Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a wiring structure of a leg support of a furniture with a top plate such as a desk or a table, which can preferably route wiring.

Background Art

[0002] With the progress of office automation, the amount of routing of power lines and communication lines (referred to as "wiring" in this specification) in offices and homes has been increasing enormously. In particular, furniture with a top plate such as desks and tables installed in offices, for example, meeting tables, have a structure in which the top plate is partially supported by leg supports, ensuring a wide lower limb space. However, when a personal computer or the like is placed on the top plate, the wiring overflows around, narrowing the working surface on the top plate, becoming an obstacle to walking on the floor, or the wiring hanging down from the top plate is exposed, damaging the appearance of the office.

[0003] Therefore, in order to solve such inconveniences, a proposal has been made and put into practical use to form a wiring insertion portion inside or along the leg support to store the wiring (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] Incidentally, in the furniture with a top plate in which a wiring insertion portion is formed inside or along the leg support disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2, since the leg support is made of a metal extrusion profile with high rigidity, even if a wiring insertion portion with one side open is formed in the leg support so that wiring can be easily inserted and removed, the leg support can have the required rigidity.

[0006] On the other hand, when a wiring insertion portion with one side open is formed in a leg support made of steel sheet metal (formed by bending or welding a steel material), there is a problem that it becomes difficult to give the leg support the required rigidity.

[0007] An object of the present invention is to provide a wiring structure for a leg support of furniture with a top plate that can give the leg support the required rigidity even when a wiring insertion portion with one side open is formed in a leg support made of steel sheet metal.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0008] To achieve the above object, the wiring structure of the leg support of the furniture with a top plate of the present invention is a wiring structure of the leg support of the furniture with a top plate including a leg support made of steel sheet metal, and includes a leg support body having a U-shaped cross section, and a partition plate arranged and fixed in the longitudinal direction of the leg support body so as to form a wiring insertion portion on the open side of the leg support body, and a cover member detachably attached to the leg support body so as to cover the leg support body except for the upper and lower ends of the wiring insertion portion.

[0009] In this case, it can be configured such that a hook portion formed on the cover member is hooked on a slit formed on the partition plate.

Effects of the Invention

[0010] According to the wiring structure of the leg support of the furniture with a top plate of the present invention, a leg support body having a U-shaped cross section, and a partition plate arranged and fixed in the longitudinal direction of the leg support body so as to form a wiring insertion portion on the open side of the leg support body, and a cover member detachably attached to the leg support body so as to cover the leg support body except for the upper and lower ends of the wiring insertion portion, by providing rigidity required for the leg support, a wiring insertion portion that can easily insert and remove wiring with one side open can be formed in the leg support made of sheet metal, and by storing the wiring in the leg support, the inconvenience that the wiring hanging down from the top plate is exposed and damages the appearance of the office can be eliminated.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0012] Hereinafter, embodiments of the wiring structure of the leg support of the furniture with a top plate of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0013] 1 to 3 show an embodiment of a furniture with a top plate to which the wiring structure of the leg support of the furniture with a top plate of the present invention is applied. This furniture with a top plate supports the top plate 1 by means of leg supports 2 made of sheet metal made of steel (formed by bending and welding a steel material). As the wiring structure of the leg supports 2, a leg support body 21 having a U-shaped cross section, and a partition plate 22 arranged and fixed in the longitudinal direction of the leg support body 21 so as to form a wiring insertion portion 3 on the open side of the leg support body 21, and a cover member 23 detachably attached to the leg support body 21 so as to cover the leg support body 21 except for the upper and lower ends of the wiring insertion portion 3 are provided.

[0014] The leg support body 21 can be formed by bending a steel material having a thickness of 1.0 to 3.0 mm, preferably about 1.5 to 2.0 mm (1.6 mm in this embodiment) into a U-shaped cross section.

[0015] The partition plate 22 can be formed by bending a steel material having a thickness of 1.0 to 2.0 mm, preferably about 1.0 to 1.5 mm (1.2 mm in this embodiment) into a U-shaped cross section.

[0016] The cover member 23 can be formed by bending a steel material having a thickness of 0.5 to 1.5 mm, preferably about 0.5 to 1.0 mm (0.7 mm in this embodiment) into a U-shaped cross section.

[0017] The partition plate 22 is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the leg support body 21, and the flange portion is fixed to the leg support body 21 by spot welding or the like, so that the wiring insertion portion 3 is formed on the open side of the leg support body 21, and the leg support body 21 having a U-shaped cross section is reinforced so as not to be deformed, thereby giving the leg support 2 the required rigidity.

[0018] A hook portion 23a is formed on the cover member 23, and the cover member 23 can be detachably attached to the leg support body 21 by hanging the hook portion 23a on a slit 22a formed in the partition plate 22.

[0019] The foot support body 21 can be attached with the curtain plate 4 as needed, and a notch 22b can be formed in the partition plate 22 so that the attachment part of the curtain plate 4 does not interfere with the partition plate 22.

[0020] The wiring structure of the foot support of this furniture with a top plate includes a U-shaped cross-section foot support body 21, a partition plate 22 arranged and fixed in the longitudinal direction of the foot support body 21 to form a wiring insertion part 3 on the open side of the foot support body 21, and a cover member 23 detachably attached to the foot support body 21 to cover the upper and lower ends of the wiring insertion part 3 except for the upper and lower ends. By providing the foot support 2 with the required rigidity, a wiring insertion part 3 can be formed on the foot support 2 made of a steel sheet metal with one side open, which can facilitate the insertion and extraction of the wiring 5. By storing the wiring in the foot support 2, the problem that the wiring 5 hanging down from the top plate 1 is exposed and damages the appearance of the office can be solved.

[0021] As described above, the wiring structure of the foot support of the furniture with a top plate according to the present invention has been described based on its embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the configurations described in the above embodiments, and its configuration can be appropriately changed without departing from the spirit thereof.

Industrial Applicability

[0022] Since the wiring structure of the foot support of the furniture with a top plate according to the present invention can provide the required rigidity to the foot support even when a wiring insertion part with one side open is formed in the foot support made of a steel sheet metal, it can be widely used as the wiring structure of the foot support of furniture with a top plate such as desks and tables.
