Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing program, and an information processing method.
Background Art
[0002] Conventionally, there has been an input device including a touch screen, a control unit that detects a contact point of a contact object with respect to the touch screen, and when the number of the simultaneously detected contact points is equal to or greater than a threshold value set to a value of 2 or more, shifts to a panel cleaning mode in which an operation on the touch screen is invalidated. When the control unit detects a number of the contact points equal to or greater than the threshold value within a predetermined first range of the touch screen, the control unit shifts to the panel cleaning mode. When the control unit detects a number of the contact points equal to or greater than the threshold value within a predetermined second range of the touch screen, the control unit ends the panel cleaning mode (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Summary of the Invention

[0003] By the way, it is possible that a plurality of contact points are detected on the touch screen during cleaning. For this reason, in the conventional input device, during cleaning, when a number of contact points equal to or greater than the threshold value are detected in the second range, the panel cleaning mode (a mode in which reception of input on the touch panel is invalidated) may be ended (released) unintentionally by the user.
[0004] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an information processing apparatus, an information processing program, and an information processing method capable of canceling the invalidation of reception of input on the touch panel in accordance with the intention of the user.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0005] The information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is an information processing apparatus having a function of invalidating input reception of a touch panel, including a pressing position detection unit that detects a pressing position of the touch panel by a user, and a control unit that cancels the invalidation when a locus of the pressing position detected by the pressing position detection unit represents a pinch-out operation, a pinch-in operation, or a continuous touch operation.
Effect of the Invention
[0006] It is possible to provide an information processing apparatus, an information processing program, and an information processing method capable of canceling the invalidation of input reception of a touch panel in accordance with the intention of a user.

[0008] Hereinafter, embodiments to which the information processing apparatus, information processing program, and information processing method of the present disclosure are applied will be described.
[0009] <Embodiment> In this embodiment, when temporarily invalidating the input reception of a touch panel attached to a device such as an image forming apparatus, by performing a specific operation for canceling the invalidation on the touch panel, the user can cancel the invalidation of input reception at an arbitrary timing. Here, when the user operates the touch panel, the touch panel is pressed by the user's finger. Note that the user can also operate the touch panel with a part of the body other than the finger, but here, the form of operation with the finger will be described. Also, hereinafter, the pressing position is the position on the touch panel where the user's finger is touching.
[0010] <System Configuration Example> FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of an information processing apparatus 1 according to an embodiment. The information processing apparatus 1 is a device having a touch panel such as an image forming apparatus 10. Normally, a menu screen 11 for using the image forming apparatus is displayed on the touch panel. However, at the time of cleaning the touch panel or the like, an input invalidation screen 12 in which the input reception of the touch panel is invalidated is displayed in order to prevent the menu screen 11 from being accidentally operated. In this embodiment, the user can cancel the invalidation of the input reception of the touch panel by performing a specific operation on the touch panel. The specific operation will be described later. to be displayed.
[0011] The function of disabling the input reception of the touch panel may be provided in the information processing apparatus 1 or the image forming apparatus 10, or may be provided in the touch panel itself. The information processing apparatus 1 may be realized by a single information processing apparatus 1, or may be realized by being distributed among a plurality of information processing apparatuses.
[0012] <Hardware Configuration> FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of the image forming apparatus 10. As shown in FIG. 2, the image forming apparatus 10 includes a controller 910, a short-range communication circuit 920, an engine control unit 930, an operation panel 940, and a network I / F 950. [0016] <Regarding functions> FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware functional configuration of the operation panel according to the embodiment. As shown in FIG. 3, the operation panel 940 includes a processing unit 51, an input unit 52, an operation storage unit 53, an image forming apparatus interface 54, a screen display unit 55, a communication unit 56, and an audio input / output unit 57. The processing unit 51 executes a program related to the operation panel. The input unit 52 receives an input from a user via a touch panel or the like. The operation storage unit 53 stores operations and the like input from the input unit 52. The image forming apparatus interface 54 is an interface for communicating with the image forming apparatus 10. For example, a request for a notification display and a display screen are received from the image forming apparatus 10 via this interface. In the case of an operation panel of a device other than the image forming apparatus 10, this interface is not necessary, but an interface corresponding to the device may be required in some cases. The screen display unit 55 displays a screen such as a menu screen on the touch panel. The communication unit 56 communicates with an external device via a wireless LAN (Local Area Network) or Bluetooth (registered trademark). The audio input / output unit 57 inputs and outputs audio via a microphone, a speaker, or the like. Note that an application for disabling the input reception of the touch panel may be executed by the processing unit 51 of the operation panel or by the CPU 901 of the image forming apparatus 10.
