[0008] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an image forming apparatus 100 according to this embodiment. Fig. 1 shows the image forming apparatus 100 as viewed from the front. The image forming apparatus 100 is an intermediate transfer type image forming apparatus called a tandem type. The image forming apparatus 100 is provided with a plurality of image forming units 200 that form images to be transferred onto paper P, which is an example of a recording medium.
[0009] Each of the image forming units 200 includes a photoconductor drum 11 as an example of an image carrier. Each of the image forming units 200 uses a developer containing toner to form a toner image, which is an image to be transferred to paper P, on this photoconductor drum 11. In other words, each of the image forming units 200 uses a powder developer to form a toner image on the photoconductor drum 11. The developer in this embodiment is composed of a dry carrier and a dry toner. Each of the image forming units 200 forms a toner image on the photoconductor drum 11 using the carrier and the toner.
[0010] The six image forming units 200 form toner images on the photoconductor drums 11 using developers of different colors. Specifically, in this embodiment, of the six image forming units 200, the four image forming units 200 denoted by reference numerals 91A to 91D form toner images using any one of the four color developers of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black. In other words, the four image forming units 200 form toner images using developers of the basic colors of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black.
[0011] More specifically, of the four image forming units 200, the image forming unit 200 indicated by reference symbol 91A forms a yellow toner image using a yellow developer, and the image forming unit 200 indicated by reference symbol 91B forms a magenta toner image using a magenta developer. Moreover, the image forming section 200 denoted by reference numeral 91C forms a cyan toner image using a cyan developer, and the image forming section 200 denoted by reference numeral 91D forms a black toner image using a black developer.
[0012] The remaining two image forming units 200 denoted by reference numerals 91E and 91F form toner images using developers of special colors other than the above four colors, such as clear, white, gold, silver, pink, green, and orange. Other examples of special color developers include developers containing magnetic toner and developers containing conductive toner. Additionally, other examples of special color developers include developers containing toner that emits light when irradiated with light such as ultraviolet light or infrared light. In this embodiment, a so-called two-component developer in which a carrier and a toner are mixed is used as the developer, but the developer is not limited to this and a so-called one-component developer composed only of toner may also be used.
[0013] Each of the image forming units 200 is provided with a developing device 14 . Further, each image forming section 200 is provided with a supply device 70 that supplies developer to the developing device 14. The developing device 14 deposits toner, which is a developer, on the photoconductor drum 11, and visualizes the electrostatic latent image formed on the photoconductor drum 11 with the toner. In other words, the developing device 14 develops the photoconductor drum 11, which is an image carrier, and forms a toner image on the photoconductor drum 11 with the toner. A supply device 70 supplies developer to the developing device 14 . As described above, the developer is composed of a carrier and a toner, and the supply device 70 supplies the carrier and the toner as the developer to the developing device 14. In this embodiment, the carrier has a positive charge polarity, and the toner has a negative charge polarity.
[0014] Each of the image forming units 200 is provided with a mounting body 80 . In this embodiment, the attachment body 80 is attached to a portion of the apparatus main body 100A of the image forming apparatus 100 where the image forming unit 200 is provided. In this embodiment, a plurality of recessed mounting portions 120 are provided on the apparatus main body 100A side of the image forming apparatus 100. In this embodiment, each of the image forming units 200 is provided with a mounting portion 120. In this embodiment, the configuration is such that the corresponding attachment body 80 is inserted into each of the attachment receiving portions 120 and the attachment body 80 is attached.
[0015] In this embodiment, the attachment body 80 can be attached to and detached from the attachment portion 120, and can be replaced with another attachment body 80 as necessary. Each of the mounting bodies 80 is configured with a plurality of components. In the present embodiment, the mounting body 80 is configured to include a photoconductor drum 11, a charging member 12, and a drum cleaner 17 as examples of the components.
[0016] The photoconductor drum 11, which is an example of an image carrier, carries the toner image formed as described above. The photoconductor drum 11 rotates in the direction of arrow A. The charging member 12 is attached to the photoconductor drum 11 and is used to charge the photoconductor drum 11. In this embodiment, a voltage is applied between the charging member 12 and the photoconductor drum 11, so that the photoconductor drum 11 is charged. The drum cleaner 17 removes the developer remaining on the photosensitive drum 11 .
