Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] There is a need to more efficiently exterminate pests mixed in earth and sand stone materials.
[0006] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to more efficiently exterminate pests mixed in earth and sand stone materials.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0007] To solve the above problems, a large amount of earth and sand insecticidal device of the present invention is a large amount of earth and sand insecticidal device for exterminating pests attached to or mixed in earth and sand stone materials used in civil engineering construction work, using a chemical agent, steam or fumigant, and includes a cylindrical shell, a screw conveyor for conveying earth and sand stone materials inside the shell, a nozzle for supplying a chemical agent, steam or fumigant into the shell by spraying or scattering, and a plate that rotates together with the screw conveyor. The screw conveyor has a main shaft and a screw-shaped blade provided spirally on the main shaft. The plate lifts and loosens the earth and sand stone materials to bring pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials into contact with the chemical agent, steam or fumigant supplied from the nozzle.
[0008] According to this configuration, by lifting and loosening the earth and sand stone materials with the plate, pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials come into contact with the chemical agent, steam or fumigant, so that pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials can be exterminated more efficiently. Specifically, by lifting and loosening the earth and sand stone materials with the plate, the effect of the chemical agent or the like can be exerted not only on the surface of the earth and sand stone materials conveyed in a state of accumulating at the bottom of the shell, but also on the insects between the particles constituting the earth and sand stone materials. In addition, the physical pressure or shear force when the plate moves the earth and sand stone materials can also promote insecticidal action.
[0009] Further, the nozzle may be located inside the shell and above the main shaft, and the plate may be located below the nozzle.
[0010] Also, the plate may lift the earth and sand stone materials above the main shaft.
[0011] According to this configuration, the earth and sand stone materials lifted by the plate can be brought closer to the nozzle located above the main shaft, so that pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials can be exterminated more efficiently.
[0012] Further, the plate may have a first surface for lifting earth and sand stone materials, and the first surface may be parallel to the rotation axis of the screw conveyor.
[0013] According to this configuration, since the amount of earth and sand stone materials lifted by the plate can be increased, harmful organisms mixed in the earth and sand stone materials can be brought into contact with agents or the like more efficiently.
[0014] Further, at least the tip-side portion of the first surface may be inclined so as to be located on the downstream side in the rotation direction of the screw conveyor as it goes toward the outside in the radial direction of the screw conveyor.
[0015] According to this configuration, a large amount of earth and sand stone materials can be scooped up by the first surface.
[0016] Further, the large amount of earth and sand insecticidal device may include a rib connecting the second surface on the side opposite to the first surface of the plate and the main shaft.
[0017] According to this configuration, when lifting earth and sand stone materials with the plate, the force applied from the earth and sand stone materials to the plate can be received by the rib, so that damage to the plate can be suppressed.
[0018] Further, the plate may be separated from the screw-shaped blades.
[0019] Further, the method for killing a large amount of earth and sand pests of the present invention is a method for killing pests attached to or mixed in earth and sand stone materials used in civil engineering construction work, using an agent, steam or fumigant, and conveying earth and sand stone materials in a cylindrical shell by a screw conveyor, supplying an agent, steam or fumigant into the shell, and lifting and loosening the earth and sand stone materials in the shell by a plate rotating together with the screw conveyor, and bringing pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials into contact with an agent, steam or fumigant.
[0020] According to this method, by lifting and loosening the earth and sand stone materials with the plate, pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials come into contact with an agent, steam or fumigant, so that pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials can be exterminated more efficiently.
[0021] Alternatively, the earth and sand stone materials may be lifted above the main shaft of the screw conveyor by a plate.
[0022] Also, the time taken from when the earth and sand stone materials are put into the shell until they are discharged outside the shell may be 1 minute or more.
[0023] Also, the time taken from when the earth and sand stone materials are put into the shell until they are discharged outside the shell may be 2 minutes or more.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0026] The large amount of earth and sand insecticidal device used in this embodiment is shown in FIG. 1. The large amount of earth and sand insecticidal device M is a device for exterminating pests attached to or mixed in the earth and sand stone materials used in civil engineering construction work using a chemical agent, steam, or fumigant.
[0027] The large amount of earth and sand insecticidal device includes an outer shell 2 as an example of a shell, a screw conveyor SC, a liquid distribution pipe 3, a nozzle 4, a hopper 11, a chemical liquid tank 5, and a main shaft motor 6. The screw conveyor SC, the liquid distribution pipe 3, and the nozzle 4 are installed inside the outer shell 2.
[0028] The outer shell 2 is a cylindrical member. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, the lower part of the outer shell 2 is semi-cylindrical, and the upper part has a shape obtained by dividing a rectangular cylinder in half.