[0017] Next, a configuration of a function for the information processing apparatus 1 such as the image forming apparatus 10 to execute a process of canceling the invalidation of the input reception of the touch panel 941 will be described. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an example of a functional configuration diagram of the information processing apparatus 1 according to the embodiment. The touch panel 941 of the information processing apparatus 1 has a press time measurement unit 100A, a count measurement unit 100B, a press position detection unit 101, a display control unit 102, an operation reception unit 103, and a control unit 104 in order to execute a process of canceling the invalidation of the input reception.
[0018] The pressing time measurement unit 100A measures the time during which the touch panel 941 is continuously pressed when the user operates the touch panel 941. Here, when the user operates the touch panel 941, the touch panel 941 is pressed by the user's finger, so the time during which the pressing continues is the time during which the finger continuously touches the touch panel 941.
[0019] The count measurement unit 100B measures the number of times the pressing position is detected by the pressing position detection unit 101 when the user operates the touch panel 941. The number of times the pressing position is detected corresponds to the number of times the touch panel 941 is pressed by the user's finger and represents the number of times the user performs a touch operation on the touch panel 941. The count measurement unit 100B starts measuring the number of times the pressing position is detected after the pressing position is detected by the pressing position detection unit 101. The "number of times the pressing position is detected" measured by the count measurement unit 100B is the number of times when the next pressing is continuously performed within a predetermined time after being pressed once, and represents the number of continuous touch operations. The predetermined time is, for example, about 0.1 second to 1 second. In this way, the continuous performance of touch operations is called continuous touch operations. In continuous touch operations, after the finger touches the touch panel 941 once, the finger leaves the touch panel 941 once, and then the operation of the finger touching the touch panel 941 again is repeated. The count measurement unit 100B measures the number of such continuous touch operations based on the output of the pressing position detection unit 101. Note that for pinch-out operations and pinch-in operations, since the finger is moved while touching the touch panel 941, the pressing position changes, but the number measured by the count measurement unit 100B is 1 time.
[0020] The pressing position detection unit 101 detects the position on the touch panel 941 that is pressed when the user presses the touch panel 941. In addition, the pressing position detection unit 101 detects whether the same pressing position is continuously pressed. In addition, when the pressing position moves, the pressing position detection unit 101 detects the pressing position.
[0021] The display control unit 102 controls the display of a menu screen for starting the invalidation of input reception to be displayed on the touch panel 941, a setting screen related to the cancellation of the invalidation of input reception, and the like.
[0022] The operation reception unit 103 receives, via the touch panel 941, an operation input such as an operation to start the invalidation of input reception and a setting input related to the cancellation of the invalidation of input reception.
[0023] The control unit 104 cancels the invalidation of input reception based on the duration of the press measured by the press duration measurement unit 100A or the number of presses measured by the press count measurement unit 100B. Further, the control unit 104 may perform various other controls regarding the operation of the touch panel 941 other than the above.
[0024] <Process for starting the invalidation of input reception> FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of a flowchart illustrating the process for starting the invalidation of input reception of the touch panel 941. Hereinafter, each step of the process until the invalidation of input reception is started on the touch panel 941 of the image forming apparatus 10 will be described.
[0025] Step S111: The image forming apparatus 10 transmits a menu screen to the touch panel 941. The display control unit 102 displays the menu screen on the touch panel 941. The operation reception unit 103 receives an operation input such as the pressing of a button via the touch panel 941 by the user.
[0026] FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of a menu screen displayed on the touch panel 941 of the image forming apparatus 10. On the menu screen 120, a function A121, a function B122, a function C123, which are buttons for starting applications of various functions executed by the image forming apparatus, and a touch disable function 124 for starting an application for invalidating the input reception of the touch panel 941 are displayed.
[0027] Also, as another example of the menu screen, FIG. 7 shows a diagram of an example of a menu screen in which a touch-invalid function button is displayed in the banner portion. Similar to FIG. 6, on the menu screen 130, there are a function A131, a function B132, a function C133, which are buttons for starting applications of various functions executed by the image forming apparatus, and a touch-invalid function 134 for starting an application that invalidates the input reception of the touch panel 941, are displayed.