[0017] Furthermore, in this embodiment, each of the image forming units 200 is provided with an exposure device 13 . The exposure device 13 irradiates the photoconductor drum 11 with light to form an electrostatic latent image on the photoconductor drum 11. The exposure device 13 includes a light source such as an LED (Light Emitting Diode), and irradiates the photoconductor drum 11 with light emitted from the light source.
[0018] The image forming apparatus 100 is also provided with an intermediate transfer belt 15 onto which the toner images formed in each of the image forming units 200 are transferred, and a primary transfer unit 10 which transfers the toner images formed in each of the image forming units 200 onto this intermediate transfer belt 15. The primary transfer unit 10 is provided with a primary transfer roll 16 that transfers the toner image formed on the photoconductor drum 11 onto the intermediate transfer belt 15. The primary transfer unit 10 is configured to include this primary transfer roll 16 that is disposed opposite the photoconductor drum 11 with the intermediate transfer belt 15 sandwiched therebetween. Furthermore, the image forming apparatus 100 is provided with a secondary transfer unit 20 for transferring the toner image transferred onto the intermediate transfer belt 15 onto a sheet of paper P.
[0019] The intermediate transfer belt 15 is circulated at a predetermined speed in the direction of arrow B shown in FIG. 1 by a drive roll 31 driven by a motor (not shown). In this embodiment, the toner images on the photoconductor drums 11 are electrostatically attracted to the intermediate transfer belt 15 in sequence, and superimposed toner images are formed on the intermediate transfer belt 15 . The secondary transfer unit 20 includes a secondary transfer roll 22 arranged on the outer surface side of the intermediate transfer belt 15 , and a backup roll 25 arranged on the inner surface side of the intermediate transfer belt 15 . In this embodiment, in the secondary transfer unit 20 , the toner image formed by the image forming unit 200 and transferred onto the intermediate transfer belt 15 is transferred onto the paper P conveyed to the secondary transfer unit 20 .
[0020] The image forming apparatus 100 is also provided with a fixing device 60 that fixes the toner image transferred onto the paper P onto the paper P. Furthermore, the image forming apparatus 100 is provided with a control unit 40 that includes a CPU that executes a program and controls each unit within the image forming apparatus 100 . Image forming apparatus 100 is also provided with a UI (User Interface) 45, which is configured with a display panel or the like and receives instructions from a user and displays information to the user.
[0021] Further, a reversing mechanism 900 for reversing the paper P is provided. The reversing mechanism 900 reverses the paper P, one side of which has a toner image transferred thereon by the secondary transfer unit 20, and supplies the paper P again to the secondary transfer unit 20. In this manner, in this embodiment, toner images can be formed on both sides of the paper P. Specifically, in this embodiment, the reversing mechanism 900 reverses the front and back sides of the paper P by feeding the paper P after passing through the fixing device 60 to a branch path R2 branched from the paper transport path R1. Specifically, after the paper P passes through the branching section BP, the reversing mechanism 900 transports the paper P in the opposite direction, and further feeds the paper P to the branch path R2. This branch path R2 merges with the paper transport path R1 upstream of the secondary transfer unit 20. As a result, in this embodiment, the paper P is again supplied upside down to the secondary transfer unit 20. In this case, a toner image is formed not only on one side of the paper P but also on the other side, so that a toner image is formed on both sides of the paper P.
[0022] The flow of processing performed by the image forming apparatus 100 will be described. The image forming apparatus 100 receives image data output from, for example, an image reading device or a computer (not shown). Then, image processing is performed on the image data. As a result, image data corresponding to each of the multiple image forming units 200 is generated. The generated image data is output to the exposure device 13 provided in each of the image forming sections 200 .
[0023] The exposure device 13 irradiates the photoconductor drum 11 with light in accordance with input image data. In this embodiment, the surface of each photoconductor drum 11 is charged by the charging member 12, and then scanning exposure is performed on this surface by the exposure device 13. As a result, an electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface of the photoconductor drum 11. Next, a developing process is carried out by the developing device 14, and a toner image is formed on the photoconductor drum 11. This toner image is transferred onto the intermediate transfer belt 15 in the primary transfer section 10.
