electroplating process.

[0046] 1 to 4, in the illustrated embodiment, an annular projection 14 surrounding the socket 13 is formed on the outer surface of the end wall 12 of the end cap 1, and an annular flange 302 is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the seat 30. The annular flange 302 of the seat 30 is axially pressed against the upper surface of the annular projection 14 of the end cap 1 and welded to the upper surface of the annular projection 14 to seal the socket 13 of the end cap 1.

[0047] As shown in FIGS. 1-4, in the illustrated embodiment, the electrical connection board 6 includes a first rigid connection board 61, a second rigid connection board 62, and a flexible connection board 63. The first rigid connection board 61 is attached to the outer surface of the force sensing component 21 and is electrically connected to the strain gauge. The second rigid connection board 62 is electrically connected to the pin 31 of the electrical connector 3. The flexible connection board 63 is electrically connected between the first rigid connection board 61 and the second rigid connection board 62. In the illustrated embodiment, due to the flexibility of the flexible connection board 63, the pin 31 is not stressed, and therefore the pin 31 does not move relative to the seat 30, thereby not damaging the seal between the pin 31 of the electrical connector 3 and the seat 30, improving the reliability of the seal.

[0048] 1-4, in the illustrated embodiment, the first rigid connection board 61 is adhered to an outer surface of the force sensing component 21 by an insulating adhesive 61a. The first rigid connection board 61 and the second rigid connection board 62 are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance in the axial direction of the end cap 1.

[0049] 1 to 4, in the illustrated embodiment, the force sensing component 21 has a blind hole 201 communicating with a flow passage 202 of a pressure fitting 22. A bottom wall 21a of the blind hole 201 forms an elastically deformable membrane, and a strain gauge is attached to an outer surface of the bottom wall 21a of the blind hole 201 to detect strain of the bottom wall 21a of the blind hole 201. When the pressure fitting 22 is connected to a pipeline to be detected, the bottom wall 21a of the blind hole 201 is elastically deformed by the fluid pressure of the pipeline to be detected.

[0050] 1-4, in the illustrated embodiment, the force sensing component 21 and the pressure fitting 22 are formed as a single component. However, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment. For example, in another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the force sensing component 21 and the pressure fitting 22 may be two independent components that are formed separately and welded together.

[0051] As shown in FIGS. 1-4, in an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the end cap 1, force sensing component 21, and pressure fitting 22 may be formed from stainless steel, and the seat 30 and pin 31 of the electrical connector 3 may be formed from Kovar alloy.

[0052] As shown in Figures 1 to 4, in the illustrated embodiment, the pressure detection module further includes a threaded sleeve 23 for connecting the pressure fitting 22 to the pipeline to be detected, the threaded sleeve 23 is fitted onto the other end of the pressure fitting 22, and the threaded sleeve 23 is formed with a male thread 23a for threaded connection to the connection end of the pipeline to be detected.