[0029] The screw conveyor SC is a member for conveying earth and sand stone materials inside the outer shell 2. The screw conveyor SC has a main shaft 8, a screw-shaped blade 1 provided spirally on the main shaft 8, and a spatula steel plate 81 as an example of a plate.
[0030] The screw-shaped blade 1 is spiral. The main shaft 8 is rotating in the direction indicated by the rotation direction 9 by the main shaft motor 6. The outer shell 2 is supported by a gantry 7 installed on the ground, and the liquid distribution pipe 3 is connected to a chemical liquid tank for storing chemicals. The chemicals are pumped by a high-pressure pump or the like.
[0031] In this embodiment, chemicals are used for insecticidal purposes, but insecticidal treatment may also be performed with steam or fumigants. When performing insecticidal treatment with steam, the chemical liquid tank 5 may be replaced with a steam generator that generates high-temperature steam. Also, when performing insecticidal treatment with fumigants, the chemical liquid tank 5 may be replaced with a fumigant generator that generates fumigants.
[0032] The spatula steel plate 81 is a spatula-shaped steel plate in the shape of "く". The spatula steel plate 81 is separated from the screw-shaped blade 1. Specifically, the spatula steel plate 81 is fixed to the main shaft 8 between the peaks of the spiral of the screw-shaped blade 1, and the spatula steel plate 81 also rotates as the main shaft 8 rotates. The spatula steel plate 81 is located below the nozzle 4.
[0033] As shown in FIG. 2, the spatula steel plate 81 has a first surface F1 for lifting earth and sand stone materials. The first surface F1 is parallel to the rotation axis of the screw conveyor SC. The first surface F1 extends radially outward from the main shaft 8 to the outside of the screw conveyor SC, and then is inclined so as to be located on the downstream side in the rotation direction of the screw conveyor SC as it goes radially outward of the screw conveyor SC.
[0034] On the second surface F2 of the spatula steel plate 81, which is opposite to the first surface F1, a rib 82 is provided. The rib 82 connects the second surface F2 and the main shaft 8.
[0035] The liquid distribution pipe 3 is located above the screw conveyor SC between one end side of the outer shell 2 at the earth and sand inlet 10 and the other end side of the outer shell 2 which is the discharge port of the earth and sand stone materials. The liquid distribution pipe 3 is installed inside the outer shell 2 integrally with the substantially cylindrical outer shell 2.
[0036] The nozzle 4 is a nozzle for supplying the chemical agent into the outer shell 2 by spraying. A plurality of nozzles 4 are installed at equal intervals on the liquid distribution pipe 3. The nozzle 4 is located inside the outer shell 2 and above the main shaft 8.
[0037] The hopper 11 is installed on one end side of the outer shell 2. The hopper 11 guides the input earth and sand stone materials to the earth and sand inlet 10 of the outer shell 2.
[0038] The earth and sand stone materials input from the hopper 11 above the earth and sand inlet 10 fall from the earth and sand inlet 10 which is an opening at one end of the outer shell 2 and move in the direction shown by the moving direction 13 while being stirred by the rotation of the screw-shaped blades. At the same time, due to the rotation of the spatula steel plate 81, the earth and sand stone materials are continuously scooped up and receive the stirring action up and down. Also, the earth and sand stone materials receive the spraying of the chemical agent from the upper nozzles 4 while moving. Since a plurality of nozzles 4 are installed at equal intervals, the earth and sand stone materials receive the spraying of the chemical agent from both the front and rear sides when moving. When the earth and sand stone materials reach the earth and sand discharge port 12 at one end of the outer shell 2 while receiving the spraying of the chemical agent, they are discharged to the outside (lower side) of the outer shell 2.
[0039] Specifically, the earth and sand stone materials conveyed in the moving direction 13 by the screw-type blades are located below the main shaft 8. The spatula steel plate 81 lifts the earth and sand stone materials located below the main shaft 8 above the main shaft 8. The earth and sand stone materials on the spatula steel plate 81 are gradually loosened while collapsing little by little, and the pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials are exposed to the outside. As a result, the liquid agent from the nozzle 4 comes into contact with the exposed pests, so that the pests can be efficiently exterminated. In addition, the physical pressure or shear force when the spatula steel plate 81 moves the earth and sand stone materials can also promote insecticidal action.
[0040] The time from when the earth and sand stone materials are put into the outer shell 2 until they are discharged outside the outer shell 2 is preferably 1 minute or more, more desirably 2 minutes or more.
[0041] FIG. 3 shows an embodiment from when the earth and sand stone materials are sterilized, disinfected, pest-exterminated and controlled using the large-volume earth and sand insecticidal device M shown in FIG. 1 until they are loaded onto an earth and sand carrier ship from land to the sea. The earth and sand stone materials that have been sterilized in the large-volume earth and sand insecticidal device M are continuously conveyed from the earth and sand discharge port 12 to the hold of the earth and sand carrier ship 15 floating on the water surface 16 that has come ashore at the quay 17 connected to the belt conveyor 14.