[0024] After the toner image is transferred onto the intermediate transfer belt 15, the movement of the intermediate transfer belt 15 moves the toner image to the secondary transfer unit 20. At this time, the paper P from the first paper storage unit 53 or the second paper storage unit 54 is transported to the secondary transfer unit 20 by the transport rolls 52 or the like. Then, the toner images on the intermediate transfer belt 15 are electrostatically transferred onto the paper P all at once in the secondary transfer section 20 .
[0025] Thereafter, the paper P onto which the toner image has been transferred is peeled off from the intermediate transfer belt 15 and conveyed to the conveyor belt 55. The conveyor belt 55 conveys the paper P to the fixing device 60. The paper P conveyed to the fixing device 60 is heated and pressurized by the fixing device 60. As a result, the toner image on the paper P is fixed to the paper P. Then, the paper P is discharged from the image forming apparatus 100. When toner images are formed on both sides of the paper P, after the paper P passes through the fixing device 60, the paper P is supplied again to the secondary transfer unit 20 via the branch route R2. Then, in the secondary transfer unit 20, the toner image is transferred to the other side of the paper P. Thereafter, the paper P passes through the fixing device 60 again, and the toner image transferred to the other side is fixed to the paper P.
[0026] FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a spot color mounting body 80. As shown in FIG. FIG. 2 shows a spot color mounting body 80 that is mounted in each of the image forming units 200 indicated by reference characters 91E and 91F in FIG. The spot color mounting body 80 (hereinafter referred to as the "spot color mounting body 81") is provided with the photoconductor drum 11 as an example of an image carrier, as described above. Furthermore, the spot color mounting body 81 is provided with a fixing member 81A to which the spot color mounting body 81 is fixed. The charging member 12 (not shown in FIG. 2) shown in FIG. 1 is provided on the rear side of the fixed member 81A. Furthermore, the spot color mounting body 81 is provided with the drum cleaner 17 (not shown in FIG. 2) shown in FIG.
[0027] Furthermore, the spot color mounting body 81 is provided with a detachment member 71 attached to the spot color mounting body 81. Hereinafter in this specification, the detachment member 71 attached to the spot color mounting body 81 will be referred to as a spot color detachment member 711. The spot color detachment member 711 is detachable from the spot color mounting body 81. In other words, in this embodiment, the spot color detachment member 711 can be detached from the spot color mounting body 81. The spot color mounting body 81 of this embodiment is a mounting body to which a detachable spot color detachment member 711 can be attached.
[0028] FIG. 3 shows the special color detachable member 711 as viewed from the direction indicated by the arrow III in FIG. A separating protrusion 711C protruding in a direction intersecting with the longitudinal direction of the spot color detachment member 711 is provided on each of one end 711A and the other end 711B in the longitudinal direction of the spot color detachment member 711. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, when the spot color detachment member 711 is attached to the spot color mounting body 81, the separating protrusion 711C enters between the photosensitive drum 11 and the charging member 12 (see FIG. 1). As a result, the charging member 12 is retracted from the photosensitive drum 11 and separated from the photosensitive drum 11 .
[0029] The spot color detaching member 711 is a member for separating some of the multiple constituent members that make up the spot color mounting body 81 from the other constituent members. Specifically, the spot color removal member 711 is a member for separating the charging member 12, which is an example of a member constituting a part of the spot color mounting body 81, from the photosensitive drum 11, which is an example of a member constituting another part. Incidentally, a basic color detachment member 712, which will be described later, also serves as a member for separating the charging member 12 from the photoconductor drum 11 provided on the basic color mounting body 82 (which will be described later).
[0030] In this embodiment, the charging member 12 (not shown in FIG. 2) is urged toward the photoconductor drum 11 by an urging member (not shown) provided on the spot color mounting body 81 (see FIG. 2). When the spot color detachable member 711 is attached to the spot color mounting body 81, the charging member 12 moves against the urging force applied to the charging member 12 by the urging member. As a result, the charging member 12 retreats from the photosensitive drum 11 and moves away from the photosensitive drum 11. When the spot color detachable member 711 is detached from the spot color mounting body 81 , the charging member 12 advances to the photosensitive drum 11 and contacts the photosensitive drum 11 .