[0028] When the user presses the buttons of various functions (function A, function B, function C) to start the application, screens of the applications of various functions are displayed below the banner portion of the touch panel 941. Also, when the user wants to temporarily invalidate the input reception of the touch panel 941 for cleaning or the like, the touch-invalid functions 124, 135 are pressed. Here, on the menu screen 120 of FIG. 6, after starting the application of various functions, to press the touch-invalid function 124, it is necessary to end the application and display the menu screen 120. On the other hand, on the menu screen 130 of FIG. 7, after starting the application of various functions, it is possible to start an application that invalidates the input reception by pressing the touch-invalid function 134 without ending the application.
[0029] Returning to FIG. 5, the processing of the next step will be described.
[0030] Step S112: The image forming apparatus 10 starts an application for invalidating the input reception and transmits a setting screen for setting the application to the touch panel 941. The display control unit 102 displays the setting screen on the touch panel 941. The operation reception unit 103 receives operation inputs and the like related to the setting via the touch panel 941 by the user.
[0031] FIG. 8 is a diagram showing an example of a setting screen of an application for invalidating input reception. On the setting screen 140, as one of the settings for invalidating input reception, an invalidation release method 141 is displayed, and as options for the setting content, manual 142, automatic 143, and manual / automatic 144 are displayed. When the user selects manual 142, after starting the invalidation of input reception, by a specific operation on the touch panel 941, the user can release the invalidation of input reception on the touch panel 941 at any timing. When the user selects automatic 143, the invalidation is automatically released when a predetermined time has elapsed since the start of the invalidation of input reception. When the user selects manual / automatic 144, the invalidation is automatically released when a predetermined time has elapsed since the start of the invalidation of input reception, but until then, the user can also release the invalidation at any timing.
[0032] Returning to FIG. 5, the processing of the next step will be described.
[0033] Step S113: After the user completes the setting on the setting screen 140 of FIG. 8, the user presses the start button 145 to start the invalidation of input reception. In step S112, if no setting is performed, the initial setting or the setting at the time of the previous execution may be used. The image forming apparatus 10 transmits an invalidation screen with input reception invalidated to the touch panel 941. The display control unit 102 displays the invalidation screen on the touch panel 941. The operation reception unit 103 receives only the operation input for releasing the invalidation of input reception when manual 142 or manual / automatic 144 is selected in step S112. FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an example of a screen (invalidation screen) in which input reception of the touch panel is invalidated. On the invalidation screen 150, a message 151 of "Touch input invalidation in progress (remaining time 3:00)" is displayed. Returning to the description of FIG. 5.
[0034] By the above processing, it is possible to start the invalidation of input reception on the touch panel 941 of the image forming apparatus 10.
[0035] <Process to cancel input reception disablement> Examples of operations that a user may perform to cancel the disabling of input reception on the touch panel 941 include a pinch out operation, a pinch in operation, or a continuous touch operation. These operations are operations that are unlikely to be performed by a user on the touch panel 941 while cleaning, and therefore are operations that are considered to be performed intentionally by a user on the touch panel 941 while cleaning.
[0036] When a pinch out operation or a pinch in operation is performed continuously for a predetermined period of time or more, or when a continuous touch operation is performed a predetermined number of times or more, the information processing device 1 cancels the disablement of input reception on the touch panel 941. Performing a pinch out operation or a pinch in operation continuously for a predetermined period of time or more, and performing a continuous touch operation a predetermined number of times or more are examples of specific operations that the user can perform on the touch panel 941 in order to cancel the disablement of input reception on the touch panel 941.
[0037] Since it is unlikely that a user would unintentionally perform these specific operations on the touch panel 941 while cleaning, the information processing device 1 can cancel the disabling of input reception on the touch panel 941 in accordance with the user's intention.
[0038] Here, the process will be described separately for a pinch out operation or a pinch in operation (FIG. 10A) and a continuous touch operation (FIG. 10B). The processes shown in FIG. 10A and FIG. 10B can be simultaneously executed in parallel by the information processing device 1.
[0039] <Processing for pinch out or pinch in operation> FIG. 10A is a diagram showing a flowchart illustrating an example of a process for canceling the invalidation of input reception of a touch panel. In the process of this flowchart, after temporarily invalidating the input reception of the touch panel, in order to enable the user to cancel the invalidation of input reception at an arbitrary timing, it is determined whether a pinch-out operation or a pinch-in operation has been continuously performed a predetermined number of times or more. Hereinafter, each step for realizing this process will be described.