[0042] According to the above, the following effects can be obtained in this embodiment. By using the large-volume earth and sand insecticidal device M, since continuous conveying means such as a screw conveyor SC is used, continuous and large-scale processing is possible. In addition, since the continuous conveying means is a screw conveyor and a spatula-shaped steel plate is arranged on the rotating shaft of the screw conveyor, the earth and sand stone materials are moved and processed while being agitated up and down, so that the effect of the chemical agent can be exerted not only on the surface but also on the insects between the particles constituting the earth and sand stone materials. That is, by lifting and loosening the earth and sand stone materials with the spatula steel plate 81, the pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials come into contact with the chemical agent, so that the pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials can be exterminated more efficiently. In addition, the physical pressure or shear force when the spatula steel plate 81 moves the earth and sand stone materials can also promote insecticidal action.
[0043] Since a plurality of nozzles 4 are provided at equal intervals in the chemical liquid supply pipe 3 toward the conveyance direction of the earth and sand stone materials, the chemicals are applied to the earth and sand stone materials without any shielding area from the front and rear of the moving earth and sand stone materials, so that the effect of the chemicals can be exerted evenly and thoroughly. Since the screw conveyor SC, the chemical liquid supply pipe 3 and the nozzles 4 are provided inside the outer shell 2 into which they are inserted, the chemicals used are safe for the operator without scattering to the outside and have no adverse effect on the external natural environment. The processed earth and sand stone materials can be continuously loaded from the discharge port of the screw conveyor SC of the earth and sand stone materials into the earth and sand transport ship 15 via the belt conveyor 14 or the like, so that the earth and sand stone materials can be continuously transported from the pest-contaminated area (land area) to the non-contaminated area (earth transport ship) without interruption.
[0044] The earth and sand stone materials are stirred while being scraped up and down by the rotating paddle steel plate 81, and in addition, while being stirred by the resistance due to the rotation of the screw conveyor SC, they move toward the discharge port, and at the same time, they are sprayed with chemicals from a plurality of nozzles 4 before and after without distinction between the front and back. Furthermore, due to the stirring effect, the effect of the chemicals can be exerted not only on the surface of the earth and sand stone materials but also on the internal voids. Also, since the chemical liquid supply pipe 3 and the nozzles 4 of the chemicals are inside the closed shell, there is no risk for the operator to inhale the chemicals and there is no scattering of the chemicals or the like to the surroundings.
[0045] Regarding the earth and sand stone materials, which are materials in construction projects, it is possible to transport and supply a large amount of earth and sand stone materials without having an adverse impact on the environment of the supply source, and it can contribute to the effective and efficient industrial utilization of resources across regions.
[0046] Also, even in the case of earth and sand stone materials from a contaminated area or when the inlet is in a contaminated area, by continuously transporting them from the discharge port of the earth and sand to a soil bin such as a non-contaminated earth and sand transport ship without interruption, it is possible to prevent recontamination of the earth and sand stone materials after treatment such as sterilization and transport them.
[0047] By the spatula plate 81 lifting the earth and sand stone materials above the main shaft 8, the earth and sand stone materials lifted by the spatula plate 81 can be brought closer to the nozzle 4 located above the main shaft 8, so that the pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials can be exterminated more efficiently.
[0048] By making the first surface F1 of the spatula plate 81 for lifting the earth and sand stone materials parallel to the rotation axis of the screw conveyor SC, the amount of the earth and sand stone materials lifted by the spatula plate 81 can be increased, so that the pests mixed in the earth and sand stone materials can be brought into contact with the chemical agent more efficiently.
[0049] Since the tip side portion of the first surface F1 is inclined so as to be located on the downstream side in the rotation direction of the screw conveyor SC as it goes toward the outside in the radial direction of the screw conveyor SC, a large amount of earth and sand stone materials can be scooped up by the first surface F1.
[0050] By adopting a configuration including a rib 82 connecting the second surface F2 of the spatula plate 81 and the main shaft 8, when the spatula plate 81 lifts the earth and sand stone materials, the force applied from the earth and sand stone materials to the spatula plate 81 can be received by the rib 82, so that damage to the spatula plate 81 can be suppressed.
[0051] Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be used in various forms as exemplified below. The first surface F1 may be a flat surface instead of a "く" shape. Also, the entire first surface F1 may be inclined so as to be located on the downstream side in the rotation direction of the screw conveyor as it goes toward the outside in the radial direction of the screw conveyor.
[0052] The plate may be rotated by a device different from the screw conveyor.
[0053] Each element described in the above-described embodiment and modification example may be implemented by arbitrarily combining them.