[0031] By providing the special color detachable member 711 and separating the charging member 12 from the photosensitive drum 11 as in this embodiment, problems caused by deformation of the charging member 12 are less likely to occur. If the charging member 12 continues to be in contact with the photosensitive drum 11, the charging member 12 is likely to deform. If the charging member 12 deforms, this can cause problems such as uneven charging when the photosensitive drum 11 is charged. By providing the special color detachable member 711 as in this embodiment, problems caused by deformation of the charging member 12 are less likely to occur.
[0032] As shown in FIG. 2, the special color detachment member 711 is further provided with two protrusions 94 on the side opposite to the side on which the separating protrusion 711C (see FIG. 3) is provided. In this embodiment, the two protrusions 94 include a one end side protrusion 94A and an other end side protrusion 94B. In this embodiment, as described below, when a user performs an operation to attach the spot color mounting body 81 with the spot color detachment member 711 attached to the device main body 100A, the one end side protrusion 94A comes into contact with the device main body 100A side of the image forming device 100. As a result, in this embodiment, the spot color mounting body 81 to which the spot color detachable member 711 is attached cannot be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100.
[0033] One end side protrusion 94A and the other end side protrusion 94B are each exposed, and each of one end side protrusion 94A and the other end side protrusion 94B is provided at a position where the user can touch it. In this embodiment, the direction indicated by the arrow 2A in the figure is the detachment direction when the spot color detachment member 711 is detached from the spot color mounting body 81. The one end side protrusion 94A and the other end side protrusion 94B each protrude in the detachment direction when the spot color detachment member 711 is detached from the spot color mounting body 81.
[0034] The spot color mounting body 81 has one end 81C and another end 81D that are located at different positions in the longitudinal direction. In this embodiment, when the spot color mounting body 81 is mounted on the image forming apparatus 100, the spot color mounting body 81 is mounted on the image forming apparatus 100 starting from one end 81C side in the longitudinal direction of the spot color mounting body 81. In this embodiment, the spot color mounting body 81 is inserted into the image forming apparatus 100, thereby mounting the spot color mounting body 81 to the image forming apparatus 100. At this time, the spot color mounting body 81 is inserted into the image forming apparatus 100 with one end 81C side in the longitudinal direction of the spot color mounting body 81 being the leading end.
[0035] The one-end side protrusion 94A is provided on the one end 81C side of the spot color mounting body 81, which is the front end when the spot color mounting body 81 is mounted on the image forming apparatus 100, of the one end 81C and the other end 81D of the spot color mounting body 81. On the other end 81D side of the spot color mounting body 81, an other end side protrusion 94B is provided which protrudes from the spot color detachment member 711 in the same direction as the protrusion direction of the one end side protrusion 94A. The other end side protrusion 94B also protrudes in the removal direction of the special color detachment member 711. In this embodiment, the protruding direction of the one end side protruding portion 94A and the protruding direction of the other end side protruding portion 94B are aligned.
[0036] The attachment direction of the spot color attachment body 81 when it is attached to the image forming apparatus 100 is the direction shown by the arrow 2B. The detachment direction of the spot color detachment member 711 is the direction shown by the arrow 2A. In this embodiment, the spot color removal member 711 is removed from the spot color mounting body 81 by moving the spot color removal member 711 in a direction intersecting the mounting direction when the spot color mounting body 81 is mounted to the image forming apparatus 100.
[0037] FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the basic color mounting body 82. As shown in FIG. FIG. 4 shows a basic color mounting body 82 which is the basic color mounting body 80 mounted on the image forming section 200 indicated by the reference numerals 91A to 91D in FIG. The base color mounting body 82 has a similar configuration to the special color mounting body 81 . A basic color detachable member 712 is attached to the basic color mounting body 82 as the detachable member 71. The basic color mounting body 82 is a mounting body to which the detachable basic color detachable member 712 can be attached. 2, the special color detachable member 711 is provided with a one end side protrusion 94A and an other end side protrusion 94B. In contrast, the basic color detachable member 712 is not provided with the one end side protrusion 94A and the other end side protrusion 94B. The basic color mounting body 82 has the same configuration as the special color mounting body 81, except that the one end side protrusion 94A and the other end side protrusion 94B are not provided.