[0040] Step S161: After the invalidation of the input reception of the touch panel 941 is started, the depression position detection unit 101 detects the depression position. When the depression position detection unit 101 detects the depression position, it notifies the depression time measurement unit 100A that the depression has been performed.
[0041] Step S162A: The depression position detection unit 101 determines whether the depression position is at two locations. If the determination result is that there are two locations (Yes), the process proceeds to step S163A. If there are not two locations (No), the process proceeds to step S167, and the state where the input reception of the touch panel 941 is invalidated is maintained. The fact that the depression position is at two locations corresponds to depressing with two fingers. In step S162A, the control unit 104 may determine whether the depression position is at two locations based on the detection result of the depression position detection unit 101.
[0042] Step S163A: The depression time measurement unit 100A starts measuring the time from the point in time when the depression position detection unit 101 determines that the depression position is at two locations. The time measured by the depression time measurement unit 100A is the time during which the depression is continuously performed with two fingers.
[0043] Step S164A: Based on the trajectory of the pressing position detected by the pressing position detection unit 101, the control unit 104 determines whether it is a pinch-out operation or a pinch-in operation. If the determination result is a pinch-out operation or a pinch-in operation (Yes), the process transitions to step S165A. If the determination result is not a pinch-out operation or a pinch-in operation (No), the process transitions to step S167, and the state where the input reception of the touch panel 941 is invalidated is maintained.
[0044] A pinch-out operation is an operation of moving the positions of two fingers apart while touching (pressing) the touch panel 941 with two fingers. A pinch-in operation is an operation of bringing the positions of two fingers closer while touching the touch panel 941 with two fingers. Note that the user may repeat the pinch-out operation and the pinch-in operation while touching the touch panel 941 with two fingers, and the pressing time measurement unit 100A also measures the time from the point when the pressing position detection unit 101 determines that there are two pressing positions even in such a case.
[0045] Step S165A: The control unit 104 determines whether the time measured by the pressing time measurement unit 100A continues for a predetermined time (predetermined threshold time) or more. If the determination result is that it continues (Yes), the process transitions to step S166. If the determination result is that it does not continue (No), the process transitions to step S167, and the state where the input reception of the touch panel 941 is invalidated is maintained.
[0046] Step S166: Based on the determination results in steps S162A, S164A, and S165A, the control unit 104 cancels the invalidation of the input reception. When receiving a notification from the control unit 104, the display control unit 102 displays a menu screen on the touch panel 941.
[0047] Through the above processing, the image forming apparatus 10 can cancel the invalidation of the input reception at an arbitrary timing intended by the user by the user continuously performing a pinch-out operation or a pinch-in operation for a predetermined time or more.
[0048] <Processing for continuous touch operation> FIG. 10B shows a flowchart illustrating an example of a process for canceling the invalidation of input reception of a touch panel. In the process of this flowchart, after temporarily invalidating the input reception of the touch panel, in order to enable the user to cancel the invalidation of input reception at an arbitrary timing, it is determined whether a continuous touch operation has been performed a predetermined number of times or more. Hereinafter, each step for realizing this process will be described. Note that steps S161, S166, and S167 are the same as steps S161, S166, and S167 in the process shown in FIG. 10B. Therefore, here, steps S162B, S163B, and S164B will be described.
[0049] Step S162B: The control unit 104 determines whether a touch operation is being continuously performed based on the pressed position detected by the pressed position detection unit 101. If the determination result is that it is being continuously performed (Yes), the process proceeds to step S163B; if it is not being continuously performed (No), the process proceeds to step S167 (maintaining the invalidation of input reception).
[0050] Step S163B: The count measurement unit 100B starts measuring the number of times the pressed position is detected since the pressed position is detected by the pressed position detection unit 101. The "number of times the pressed position is detected" measured by the count measurement unit 100B is the number of times when the next press is continuously performed within a predetermined time after being pressed once, and represents the number of continuous touch operations. The count measurement unit 100B notifies the control unit 104 of the measured number of times.
[0051] Step S164B: The control unit 104 judges whether the number of consecutive touch operations counted by the number counting unit 100B is equal to or greater than a predetermined number. The predetermined number is, for example, 4 or more, and more preferably 5 or more. If the judgment result is equal to or greater than the predetermined number (Yes), the process proceeds to step S166 (cancel disabling), and if the judgment result is not equal to or greater than the predetermined number (No), the process proceeds to step S167 (keep the input reception disabled).