[0038] In this embodiment, the base color detachment member 712 attached to the base color attachment body 82 (see FIG. 4), which is an example of another attachment body, does not have the one end side protrusion 94A and the other end side protrusion 94B. In this embodiment, the detachable member 711 for the special color (see FIG. 2) is provided with a one end side protrusion 94A and an other end side protrusion 94B that are not provided on the detachable member 712 for the basic colors.
[0039] As will be described later, the spot color mounting body 81 shown in FIG. 2 is a mounting body that cannot be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100 with the detachment member 71 attached. The detachable member 711 for the spot color attached to the attachment body 81 for the spot color is provided with a one end side protrusion 94A and an other end side protrusion 94B which are not provided on the detachable member 712 for the base colors. In this embodiment, since the one-end protrusion 94A is provided, the spot color mounting body 81 cannot be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100 with the detachment member 71 attached.
[0040] FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the basic color mounting body 82 in a state where mounting to the apparatus main body 100A of the image forming apparatus 100 has begun. In this embodiment, a corresponding mounting portion 120 is provided for each basic color mounting body 82, and the basic color mounting body 82 mounted on the device main body 100A is mounted on the corresponding mounting portion 120. Each of the mounting portions 120 is provided with a hole extending along the depth direction of the image forming device 100, and the basic color mounting body 82 is inserted into this hole to mount the basic color mounting body 82 to the mounting portion 120. When the basic color mounting body 82 is mounted, the basic color mounting body 82 moves in the direction indicated by the arrow 5A.
[0041] In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 1, six mounted parts 120 are provided. Each of the six mounted parts 120 is provided with an abutted part 121 as shown in Fig. 5. When the basic color mounting body 82 is mounted, the basic color detachment member 712 attached to the basic color mounting body 82 does not come into contact with the abutted portion 121. Therefore, the basic color mounting body 82 can be mounted on the mounting portion 120 even with the basic color detachment member 712 attached.
[0042] The basic color mounting body 82, which is an example of one mounting body, can be mounted to the apparatus main body 100A in this manner even in a state in which the basic color detachment member 712 is attached. In this embodiment, even when the basic color detachment member 712 is detached from the basic color attachment 82, the basic color attachment 82 does not come into contact with the abutted portion 121. Therefore, even in a state where the basic color detachment member 712 is removed from the basic color mounting body 82, the basic color mounting body 82 can be mounted on the mounting portion 120. The basic color mounting body 82 can be mounted to the device main body 100A in either state, that is, with the basic color detachment member 712 attached, or with the basic color detachment member 712 detached.
[0043] Of the multiple mounting bodies 80 provided, the basic color mounting body 82, which is the mounting body 80 used to form toner images of the basic colors of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, can be mounted to the device main body 100A with the basic color removal member 712 attached. Each of the multiple mounting bodies 80 is provided for each color, and each of the multiple mounting bodies 80 is a mounting body 80 used to form a toner image of a different color from each other. Of the multiple mounting bodies 80, the basic color mounting body 82 can be mounted to the apparatus main body 100A with the basic color detachment members 712 attached.
[0044] FIG. 6 is a diagram showing the spot color mounting body 81 in a state where mounting to the apparatus main body 100A of the image forming apparatus 100 has begun. When the spot color attachment body 81 is attached to the corresponding attachment portion 120, the spot color detachment member 711 attached to the spot color attachment body 81 comes into contact with the abutted portion 121 provided on the attachment portion 120. More specifically, the one-end side protrusion 94A provided on the spot color detachment member 711 comes into contact with the abutted portion 121. This restricts the movement of the spot color mounting body 81, making it impossible to mount the spot color mounting body 81. In this embodiment, the spot color mounting body 81 cannot be mounted to the mounting portion 120 in a state in which the spot color detachment member 711 is attached.
[0045] The detachable member 711 for a spot color attached to the spot color attachment member 81, which is an example of another attachment member, has a one-end side protrusion 94A that the detachable member 712 for a base color does not have, as described above. In this embodiment, the one end side protrusion 94A abuts against an abutting portion 121 provided on the apparatus main body 100A, thereby restricting the movement of the spot color mounting body 81.
[0046] Of the multiple mounting bodies 80, the spot color mounting body 81, which is used to form an image of a spot color that is a color other than the basic colors, cannot be mounted to the device main body 100A with the spot color detachment member 711 attached. Of the multiple mounting bodies 80 mounted on the device main body 100A, the basic color mounting body 82, which is an example of one mounting body, can be mounted on the corresponding mounting portion 120 with the basic color detachment member 712 attached. In contrast, the spot color mounting body 81, which is an example of another mounting body, cannot be mounted to the corresponding mounting portion 120 in a state in which the spot color detachment member 711 is attached.
[0047] The basic color mounting body 82 is a mounting body 80 used for forming a toner image of any one of the four colors of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. In contrast, the spot color mounting body 81, which cannot be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100 with the detachable member 71 attached, is a mounting body 80 used for forming toner images of colors other than these four colors.
[0048] In this embodiment, the shape of the base color detachable member 712 attached to the base color mounting body 82 and the shape of the special color detachable member 711 attached to the special color mounting body 81 are different. Specifically, as described above, the special color detachable member 711 is provided with two protrusions 94, namely, a one end side protrusion 94A and an other end side protrusion 94B, and the special color detachable member 711 has a shape provided with the protrusions 94. In contrast, the base color detachable member 712 is shaped so as not to be provided with this protrusion 94 . As a result, the basic color mounting body 82 can be mounted on the device main body 100A, but the special color mounting body 81 cannot be mounted on the device main body 100A.
[0049] The spot color mounting body 81 is a mounting body that constitutes one of a plurality of mounting bodies 80 that are mounted on the image forming apparatus 100 and each of which is provided with a detachment member 71 . The special color mounting body 81 is a mounting body 80 in which the shape of the detachable member 71 attached to itself is different from the shape of the detachable member 71 attached to the basic color mounting body 82 . The spot color mounting body 81 is an mounting body 80 that cannot be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100 when an operation for mounting to the image forming apparatus 100 is performed with the spot color removal member 711 attached to the mounting body 81 itself.
[0050] The spot color mounting body 81 is a mounting body 80 in which the spot color detachment member 711 comes into contact with the image forming device 100 when an operation of mounting the spot color mounting body 81 to the image forming device 100 is performed with the spot color detachment member 711 attached to the mounting body 81. As a result, in this embodiment, the spot color mounting body 81 cannot be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100 with the spot color detachment member 711 attached.
[0051] The spot color mounting body 81 can be mounted to the apparatus main body 100A by removing the spot color detachment member 711 from the spot color mounting body 81. When the spot color detachment member 711 is detached from the spot color mounting body 81, the one end side protrusion 94A and the other end side protrusion 94B do not come into contact with the abutted portion 121. This allows the spot color mounting body 81 to be mounted on the mounting portion 120 provided on the apparatus main body 100A.
[0052] The spot color mounting body 81 may be prepared for each user in response to an individual order from the user. Also, the spot color mounting body 81 may be mounted on the device body 100A of the image forming device 100 by a user who is not familiar with the operation, rather than a professional worker. In this case, if the one-end protrusion 94A is not provided, a situation may occur in which the image forming apparatus 100 operates with the spot color mounting body 81 attached while the spot color removal member 711 remains attached to the spot color mounting body 81. In this case, there is a risk of causing a breakdown of the image forming apparatus 100 or the mounting body 80.
[0053] On the other hand, if the mounting body 80 can be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100 with the detachment member 71 attached to the mounting body 80, for example, the image forming apparatus 100 can be shipped in a state in which the mounting body 80 to which the detachment member 71 is attached is installed in the image forming apparatus 100. In this case, a situation in which the mounting body 80 is shipped separately from the image forming apparatus 100 can be avoided.
[0054] The basic color mounting body 82 is not prepared individually, but is set as the default mounting body 80. As described above, the basic color mounting body 82 can be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100 with the basic color detachable member 712 attached. In this case, when the image forming apparatus 100 is shipped, the basic color mounting body 82 can be shipped in a state where it is mounted on the image forming apparatus 100, thereby avoiding a situation where the basic color mounting body 82 is shipped separately from the image forming apparatus 100.