[0052] Through the above process, the image forming apparatus 10 can release the disablement of input acceptance at any timing intended by the user by the user performing continuous touch operations a predetermined number of times or more.
[0053] <Effects> The information processing device 1 has a function of disabling input acceptance of the touch panel 941, and includes a press position detection unit 101 that detects a position pressed on the touch panel 941 by a user, and a control unit 104 that cancels the disabling when the trajectory of the press position detected by the press position detection unit 101 represents a pinch out operation, a pinch in operation, or a continuous touch operation.
[0054] The possibility that a pinch out operation, a pinch in operation, or a continuous touch operation is unintentionally performed during cleaning is extremely low, and it is considered that such an operation is not normally performed. When such a pinch out operation, a pinch in operation, or a continuous touch operation is performed, the disabling of input reception on the touch panel 941 is cancelled, so that it is possible to prevent the user from accidentally cancelling the disabling due to an unintentional movement made by the user during cleaning to cancel the disabling. This also applies to the information processing program and the information processing method executed by the information processing device 1.
[0055] Therefore, it is possible to provide an information processing device 1, an information processing program, and an information processing method that can cancel the disabling of input reception on the touch panel 941 in accordance with the user's intention.
[0056] Also, it is not necessary to display a button or the like on the touch panel 941 for releasing the invalidation of input reception of the touch panel 941. Although it may be difficult to check for dirt at the display location when a button or the like for releasing the invalidation of input reception is displayed, since there is no need to display such a button, it is possible to easily check for dirt on the entire touch panel 941.
[0057] Further, it further includes a press time measurement unit 100A that measures the time during which the pressed position is detected, and when the locus of the pressed position detected by the press position detection unit 101 is a pinch-out operation or a pinch-in operation, the control unit 104 may cancel the invalidation when the time measured by the press time measurement unit 100A becomes a predetermined time or more. By canceling the invalidation of input reception when a pinch-out operation or a pinch-in operation continues for a certain period of time, it is possible to cancel the invalidation of input reception of the touch panel 941 in a manner that further conforms to the intention of the user.
[0058] Further, it further includes a count measurement unit 100B that measures the number of continuous touch operations, and the control unit 104 may cancel the invalidation when the number of continuous touch operations measured by the count measurement unit 100B reaches a predetermined number or more. By canceling the invalidation of input reception when the continuous touch operation continues for a certain number of times, it is possible to cancel the invalidation of input reception of the touch panel 941 in a manner that further conforms to the intention of the user.
[0059] As described above, the information processing apparatus, information processing program, and information processing method according to the exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure have been described. However, the present disclosure is not limited to the specifically disclosed embodiments, and various modifications and changes are possible without departing from the scope of the claims.
[0060] For example, the configuration example of the functional block diagram in FIG. 4 is divided according to the main functions in order to facilitate the understanding of the processing by the information processing apparatus 1. Also, it can be divided so that one processing unit includes more processing.
[0061] Also, each function of the above-described embodiments can be realized by one or a plurality of processing circuits. An information processing apparatus having a function of invalidating input reception of a touch panel, a pressing position detection unit that detects a pressing position of the touch panel by a user, and a control unit that cancels the invalidation when a locus of the pressing position detected by the pressing position detection unit represents a pinch-out operation, a pinch-in operation, or a continuous touch operation. An information processing apparatus including the above.
2. Further including a pressing time measurement unit that measures a time during which the pressing position is detected, wherein the control unit cancels the invalidation when the time measured by the pressing time measurement unit is equal to or longer than a predetermined time when the locus of the pressing position detected by the pressing position detection unit is a pinch-out operation or a pinch-in operation. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1.
3. Further including a count measurement unit that measures the number of times of the continuous touch operation, wherein the control unit cancels the invalidation when the number of times of the continuous touch operation measured by the count measurement unit is equal to or more than a predetermined number of times. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1.
4. An information processing program for causing an information processing apparatus having a function of invalidating input reception of a touch panel to detect a pressing position of the touch panel by a user, and execute a process of canceling the invalidation when the locus of the pressing position represents a pinch-out operation, a pinch-in operation, or a continuous touch operation.
5. An information processing method for causing an information processing apparatus having a function of invalidating input reception of a touch panel to detect a pressing position of the touch panel by a user, and execute a process of canceling the invalidation when the locus of the pressing position represents a pinch-out operation, a pinch-in operation, or a continuous touch operation.