[0055] In addition, the basic color removal member 712 attached to the basic color mounting body 82 attached to the shipped image forming apparatus 100 is removed from the basic color mounting body 82 by a specialized worker after the image forming apparatus 100 is installed at the shipping destination. For this reason, the basic color detachable member 712 attached to the basic color mounting body 82 is unlikely to be forgotten to be removed, and a situation in which the image forming device 100 with the basic color mounting body 82 attached is operated with the basic color detachable member 712 still attached to the basic color mounting body 82 is unlikely to occur.
[0056] In this embodiment, the basic color mounting body 82 can be mounted with the basic color detachable member 712 attached, and the special color mounting body 81 cannot be mounted with the special color detachable member 711 attached. In this case, a situation in which the image forming apparatus 100 operates in a state in which the mounting body 80 with the detachment member 71 still attached thereto is mounted on the image forming apparatus 100 becomes unlikely to occur. In this case, some of the mounting bodies 80 can be mounted to the image forming apparatus 100 at the time of shipping the image forming apparatus 100. In this case, it is possible to avoid shipping these mounting bodies 80 separately from the image forming apparatus 100, which can improve the efficiency of shipping operations.
[0057] (others) By making the shape of the mounting portion 120 to which the basic color mounting body 82 is attached different from the shape of the mounting portion 120 to which the special color mounting body 81 is attached, it is possible to make it possible for the basic color mounting body 82 to be mounted on the device main body 100A, but not possible for the special color mounting body 81 to be mounted on the device main body 100A.
[0058] 7(A) and (B) are diagrams showing other configuration examples of the mounted portion 120. In FIG. FIG. 7(A) shows the mounting portion 120 to which the basic color mounting body 82 is mounted, and FIG. 7(B) shows the mounting portion 120 to which the special color mounting body 81 is mounted. 7A shows the detachable member 712 for the base color and the attached portion 120. Also, in Fig. 7B, the detachable member 711 for the special color and the attached portion 120 are shown. In Fig. 7(A), the detachable member 712 for the base color moves in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper in Fig. 7 and toward the back side of the paper. In Fig. 7(B), the detachable member 711 for the special color moves in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper in Fig. 7 and toward the back side of the paper.
[0059] In the configuration example shown in FIGS. 7(A) and 7(B), the shape of the detachable member 712 for the base color and the shape of the detachable member 711 for the special color are the same. On the other hand, in the configuration example shown in Figures 7(A) and (B), the shape of the mounting part 120 on which the basic color mounting body 82 is mounted is different from the shape of the mounting part 120 on which the special color mounting body 81 is mounted. As shown in FIG. 7B, the mounting portion 120 to which the spot color mounting body 81 is mounted is provided with a protruding portion 129 that protrudes onto the moving path of the spot color detaching member 711. In contrast, as shown in FIG. 7(A), the mounting portion 120 to which the basic color mounting body 82 is mounted is not provided with a protruding portion that protrudes onto the moving path of the basic color detaching member 712.
[0060] In this configuration example, as shown in FIG. 7(B), the mounting portion 120 to which the special color mounting body 81 is attached is provided with a protrusion 129 that is not provided on the mounting portion 120 to which the basic color mounting body 82 (see FIG. 7(A)) is attached. In this configuration example, the spot color detachment member 711 attached to the spot color mounting body 81 hits the protrusion 129 provided on the mounting receiving portion 120. This makes it impossible to mount the spot color mounting body 81 to the device main body 100A with the spot color detachment member 711 attached to the spot color mounting body 81. On the other hand, the basic color mounting body 82 does not have a protrusion on the mounting portion 120 to which the basic color mounting body 82 is attached, and the basic color mounting body 82 can be attached to the device main body 100A with the basic color removal member 712 attached.
[0061] In the above, the mounting body 80 equipped with the photosensitive drum 11, the charging member 12, and the drum cleaner 17 is given as an example of an mounting body, but the configuration described above may be applied to mounting other types of mounting bodies to the image forming apparatus 100. Examples of other types of mounted bodies include various types of mounted bodies such as a toner cartridge and a developing device 14. The configuration described above may be applied to mounting of other types of mounted bodies to the image forming apparatus 100.
